Cabina única en una calle arenosa, 5 casas de la playa, 200 metros del centro de la ciudad

Pintoresca casa de playa, una cabaña de cedro. En un lote muy grande, con un arroyo que fluye a través de él, y 5 casas a la playa por un camino de grava / arena. 25 metros de una tienda de alquiler de tabla de surf y 300 metros de "centro" Stinson Beach, ya sea caminando en la playa o un corto paseo por Rte 1. Así que es uno de los mejores lugares de la ciudad para caminar cómodamente a todo, incluyendo el mercado, restaurantes, la playa, lo que sea.

La casa está distribuida de manera muy sencilla y limpia, con una gran sala de estar con asientos cómodos y amplios para todos, una pequeña cocina "vintage", pero que funciona muy bien. Los tres dormitorios están fuera de un pasillo corto. Dos "master" dormitorios con camas queen, y luego una habitación con literas con una cama doble en la parte inferior y una sola en la parte superior. Un baño completo en el pasillo principal, y un medio baño (inodoro sólo) justo dentro de la puerta trasera como camina hacia la cubierta.

Dos cubiertas, una muy grande. Se acomoda fácilmente a todos, y luego algunos. Ducha al aire libre con agua caliente, para enjuagar después de una sesión de surf. Barbacoa, firepit y juguetes de playa para su uso!

Este lugar es realmente especial. ¡Venga a hacer algunos recuerdos!

Charming beach cottage

We had an exceptional visit to Wit’s End. The property is well appointed and a hop skip and a jump from both the center of town and the beach. The beds are comfortable, the yard is spacious and has several seating areas. This is the perfect spot for a family or friends to spend the weekend.

5 Relaxing Nights!

Very comfortable house just one short block from the beach. Well appointed kitchen with spacious & sunny deck. Teens loved making smores at the fire pit. Throughout the visit, we enjoyed the many antiques and photos displayed. Great location. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect beach stay at a perfect home

We had a wonderful time at Witts end. The home is comfortably furnished and has a very eclectic beach decor. We traveled down memory lane by finding matchbooks hung from Elwood’s, which our Uncle once owned before it became the Road house. Only regret was due to obligations in town we didn’t have enough time to enjoy the beautiful outdoor area. Maybe next time we come. Tim was Great host and promptly responded to our questions prior to our visit

Family trip

Very special place in a great location. Close to everything. Enjoyed walking the beach during the day and at night during low tide. Owner was very accommodating and responsive. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Beach Getaway

The house was fantastic with everything provided. We particularly enjoyed the sunny deck area when the beach was windy. The house location was an easy walk to market and restaurants.

Perfect Getaway!

We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful location. The house was clean, well decorated, and supplied with all the comforts and conveniences you could ask for. The kitchen was well stocked, the yard was large and comfortable and even had a fire pit so we could enjoy the outside in the evenings. There were plenty of beach accessories including softtop surfboards, chairs etc. that made going to the beach even more enjoyable. It was so close to town so we could easily walk to the grocery store, restaurants and shops. We have stayed at several rentals in the area and this place was BY FAR the best. It had a homey feeling and still had all the modern amenities that made us feel comfortable and safe at all times. The heating system kept us cozy during the evenings and all the appliances were modern and in perfect working order. The host was very responsive and friendly. If you're looking for a relaxing comfortable retreat to unwind and enjoy the feeling of a Northern California beach experience this place will not dissappoint!

Covid stay

LOVED this property! Stayed here for a covid vacation and it was everything we had hoped for. The owner is super communicative and responsive. The house is so fun, clean and decorated so well! The yard is a heavenly place so we could be out in the morning at mt. Tam/Muir Woods/beach and in the afternoon my two littles age two and three spent the afternoon exploring the outdoors perfectly content without adult need for entertaining. Perfect family vacation. Can’t say enough good things!

Perfect for us!

Rented often from VRBO. This was one of our best stays ever. We were sorry to leave. Felt like home from the moment of arrival. Easy and cordial booking. We were all sorry to leave - 2 yr old, 4 yr old, two 30 something and 76 grandma. Beautiful property. I have stayed many times in this section of Stinson right on beach, but this was perfect for the family. Hope to be back.

Tim’s place is amazing. There are lots of big and small touches that make it a one-of-a-kind spot, from the interior design to the fun backyard. Comfortable, cozy, unique and clearly out together with care and love. Was a great experience!

Exceeded expectations!!

Charming cottage less than 50 steps from the sand of beautiful Stinson beach. After having a couple friends over for dinner who were staying in nearby houses, they said they wished they had beat me to renting this house. Exceeding the house was only the host, who was beyond gracious and responsive. 10/10

Perfection

We will definitely be back to Wit's End! Everything was so well thought out and tastefully done. Tim has thought of every detail! The living room was large and welcoming for our group of six, and the spacious front and back yards made for quiet retreats with a book. The beds were also very comfortable. Proximity to town and the beach meant we never got into our cars, which was a blessing on Labor Day weekend. Can't recommend this house enough!

