Beautiful property and location. Beach access was directly across the street. Enough utensils, dishes, and pans for everything we needed. One bed in the two bedroom was a little uncomfortable but all other furniture was comfortable. Definitely would stay again if we come back

I would stay again

Disappointed that household basics like dish soap, trash bags, tp, etc are not provided. Important to know if hair dryer, beach chairs and toys are provided. We bought stuff coming from airport to Vrbo and it turns out they were there.

Vacation grandkids

We have stayed at Majestic Sun a number of times, usually in the four bedroom/two floor units. We had a smaller group this time so this unit worked out well. We all love being right at the beach (just crossing the road). Great location!

This condo was exactly as described and pictures as well. We had an amazing stay everything was perfect, except the master bed was not that comfortable. But overall if I could give 10 stars I would!

Great place and communication.

The only thing this condo needs is a new mattress and box springs in the master bedroom. Other than that could not ask for anything more. Thank you.

Wonderful

My family and I have been coming to the Sandestin area for over 30 years. We owned a condo similar to this one for years, but we recently sold ours and are looking to buy again. With this said we were very pleased with the accommodations, location to shopping, dining and access to the beautiful beach! I highly recommend this unit to any family or singles group for a marvelous experience!

Great stay

I loved the proximity to everything. The condo was great and clean. Beautiful view of the gulf. The only thing that was a nuisance was the elevator. Sometimes only one elevator was working out of the three. That’s outside of the owners control. The HOA of the condo should take into consideration the impact of a persons stay. Overall it was a wonderful stay!

Great place for families!

Every thing was great with this property. The only thing I wish the condo had was a small hand mixer and a few pot holders. But those are minor inconveniences. The place felt very safe and the teens (and my husband) were thrilled to discover an ice cream store right there in the building! Beach access was super easy. The pool was ice cold, wish it had been heated. Would def stay again.

Great location, but needs attention.

This was our 3rd or 4th time staying at Majestic Sun. First time at 412B and first time in winter. The good: great location and views (literally you just cross the street and you are in the beach), indoor pool temperature is perfect, and there are 2 hot tubs). Clean and well maintained. The bad: beds (ALL) need to be replaced, box springs are old and bases/head and foot rest need to be adjusted because they are extremely noisy; even my deep sleep teenagers complained.

We had a nice stay, but...

It would be good to add to the check-in info that you enter on the right side of the building in the Seascape entrance.The condo was nice, but... The couch is really worn and is dirty. The VRBO says queen size beds, but they are really full size. I reached out to the management company who said they are queen size beds, but I measured, and they are full size. Just know this because 2 adults on these beds are uncomfortable. I wanted to work on the porch though the outlet doesn't work on the porch. I reached out to the management company, and they said it requires an electrician, and they wouldn't be there until after our week ended.The porch has a chair on it that the seat is literally ripped up as if something fell through the seat. I asked if they could remove the old broken chairs. They never did.I loved the Majestic Sun Resort, just wasn't satisfied with the unit and mostly the lack of doing anything to resolve any issues and saying the beds are queen when they are cleary full size.

Small and read the fine print!

Arrival was wonderful (this is about our 15th stay at a Majestic Sun property). We went and bought groceries and the first night the oven wasnt working so we called the number…it was 4:40 pm). The person said they were closing up the office but they’d be up soon. When they came they just flipped the breaker and said it was fixed and then left. When I got back to the unit and tried to cook, the oven still wasn’t working. By this time it was 5:30 pm and office hours were over so they basically said since it’s the weekend there’s not much we can do til Monday and they told us to go out to eat and they’d reimburse us. So Sunday and Monday all day with no oven (and we cook all our meals at the beach and had bought groceries). They bring us a toaster oven Monday night which was sufficient. Throughout all of this they assured us they would reimburse us for our meals/trouble. The per diem for Florida is about 70-80 dollars per day per person and we had 4 adults and 2 children. My calculations were about 800-900 dollars but they only reimbursed us 400 and then cited the rental agreement that they weren’t liable or responsible for any expenses that happened if one of the appliances broke. Wow…that is absolutely crazy to me but it’s my fault for not reading the fine print. Also…the 2nd bedroom with the 2 queen beds was awful. It was cramped, no dresser and janky shelves on wall for cable boxes. One bed only had a 2-3 inch foam pad. Uncomfortable.

Wonderful Apartment

Booking, check-in & checkout were smooth and flawless. The apartment was clean and exactly as pictured. We had an extended family trip (3 adults and 3 kids), and there was plenty of room for everyone.

Great location! Short walk to the beach. Communication with the managers was simple and friendly. Recommended some simple bed comfort measures but overall the condo was great!

We found the place dirty and we had to wash the floors to get them somehow clean. The couches were dirty with several spots ...nobody bother to even try to clean them. There is a cleaning fee included in accommodation price but it looks like the apartment was not properly clean. Couple times we locked ourselves in both bathrooms without being able to open the doors. It seem all bathroom knobs sets are old and needs to be replaced or checked. managed to use a knife and a card to be able to unlock it. In second bedroom one of the bed headboard was loose and we had to detach and place it on the floor as it was keep falling apart. It didn't affect integrity of the bed but it could have been fixed with couple nails. Fridge door handle was loose with some loose screws... The main door lock (upper lock) got stuck couple times...and in the end it worked again after applying some pressure...but we have stop using it after 2nd day. the Balcony door didn't lock properly and the lock system was loose. I have reported all these to the Destin customer service when i returned the keys and i was told that actually nobody reported any of these issues before. The funny part is that the customer service personnel who listened to my complains didn't even bother to take notes or to be interested to even verify my statement. She just took the key and the rubber bands and throw it in place together with many other keys. No wonder any issues doesn't ever get reported because customer service is not inters ted to mark these issues down. Heated pool water seemed dirty and we didn't use it. Potentially because it was a sold out week...but still maintenance should take all precautions to ensure water is clean all the times.We had two 3 years old with us and we didn't want to risk to get them sick (we had previous negative experience with same issue) Destin is a very nice area and we enjoyed the city and surrounding areas very very much...as were planning to come again in near future. However we were very disappointed with these accommodations..especially that the price we paid was not cheap./ Regards Roman family

Loved it!

This property was exactly what it claimed to be! The view was beautiful just as I suspected. The competition for front row chair service was absurd and not a stressor I'd like on vacation, but this was a mild annoyance on an overall enjoyable stay. The check-in/check-out process was efficient and organized. The maintenance staff was marvelous and friendly. Wonderful facility.
