Twigs is a beautiful country retreat near Lechlade which sleeps two guests, in one bedroom, with a stylish bathroom. This cosy ground floor home away from home has an exposed stone fireplace with a wood burner, a well-equipped kitchen and a stunning garden which is shared with the owners. Tucked away in the picturesque village of Langford, close to the market towns of Burford and Lechlade-on-Thames, Twigs is the perfect base from which to explore the breathtaking scenery and charming towns of the Cotswolds.

Accommodation
This one bedroom holiday cottage in Langford is perfect for a romantic break in the Oxfordshire countryside. This single storey accommodation is laid out as follows:

French doors to the garden, exposed stone fireplace with wood burner, two-seater sofa, armchair, chaise longue and Smart TV

Kitchen/dining room
American-style fridge/freezer, electric oven, electric hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, Nespresso coffee machine (with some pods provided), kettle and table with seating for four

Master bedroom (Sleeps 2)
Super king size bed, two built-in wardrobes, chest of drawers and Smart TV

Family bathroom
Walk-in shower, freestanding bath with handheld shower attachment, loo and basin

Utility cupboard
Ironing board, iron, vacuum and clothes drying rack

Outside
Beautifully maintained enclosed garden with lawn and patio areas, garden bench, outdoor table with seating for two, parasol and charcoal BBQ
This outside space is shared with the owners who live next door

The maximum occupancy for this property is 2 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant (aged 2 or under)

Highly recommended for a short stay in the cotswolds

We stayed at this property over Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed it, it was warm and welcoming on our arrival with treats and even a Christmas stocking hung on the fireplace, The property was really well equipped and incredibly comfortable and the log fire was a real highlight in the winter evenings. We enjoyed an evening in the village pub. The host was very friendly and was available when needed Would highly recommend

Beautiful

We had a lovely time at this beautiful place.Everything is there for you to live just as at home.It is a very comfortable place and Coral leaves lots of extras which is a lovely and makes guests feel very welcome- .Lovely Christmas tree to make a festive feeling - will definitely be back for our third visit.

Twigs cottage was lovely. Really good accommodation and our hosts were great. All the facilities you would want at a cottage and a lovely garden. It was a good location for visiting various sites around the Cotswolds.

Fabulous Cotswolds home from home

We had a wonderful long weekend at Twigs, this is our second stay and I’m sure we will be back again. The property is a real home from home with a well equipped kitchen and lovely treats provided on arrival. The views from the property are spectacular and the garden is a delight. We enjoyed local walks, a day at RIAT and drinks at the local pub. Coral is a fantastic host, thank you for a fabulous stay.

Home away from home

Twigs has it all! It is a quiet, secluded spot with everything you need for a perfect getaway. The kitchen and bathroom facilities are great and much thought has been given to provide an unexpected variety of snacks and drinks. Coming home to Twigs after a day of exploring the Cotswolds was always a pleasure.

Perfect stay

Coral is an amazing host. The cottage was so pretty and had everything we needed. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bathroom was very modern and spacious . Sitting room was bright and cheerful with a gorgeous, well maintained garden. We didnt need the fire but would have loved to sit around it and enjoy the ambiance. There is a pub a very short walk from the property which had really good food. So nice being away from the hustle and bustle of the other villages but close enough to go out exploring during the day and know we were coming back to Twiggs.

A great base for exploring the South Cotswolds

We loved our stay at Twigs, especially the quality of all the furniture, fittings and appliances. The extras, in the form of sweet treats and basic foods, were greatly appreciated. Everything we needed was provided. The garden was the perfect place for an evening G n T or a glass of wine. We only me the host a couple of times but she was always on hand in case we needed anything. There is nothing negative to say about this property; perfect throughout.

Twigs cottage at Hanover House, Langford

Very nice quiet property in a small village away from the bustle of a larger town. Coral, the owner, was available next door if needed, but stayed to herself, even when I was knocking about her garden. I enjoyed watching the military cargo planes taking off from RAF Brize Norton several miles awayBe Norton

Absolute gem

Immaculate, stylish, every need anticipated. Top quality fittings and finishes. Extremely comfortable. Located in picturesque village. Glorious garden of impressive scale and exquisite style. Great pub (though more vegetarian needed). Easy parking. Nothing to fault. Will be back.

Perfect in every way

The cottage was beautifully clean and so comfortable. The location was great! We were close to all the things we wanted to see. The hosts were so kind and left us some welcome treats and we really had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend staying here! The village is beautiful too.

A beautiful base for exploring the local area

Twigs is a very clean and comfortably property with many thoughtful touches by the owner to make guests feel very welcome and settled. Set on the outskirts of a peaceful village it was a pleasant stroll to the local pub with its great dining, and close to various places of interest so good for explorers! Coming back to a roaring fire in the evening and waking to peaceful fields in the morning were just what we needed on our mini-break.

This is the fourth time we have had the delight of staying at Twigs. The place is perfect for two and the welcome generous and caring. John and the owner Coral are gracious hosts and nothing is too much trouble. We also were warmly and cheerily met by the neighbours, also the local inn. The highest of standards are set in décor and kitchen equipment second to none. We shall return hopefully.

fantastic & a much better way of having a short break than staying in a hotel etc.

absolutely brilliant cottage with very friendly & welcoming hosts that ensured our (far too brief) stay went so smoothly. nothing was too much trouble, everything has been planned out to perfection, with high quality goods everywhere & there is even the lovely patio & garden to relax in & enjoy after returning from a days sightseeing. we would have no hesitation in staying again but would certainly make sure it was for longer than 4 nights next time as we just didn't want to leave!

Coral and John were welcoming hosts and the cottage was in a great location for exploring the Cotswolds. The standard of the cottage was excellent with lots of nice touches, we would recommend it and would certainly book again when visiting that area.

A Delightful and Relaxing Break!

Twigs is a delightful one bedroomed property for two. It has been beautifully furnished and has a super king size very comfortable bed. Situated in the village of Langford it is extremely quiet and you can totally relax in your surroundings. The owners have thought of everything for your comfort and Twigs is very well equipped. We had a lovely few days staying at Twigs. One thing to be considered about staying in Langford is that it is somewhat “out of the way”. There is a good pub within a few minutes walk though! If you want to totally “get away from it all” then Twigs is perfect.

Superb Self Catering

Twigs is possibly the best self catering accommodation we have stayed in. It was immaculate throughout, and had everything we needed. Very quiet location and lovely village pub. We had a very relaxing holiday, and would definitely recommend. Looking forward to returning in the not so distant future. Thank you Coral and John.
