Dormir seis, Partridge Cottage es la cabaña del medio entre Pheasant Cottage y Old Stables. Las decoraciones y los muebles atractivos hacen de esta casa rural ideal para unas vacaciones familiares independientes en Lancashire. Disfrute de un excelente alojamiento de 5 * con cocina en el bosque de Bowland con fácil acceso a Blackpool y Lancaster, y a poca distancia de los valles de Yorkshire, Cumbria y el Distrito de los Lagos.

Took 15 PT Clients For A Hike!

Absolutley remarkable and breath taking place! Great location and perfect place to reconnect with your body and friends and family, very spacious and very convenient and safe place. Astonishing views, animals and nature perfect spot for isolating and disappearing for the weekend away. Thank you so much for letting us stay and experience this beautiful cottages.. It was a group of 15 people and we loved every moment. Especially coming back to the cottages to spend the rest of the weekend after beautiful Lake District Hike. thank you!

An amazing short stay!

We recently stayed at Barnacre Cottages for my sister-in-law’s hen do, booking both The Oakhouse and Partridge Cottage. From start to finish, the experience was absolutely fantastic! First off, a huge shoutout to Beth who helped me with the booking. She was unbelievably helpful and went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble for her, and her friendly approach made the whole planning process a breeze. AMAZING customer service!! The cottages themselves were simply stunning. The pictures online don’t even come close to doing the place justice. Both The Oakhouse and Partridge Cottage were spacious, beautifully designed, and impeccably clean. The facilities were top-notch, and every room had that perfect balance of comfort and style. What really stood out was the spaciousness and layout of the cottages. The social areas were ideal for a large group like ours, with plenty of room for everyone to gather, eat, laugh, and celebrate. We had such a great time that we’re already planning to book again for some special birthdays next year. We can’t wait to return!

Perfect stay

We have stayed at partridge cottage in the past, it is a beautiful cosy cottage,everything is there you could wish for. The owners are lovely and extremely helpful.There are lots of beautiful walks on your doorstep step , being dog friendly is a bonus.eating out there’s some lovely places to eat in the village of Scorton only a short drive away as well as the larger villages of garstang.

A lovely stay!

We stayed at Partridge Cottage over Christmas 2023. The cottage was beautifully decorated for the holidays and very cosy and festive! It is extremely well equipped with everything you can think of needing and it’s a lovely sociable space to relax with family and friends. The hosts were really helpful from booking onwards, and there’s an extensive guide to the cottage and things to do in the local area. In a beautiful setting with lovely walks from the doorstep, we had a very happy family Christmas thank you!

Comfortable and charming country experience

We had a wonderful two week stay at Partridge Cottage with our family and thoroughly enjoyed it. The Barnacre property is situated in beautiful country area with lots of public rights of way where we did many interesting walks, including walking over to Garstang, Calder Vale and the Apple Store cafe. The cottage was vey peaceful and quiet, super clean and well equipped. Beth and the family were very attentive when we needed anything. Would definitely like to come back in the future!

Excellent for a family stay

Our family stayed in partridge cottage whilst visiting my parents for Christmas and it was perfect. The cottage had been beautifully decorated for Christmas with a tree and fairy lights. It was cosy, clean, the kitchen well equipped and the owners are welcoming. Will absolutely be coming back.

Loved it so much at Christmas we came back for New Year

We booked Partridge Cottage over Christmas. It’s in a lovely rural location. The cottage itself was perfect for us, 3 adults and 2 children. And was beautifully decorated for Christmas. It has everything you need for a lovely relaxing break. The kids loved the tennis court, and going to collect wood from the woodstore. In fact, we enjoyed it so much we returned for another short-break over New Year! Must shout out Beth too - excellent and prompt comms both before we booked, and during our stay. Would thoroughly recommend Barnacre Cottages!

Amazing 5 night stay at Partridge Cottage in beautiful surroundings.

First of all the Sharrples family do all they can to ensure you have a wonderful break and the lovely home made cake from Sue that was there on our arrival was a lovely added touch. Nothing was too much trouble to them and they were kind and helpful. The cottage itself was ispotlessly clean, comfortable and had all we needed. We felt very safe and secure there in these challenging times. There is a lovely private little courtyard to the rear which we made good use of. The weather was glorious and being from Lancashire we know this is not always the case, but it did mean that we and other family members staying at Mole End Cottage could enjoy the lovely green and tennis courts to the front of the cottages. They are situated in beautiful countryside with so many places to visit within just a few miles. We had a family party and bbq for a 40th birthday but also had a day of 'family celebration' with lots of fun and games for the children for all the birthdays they had not been able to share together. We would highly recommend a stay at Barnacre Cottages and we and other family members are looking to return next year.

Property and location excellent

Lovely cottage with great hosts in a beautiful location. We visited the area to see relatives and this was a great base. The weather wasn’t good when we visited - torrential rain stopped us from being able to fully explore and appreciate the area. However, the cottage provided a welcome retreat from the weather. The owners are friendly and approachable. Would have no hesitation in recommending Barnacre Cottages.

Can't fault it!

Partridge Cottage was a wonderful home from home for our short stay. The cottage is in a lovely peaceful setting with open countryside all around. It is very well equipped for a holiday and even has a fire pit for the more adeventurous! Seating areas at both the front and back give a good choice for alfresco dining. We found the cottage very comfortable and can imagine in the winter it would be perfect with the large open fire in the lounge. I feel a Christmas visit coming on! A lovely touch was the homemade cake delivered to our door ( I'm still waiting for the recipe!). It was superb and a really personal touch that made us feel very welcome. All in all, highly recommended.

A delightful cottage

Whilst the main party was focused upon Woodpecker Cottage, our five grown up grandsons appreciated their own cottage where they were able to spend some time together. They were delighted with the accommodation and facilities. And they were full of Praise for the time they enjoyed there. They rated their accommodation and facilities as excellent. Two of the group enjoyed Some tennis on the well-kept tennis court.
