Best beach in Juan Dolio near the city of Santo Domingo! The Marbella design is very nice and open. Excellent views from the balcony! I will prefer flexibility to stay longer (Check out at noon cuts the day in half). Other than that all is good! Including the Cafeteria (between the pools) has good "chicharron de pollo", club sandwiches and pizza! They open at noon!

absolutely beautiful

The condo was perfect and beautiful. The view was amazing! So peaceful, so close to beach and pool. The condo was well stocked with everything we needed. Dania and Nicole were so responsive and the best hosts. Security is strict and very good in the condo so be sure to follow the instructions the host sends to you. We had no problem at all checking in. If you have friends join you be sure to notify the host so they can notify the condo check in desk before your friends arrive. We highly recommend this vacation rental and hope to go back again.

Location location location!

Property is beachfront and has the most amazing pools - better than most hotels. Apartment was spacious and well appointed. Lots of security in the apartment complex so we felt very safe the whole time. The only issue we had during our stay was the AC. It got way too cold at night but there was no way to adjust it. There was no ceiling fan in the second bedroom as an alternative to the AC.

My home away from home.....

The first thing I noticed was how clean and well-maintained the property was. It was clear that the owners take great pride in ensuring their guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay. The location of the property was also fantastic. It was right on the beach, near good restaurants/bars, and other attractions, making exploring the area easy and enjoying everything Juan Dolio offers. The staff at the property were incredibly friendly and helpful. They were always available to answer any questions and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed during our stay. Communication with the owners was excellent. They were responsive and accommodating, making the booking process smooth and easy. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at this property and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Juan Dolio.

Bait and Switch

The apartment and complex are as pictured, but the central air conditioning system didn't work for about half of the 14 days we were there, and we were forced to borrow fans, sleep in the living room (which had a ceiling fan), spend a day inside waiting for the repair man, all of which we were gracious about, only to have them try to charge us $100 for the costs of repairing their failed CENTRAL AIR SYSTEM, which they managed remotely and which the building maintenance team told us they routinely had issues with. I will be filing a complaint with VRBO, and do not recommend booking this unit.

We appreciate your feedback and encourage you to continue using Vrbo for your future vacations. We want to address the issue regarding the AC during your stay. While we have not experienced any problems with the AC, it seems that there may have been an issue during your visit. Overheating can occur when the unit is excessively used and not turned off when guests are away. We provided instructions on managing the AC, but it seems they were not followed. As a result, we have had to claim insurance on the reservation to potentially cover the cost of replacing the full HVAC unit. We hope that this can be resolved amicably.

Beautiful but disappointing in some ways

Beautiful apartment with a spectacular view. Very comfortable place to stay. Communication about the check in process and logistic details was poor. The owner claimed to have been trying to get ahold of me, but I didn't receive those messages. When I arrived I found out that I was supposed to send her a photo of my passport. That had not been communicated so my check=in was delayed. Finally we connected by WhatsApp. The instructions in the apartment were cryptic and hard to understand. It was not clear how to turn the air conditioner on so I had to message her to get clarification. There was no hot water on my first day (cold shower) only to find out the breaker needed to be switched on for the hot water heater to kick on. I suspect Dominicans would have known that, but I was from out of the country so had to figure it out on my own on the second day. Overall it would have been a great stay had there been better communication prior to arrival and better instructions in the apartment.

Nicole did an excellent job in communicating with us throughout the entire process and during our stay. The condo was in excellent condition. I would highly recommend this condo and I plan on rebooking it in the future.

Place was amazing and the host was very accommodating. The view here is amazing and all the staff were very helpful and pleasant. I would stay here again and would recommend this place to anyone.

Es un destino favorito para los dominicanos quienes acuden allí en fines de semana para descansar a lo largo de los 10 kilómetros de playa de arena blanca, los cuales están repletos de hoteles, restaurantes, centros de buceo, bares, así como, un montón de chalets privados de vacaciones, lujosos residenciales, y modernos complejos de apartamentos.
