Desde su posición privilegiada frente al mar, esta casa de alquiler 4BR vistas al pintoresco puerto de la paloma de la ensenada de Rockport y tiene unas vistas espectaculares, sin obstáculos de Sandy Bay. La ubicación de la casa es ideal, lejos de todo el ajetreo de la ciudad, pero dentro de un 10-15 minutos a pie de todo lo que pueda desear, incluyendo frente a la playa, restaurantes, galerías y tiendas de clase mundial y la Shalin Liu Performing Arts Center.


Disfrutar de las vistas del agua desde la cubierta, porche y patio que adornan cada nivel de la casa o desde casi todas las habitaciones. La sala de estar fireplaced con pantalla plana, nuevos muebles de cuero y controles deslizantes para el porche agricultores envolventes está abierta al comedor y cocina ell allá. Elija entre el espectáculo de la naturaleza, el paso tranquila de los barcos de langosta con sus seguidores de gaviota o lo que es omnipresente en la televisión. Este es el lugar perfecto para ver la salida del sol (si lo desea), de cualquiera de las cubiertas o frente al mar patio completa con una gran fogata. La cocina de granito recientemente reformado dispone de electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable y gabinetes nuevos elegantes.


La planta principal tiene dos dormitorios, uno de matrimonio con vistas al agua y otro dormitorio doble. También hay un cuarto de baño completo con bañera y ducha en este nivel. El segundo piso es la reina suite principal con una sala de estar, TV de pantalla plana y controles deslizantes para su propia cubierta con esas vistas increíbles. El aire acondicionado (nuevo en 2017) te mantendrá fresco, incluso en los días de verano más calurosos. El baño está separado con un lavabo y un inodoro en una habitación separada y otro lavabo fuera de la habitación principal para un fácil acceso. Hay una zona de estar y de dormir de la prima en la planta baja con una cama doble, futón doble y TV de pantalla plana, así como un baño de gran tamaño con un cuarto de baño y lavadero. Deslizadores conducen al patio y amplio patio, y el hoyo frente al mar de fuego. Ven a disfrutar de su pequeño pedazo de paraíso frente al mar en la salida del sol en la ensenada. Tenga en cuenta que esta es una propiedad frente al mar con una fuerte caída que puede ser una consideración de seguridad para los niños más pequeños. Estacionamiento para 6 coches.

Beautiful spot. The chairs and fire pit out back are perfect. The large dining room table was more than efficient. Balcony views and chairs were great. Overall, the house was exceptionally clean. One really impressive feature- they have enough outdoor chairs to accommodate the amount of people for which they advertise the house. As someone who travels occasionally in large groups, this is rare. We had one small cleaning issue, but were able to get someone in to take care of it. I would definitely come back. Important to note- the full bed in the garden room is on rollers. The bed was tough to keep in place. I hope the owners will consider putting a real bed in the space.

Family summer vacay

Our family absolutely fell in love with Rockport!! And we are SO happy with this house we chose. At first we thought we would’ve liked to be walking distance to town, but the more we evaluated it, we realized our private waterfront location was perfection! It was quiet and peaceful and beautiful. And watching the lobster boats come and go was entertaining - and surprisingly quiet and NOT smelly. We will 100% rent the same house on our next visit.

Family trip

Family came together to bring my fiances dad to Rockport. His father has been going for years and for the past 20 years it has been a tradition for my family and fiance to go yearly. SunRise on the Cove was perfect for all of us. We had our 1 year old, fiance, me and our 15 year old in the garden sweet. Brother in law , his fiance , their 16 year old and 7 year old on the top floor. Our oldest daughter (24) and her fiance and both my fiance parents on the main floor. There was a fire pit, beautiful view of the water and it was clean. Loved it. Unfortunately it rained most of our stay or it was too windy to sit outside and have a fire but we will definitely consider booking again in the summer. I did not contact the property manager. We didn't have a reason to.

Beautiful Home & Location!

Wonderful location with gorgeous views, and somehow plenty of room for all of us (3 teens, 5 adults). The view was gorgeous whether it was sunny or rainy. Sometimes rentals can have cheap, uncomfy seating or beds but we all found everything super comfy and seating on the porch was great. Close to town but also felt like a great getaway from everything. Everyone loved it. Only thing - the management left us 2 dishwasher pods for 4 nights, and also required all dishes be cleaned and put away before leaving (am used to rentals saying just load the dw, start it and go). Without enough pods, and with a large group, it caused a bit of an annoying epic by-hand cleaning effort as we were trying to clear out. Otherwise perfect beautiful wonderful stay, and we all want to come back!

Amazing location, great views and nice house!

We loved our stay here in Rockport! The house was great and clean, with amazing views. The deck was the perfect spot for our meals and morning coffee. We could have used a linens closet with some extra blankets and sheets. Basement was a bit musty and could use a dehumidifier. We had a fog for a few days and the basement was quite damp. Overall we were very happy with the house and the friendliness and response time of the property manager.

