Lovely cottage and a wonderful stay!

Lowes Meadow Cottage is a very comfortable, spacious, immaculate and well appointed bungalow. I needed to work during my stay and the wifi was great. A good kitchen and washer/dryer were a definite plus. A great place for a family holiday. Communications with Graham and Suzie were extremely prompt and helpful during booking and throughout my stay. St. Michael’s is a great location for the area and set in pretty countryside. I couldn’t have wished for a better stay!

Great place to stay

The property is very spacious, clean, and has everything to make your stay enjoyable. The welcome basket was very much appreciated. This is our second visit to Lowes Meadow with family, and I’m sure it won’t be our last! The children had a great time playing in the spacious garden with the garden toys left by the hosts!

A good base to explore the West of The Forest of Bowland.

This is a very comfortable and convenient base from which to explore Garstang and the surrounding areas. The property is excellently maintained and has everything necessary for a relaxing vacation. The garden is spacious and a wonderful area in which to relax and enjoy evening drinks or a barbecue. It is close to local facilities and there is a good choice of places to eat out within easy reach. We enjoyed our stay greatly and have no hesitation in recommending Lowes Meadow.

Cracking property in the centre of St. Michael’s

We originally booked the property for the Christmas period but due to COVID restrictions, we had to re-book. Graham was very understanding and accommodating with regular communication throughout. The property is very well presented and has a wonderful private garden. Would highly recommend.

We’re so pleased that you enjoyed your stay at Lowes Meadow Cottage over the Christmas and New Year festive period. It is always a pleasure for us putting in the effort for our guests especially decorating the cottage with Christmas trees and decorations when it clearly makes the difference for the quality of your stay. It’s also great to hear that you had a calm and relaxing experience with your grandson whilst you Visited family close by. The modern kitchen we have sounds like it caters well for the family chef and we have to think hard what people could possibly need to conjure up some fine dining. Please also visit and share our Facebook page at Lowes Meadow Cottage to keep up to date with current and future events close by. We also list special weekend offers available. Many thanks for your review and have a happy 2020. Graham & Suzie

Great Location

Plenty big enough for all six of us, good selection games to keep the kids happy and nice walks near the river. Well presented cottage with everything we needed, we would stay again

Thank you for choosing Lowes Meadow cottage for your break. We’re pleased that it catered so well for your party and had all the facilities you wanted. We try to think of what we would want out of a holiday and put this into the village cottage experience. The local area has so much to offer being very central to Lancashire, The Lakes and the Dales. It was clearly liked by your family for the River Wyre walks straight out of the front door and we also live in this area for exactly that reason. Please visit and share Lowes Meadow on Facebook whilst keeping up to date on future local events and offers. Regards Graham & Suzie

Amazing property and location

Absolutely amazing property and well stocked with everything you might need, even down to hand soap, tissues, washing tablets etc. Towels thick and soft, smelt devine. Beds really comfortable. Modern BBQ and decked area outside with ratten table and chairs in a large private peaceful garden. It was just perfect, we didn't want to leave! Will definitely stay again.
