Great little property in the centre of Wells! Walking distance to the town centre and Holkham beach. Cosy little property with everything you need! We had a great stay!

Lovely Wells

We loved our time in Wells, the cottage was very comfortable for us - a good base to come back to after long walks! Unfortunatly the second bedroom was made up as two singles rather than the king size bed that was in the description but thats only a minor detail! There were lots of thoughtful touches in the cottage that made us feel very welcome, and we were provided lots of information on the area which was very helpful!

Fabulous stay

We stayed over Easter weekend as a family of 4 and our little dog. The location was perfect, minutes walk to the harbour and very close to the beach. The cottage itself was cozy and had everything we could have needed. The beds were comfortable and everything was in good working order. We would definitely stay again as it provides an excellent base to visit Norfolk. Parking was never an issue. We always found a space a few steps away from the cottage. Thank you for an enjoyable stay

Lovely cottage in the heart of wells, very comfortable, excellent facilities, very cosy, close to nice cafes, pubs, eateries, would recommend, even the parking wasn’t a problem, considering where it was, overall, very pleased.

Lovely cottage

The cottage is in a great location in the centre of town. It had everything we needed for the two of us and our two dogs. The only minor request would be to provide a mat inside the shower as the floor got very slippy but other than that it was perfect.

Fabulous cottage in a perfect position for everything that Wells can offer.

We stayed at Hayloft for New Year as we wanted to escape to the beach and we could not have chosen better.The cottage is exceptionally well equipped, it is in excellent condition and it had everything we wanted for a “home from home” break. Everything was spotless when we arrived and there was a very nice touch as we were left a bottle of wine and a cake as a welcome. The location of Hayloft is perfect for access to all the pubs, restaurants and shops in Wells and best of all was being able to walk to a fabulous beach. The beach is about a 40 minute walk but it is all flat and the walk runs alongside the water inlet. Our dog was catered for as well with biscuits and a lovely big dog bed. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay at Hayloft. We recommend the Globe to eat and drink and they looked after us very well on New Years Eve. We will be back.

Lovely time

We had a lovely time in Wells next the Sea. The cottage was very comfortable with everything we needed. There was a lovely cake and refreshment (bottle of wine) waiting for us on arrival. It was very clean and well kept. The location was excellent and we didn’t really need to use the car as everything was in walking distance. We did a lovely walk into Stiffkey and got the bus back. The dogs were welcome and they had a lovely time too. Will visit again.

Hayloft cottage

This was the 3rd time we stayed in hayloft. We cant fault it at all, it really is home from home, spotlessly clean. The newly refurbished bathroom looks amazing. The welcome pack was lovely and welcoming, a bottle of wine, large sandwich cake, n everything you need for a cuppa on arrival. Its location is brilliant in the middle if town but on a side street so not in the bustle of it in full season, with easy walking distance of shops and quay. Absolutely love it!!

Perfect location for a weekend in Wells.

Everything is provided which is fantastic when you are just there for a weekend. It's in a fab position just behind the main shopping street. Parking is a bit of an issue but we managed to find a space further down our street. Loved all the stuff provided for our dog.

We've just returned from a few lovely days in Wells-next-the-sea. What a fab cottage. Well equipped, totally dog friendly and perfectly situated for lots of lovely eateries and walks along the beach. We loved it and the dog loved it too. What a treat!

Wonderful stay in a perfect cottage

Great location, well equipped and excellent value. If you like walking, good pubs and great fish and chips then this is the right place. Great communication beforehand made the trip go smoothly and the catering for my dog was brilliant. Thank you, I will definitely stay again.

Relaxing Retreat

We had a fabulous time at Hayloft. It is very comfortable with everything you could possibly need equipment wise, even the dog was catered for!! It is fantastically located on a quiet street right next to all the top stops in Wells with a view from the front yard down to the quay. We had a wonderful time

Never again

The covers and cushions on the sofas where covered in white dog hairs , the kitchen table had a piece of cardboard under one of the legs , there was a thick layer of dust on each of the bedroom and on the bathroom doors ,had to clean them before we could hung up our wet towels. The beds were awful far too springy, time for some new mattresses . NO recycling bins there was a note saying they had tried it but it didn't work for their guests! We have stayed in many properties up and down the country over the years and quite a few times in wells before, this is the first time we have come across this . Everyone does recycling nowadays . The last straw was on the evening before we came home , my husband lost some change from one of his pockets down the side of the sofa , when he turned up the cushion there were some half eaten hula hoop snacks !!! Such a disappointment as the cottage we stayed in in May in the Buttlands was the same sort of cost and was spotless with everything new and clean .

Hayloft cottage

This was a lovely little cottage, five mins from the front, so a walk with two dogs for an early morning walk was great.. local restaurants were great and all dog friendly.... I think there was only a couple of points that I’d choose from another cottage which would be parking (narrow road which was not easy to park in) and a garden as one of our dogs couldn’t walk far ... we thoroughly enjoyed our stay..

Perfectly positioned, tidy and well equipped.

This cottage is charming, located in the centre of town within easy walking distance of pubs, shops and the quay. It has everything you could possibly need for your stay including some lovely extras like milk, biscuits and sweets there for your arrival. We bought a dog with us and he was delighted to have his own comfy bed, dog biscuits and poo bags available for his use. The human beds were extremely comfortable and the lounge and kitchen area perfect for relaxing and unwinding in. The cottage is very nicely decorated inside with a small but functional outside seating area which caught the late afternoon sun. There is no dedicated parking but we had no problem finding a space when needed nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hayloft Cottage and would highly recommend it.

Lovely Cottage

This lovely spacious cottage is situated right in the centre of town, but on a very quiet road. Although the cottage doesn't have it's own parking, it was not an issue and we managed to park directly outside every day. The cottage was perfect and our dogs were made to feel extremely welcome, which was lovely. We will definitely look to stay there again next year (as we will be returning to take part in the Outlaw Half Holkam!).

Perfect location

We have just stayed for 4 nights Monday to Friday and we have had a lovely time. The location of the cottage is perfect as near the main shopping street, harbour and central to all Wells has to offer. The cottage is cool and perfectly equipped and the king size beds and plentiful pilllows and cushions are fabulous. Very dog friendly with a selection of leads, dog treats and even a bed provided. Great walks on the doorstep. Kitchen is lovely with all new crockery and we cooked some lovely meals with fish , fruit, vegetables bought just through the ginnel. We have loved our stay.

A courtyard garden enclosed with a picket fence, through which the neighbouring property has access.
There is no off road parking at Hayloft Cottage, roadside parking usually available nearby. There is also a Council car park 6 mins walk away where you can get a weekly permit for around £28, which can also be used in some other Council car parks along the coast.