Incredible Views and Location

Each morning the sun glistened off the ocean giving the start of your new day a perfect beginning. Plenty of sun and shade are available all day long. The back deck, upper deck porch, and lawn offer picture perfect views of the Atlantic Ocean. The three floors offer plenty of room and privacy should you want to catch a nap or quiet time. Front Beach in Rockport is a 5 min drive or a 20 minute walk. Six adults and two grand children (1 and 3) lived comfortably. This was our saw second stay and plan to return.

Great view

Very workable spaces. Lots of sleeping options but some beds were not comfortable. Great dining table - very convenient for game playing. Wonderful decks/patio with great views, but baby birds falling from nest on main floor was upsetting for some of the children.

Wonderful place

The house was just as advertised with cozy spaces and outstanding views from everywhere inside and outside the house. It appeared the house was recently remodeled as everything seemed new. The third floor bedroom having only a half bath was unusual but we just doubled up on the main level bath which, like the lower level bath, was beautiful and ample in size. Everything worked from the coffee pot to the grill to the ac units. We were provided with two bundles of firewood for the fire pit which was sufficient for two nice evenings outside. They have really maximized the use of the space in this lovely house. Overall very nice and good value.

Truly a Sunrise

This was our first visit to this property and plan to return the same time next year. Five adults and a 2 year old granddaughter had plenty of space and privacy. The rear of the house has three different deck levels which makes for great viewing of the harbor and north shore seacoast. Two of the decks are shaded, the top deck is not. After 11am the middle and lower decks are in the shade. With the sun rising in the east you may want to have eye masks for the 6am gorgeous rush of sunlight into your bedroom.

Dryer doesn’t work, only 1 roll of paper towels

No one can sleep downstairs if it’s cold out because the heater is very loud! Thankfully there were only 2 couples so we all slept good. Other than that, the house worked very adequate for us. The views were great, and The Blue Marlin restaurant was great!

Only recommendation is for firmer mattresses...This year we were able to see more Family/Friends and went to more restaurants, several times... Seaport, The Village and the Boathouse. All had excellent food.Hope to return next year! Thank you for a another great and memorable vacation!

Beautiful and clean

Views are wonderful and home is well appointed and spotless! Able to watch the fishing boats come and go, and people swimming off Getty across the cove! So peaceful! There is a sheet/towel service so sheets are starched and plastic felling, that was our only complaint. Management company forgot to send us code to get in so that was a hassle upon arrival. Could use a few more “toys” (beach chairs, cooler, poles, kayak, firewood, etc. for the price) Beware, you cannot access the water from house, (not even to throw out a surf-caster), must duck to get into upstairs bed due to slanted ceiling, and downstairs bonus room smells a little musty (suggest dehumidifier). Overall wonderful!!!!

Beautiful Sunrises on the Cove

What makes this property so special is the location! My family and I spent much time on the porch enjoying not only the sunrise but watching the fishing boats come and go. The large table accommodated all of us at meal time. Not far away were many beaches. We had a wonderful vacation week!

Beautiful Sunrise

The location was fantastic with a beautiful view. Sleeping arrangements were very comfortable and there was plenty of room for us to relax and enjoy the view. Noise from construction workers next door very early in morning was a little annoying but other than that everything was great.

Reviewer Comments: Despite calling AVH the first day there that one of the only two showers was not working and a plumber was needed, AVH dithered around and NEVER did get the shower fixed!

For the expense and it being our 4th year there, it feels more like a vacation rental and business than previous years For example, there was silver ware in the drawer and glasses in the shelves that were dirty. Lots of unmatched plastic ware and Rubbermaid dishes.The dishwasher does not work properly.An animal kept getting in the garbage. I understand that happens. I would have appreciated a note telling us to leave a rock on the trash can to prevent a mess.The windows- on the inside did not look like they had been cleaned since we were there last year.The hot water in the kitchen especially is EXTREMELY hot.PLEASE put curtains in the upstairs sliding glass door. It makes for an early start for young ones without it. There is one downstairs.All the other appliances and air conditioning worked well.We love the view. We like that this is handicap accessible with our own modifications.We like the multiple floors for families staying together. We love than we can bring our little beagle.Don't change the locks the day before arrival. Our sign in information did not match what we had to do to get in. Thanks to the person who responded to our call we got inside. We were told someone tried to call us on Friday- we leave on Friday and the home number must have been used. Nobody called anyone's cell phone to alert us of the change.

The porch looking out to the ocean is the high point, and we spent long hours reading, playing cards, and just watching the boats come and go. It is QUITE sunny first thing in the morning, you will need sunglasses, but a cool ocean breeze kept things comfortable. The firepit is a great addition! Clean, well stocked kitchen. We'll be back!

A Great Vacation!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our third year at Sunrise on the Cove and remains as one of our favorite locations for a peaceful, beautiful vacation. Unlike the previous two summers there were some minor differences in the overall maintenance of the property that should be corrected i.e. sink in the main level bathroom and the toilet in that bathroom. We would highly recommend this vacation home - the view is exquisite - its a short distance from everything and anything you want to do AND it's very private! You won't regret a stay at Sunrise on the Cove! In fact you will want to go back!