Amazing beach house

Beautiful place just a half block from the beach on a beautiful calle, and 2 blocks from town. Very comfortable place inside and out. Large living room, well stocked kitchen and plenty of lovely outdoor space as well. Tim was very responsive and available if we needed anything. We will definitely return and highly recommend!

The house is great - huge yard, excellent WiFi, comfy beds, plenty of space & the BEST location, seconds from the beach. My family had a lovely time staying at Wits End and Tim was extremely communicative throughout the reservation process and during our stay. Highly recommend this home and we will definitely stay here on our next trip to Stinson.

Perfect beach house

We loved staying here. The location is unbeatable - walkable to the beach and to downtown Stinson (which is hard to find in Stinson). The beds were comfortable, it had a great yard and the house had everything we needed for our little beach weekend.

Best Beach House

We loved our stay once again at Tim’s place! The location is perfect, just a few houses to the beach, short walk to the store or to grab a bite to eat. Love the hot outdoor shower after a nice surf session. Great outdoor space on the property complete w/dining area, bbq, fire pit, and lounge area. Tim is also very easy to get ahold of as well. We can’t wait to stay again next year! Thank you Tim.

Fantastic Beach House

We just wrapped up our second stay at this lovely property — and we’ll be back again. Clean, inviting and bright with tastefully whimsical decor. The owners have thought of every detail: beach towels, chairs, bins for sandy shoes, outdoor shower, front and back lounge decks, and the list goes on. Can’t wait to go back!

Tim's place in Stinson Beach

Tim's place on the beach was wonderful! Th house was decorated very uniquely and was spotless when we arrived. Plenty of towels and amenities. Tim was very attentive and very accessible, not that we needed him for anything in particular. The beach was just a few houses from the beach on a dead end road. We walked to town almost every night. It was great! I would highly recommend Tim's place. And Stinson beach was just perfect!

Perfect beach house for your Stinson vacation

My friends and I had a great stay at Tim’s. He’s communicative to guests and we had no problems during our stay. The house is in excellent condition and is comfortable for a relaxing Stinson vacation. Steps from the beach and a block into town for the market, coffee shop and restaurants. Comfortably sleeps 2 couples and 2 people in the bunk bed room. Very nice outdoor area for grilling food and hanging out on the deck. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location, very well-appointed, super comfy beds, and lots of unique character!

We brought our (2) daughters, ages 13 and 16, for a weekend to celebrate their birthdays and the end of summer. The home was very comfortable for a family of four, and two extra friends for our kids. The location is just a few homes away from the beach. While right off hwy 1, we were pleasantly surprised how quiet it was. Walking distance to town, although walking along the beach is way safer than along hwy. 1. There isn't a dishwasher. Not a big deal, but maybe remember to bring some rubber gloves along. We also brought paper plates, which kept the dishes to a practical minimum. Our favorite part was the decor. We are Grateful Dead fans, and the owner has some very cool posters from past historical shows. There are walls full of eclectic memorabilia, from Stinson Beach photos and match books to places like Wyoming and across the US. Very fun to check out. I tried reading a book in the living room, and I kept looking up and getting distracted by something on the wall that caught my eye. We will definitely book this cozy cottage again. The owner was terrific to work with, and made himself very available for questions, etc.

Best beach house ever!

Wit’s End is the best beach house ever! Not too fancy, but beachy and cool. Easy walk a few houses down to the beach. Nice big family friendly beach. Awesome beach break for surfing and shallow enough for the little kids to play in. Had fun surfing with the dolphins and a number of seals. Loved that we could walk back to the house for a warm outdoor shower to rinse off or to use the bathroom, grab a snack, or whatever. The property has a nice big deck to hang out on, sand area for the kids to play in (along with sand toys), a BBQ, and lovely flower garden. Inside it was just the right size for our family of 5 to enjoy. Take a quick stroll to the little store, a restaurant, surf shop, or library if you like. All within about 5-10 min walk max. Luckily I thought ahead and made a Costco trip before coming which helped in cost savings with groceries. Tim is a great host and very responsive. I honestly can’t say enough about this place. I would live here if I could. We will definitely be back, possibly every year if Tim allows us. Thank you so much for sharing your home.

Wonderful and relaxing stay at Wits End.

Wits End is a charming cabin with the original Stinson beach vibe, great artwork and curios, and most of the modern comforts (well, no dishwasher). Cozy and well located within walking distance to town, the store, the cafes, and the beach, it’s a great place to hang out and explore West Marin, or just sit on the beach. Tim is very easy to communicate with, and was very helpful when an issue came up with some neighboring construction noise. Great towels, comfy mattresses, beach gear to use (chairs, towels, boogie boards). The outdoor space is also very comfortable, with a beautiful wildflower patch, outdoor shower, and decks to lounge on. Highly recommend spending a few days at Wits End.
