The rental was beautiful , clean and had the most awesome view!!!! We would definitely book this unit again! And it was close to the elevators , which was a plus!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a great girls week. This condo is in the perfect location with a gorgeous view of the ocean. The condo was very clean. My only complaint would be that the bunk beds did not have fitted sheets on them. I have been in other condos where the previous renters left dish and laundry soap. We did not do any cooking but there are absolutely no condiments such as salt and pepper. However, the location to multiple restaurants and shopping is great.

My only issue was the condition of some things- the kitchen had dirty pans and the Kate’s and glasses looked as though they had only been rinsed and hastily put away by the last occupants. Light bulbs were burnt out in the overhead dining room chandelier. Also, there were roach deterrents places around the interior- not exactly what we wanted to see. The pool however was gorgeous and very clean! The gym was not able to be used because we needed a card to get in and the desk was not staffed to obtain one.

Tasteful Condo with Neutral Decor

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Enjoyed the clean, uncluttered look, ample hot water heater & large space. Comfortable bed, neutral decor.The staff--in particular Angela of Seascapes & Donna of Ariel Dunes II--were friendly and helpful with problems.The sofa was positioned so that it did not create a good view of the Gulf. Needs to be on the eastward wall, facing west, to avoid the distraction of Majestic Sun.The biggest problem for a snowbird was the laundry area. The dryer was dysfunctional. Apparently stuck on a delicate setting with no way to fix it. Meant that drying laundry took forever. Had to dry jeans & shirts one by one or they wrinkled terribly. Made my stay much less relaxing.And a large locked storage cabinet was placed in the small laundry room so that there was very little room to work. No place to put laundry or supplies. Many owners have a large locked armoire in the living space. That would have been much more conveninent.

Better For 4 people

We had 6 people for 2 nights of our stay (4 adults and 2 children) and it was crowded. Better suited for 4 adults or 2 adults and 4 children. Went to hang up our clothes and there were only 10 hangers in the entire unit. Ice machine and ceiling fan in the main bedroom needed attention (forgot to report). Otherwise everything was good. Would stay here again if we only had 4 adults.

Disappointing

Reviewer Comments: The unit was poorly equipped with kitchen supplies - I requested new skillets and a spatula as the old ones were warped. Still needs a cutting board and a strainer as a minimum. The biggest deal breaker, however, was the mattress in master bedroom - super old and so soft that you would touch the bed frame with you thighs as you sit on it. After two night sleeping there, our backs hurt so bad that we had to move to kids bottom bunk bed with husband, as the kids slept on the top. That room does not have working fan though. The unit overall needs a deep clean - walls, baseboards etc. IF you are traveling in EV, please be aware that they UNPLUG your vehicle if you try to plug into the outlet in the parking lot and issue you a WARNING! We have been to Ariel Dunes for several years now and last year we did not have a problem with EV charging. Man-nt company says it is HOA, however nothing like that is stated on the web site or when you are booking the reservation. No reason for that either - it will run them between $5-$10 per vehicle per one week stay. Closest supercharger with traffic an hour away! Overall we always loved AD complex and sent there many of our friends though out the years, but this last time was ROUGH to say the least, especially having to share a bunk bed with kids. Not sure we will choose Seascape next year as our Destin destination.

Overall our stay was great but this condo needs maintenance and a new bed frame for sure.

The rug had nail tips in it, that shows that it was not even vacuumed. Under the couches there was trash. Fridge was dirty. Very upset with the sanitary conditions after each guest. The master bedroom, I sat at the cover of the bed and got hurt ... bed doesn’t have a full frame at the bottom.

Ladies' Weekend Getaway

However, the room we were switched to was not the same as I originally booked. Instead of a queen bed in the 2nd bedroom there was a double bed bunk bed with a terrible mattress. The top bunk was too high and the lower bunk was so dark and close to the bottom bunk that it was clostraphobic. This is the first time after many visits that I have been dissatisfied. They struggled trying to find me a more accurate unit at that time. The early check-in fee of $100 for 1:00 check in was a moot point since I spent so much time trying to find a suitable unit available to no avail. I had no idea the change would involve different room accommodations.

Reviewer Comments: Dishes were dirty when we got there, they said there were more pool bands in envelope then what we actually got, no radio in room, floors were smiley. Long walk to the beach. No access to workout area was provided either. Not a very good experience. Traveled from Texas and room was ready but they would not allow us to check in until almost 6:00PM.

We loved having the pools and restaurant on the property and such a short walk to the beach. The condo was nice and met our needs. We would stay again. My suggestion would be to provide a small dish soap, hand soap, maybe a couple of laundry pods. The bedding was tired. It was clean but snaggy and had some holes. The water system alarm also woke us up each night and the air conditioner leaked in a bucket that had to be emptied a couple of times a day to prevent a small flood in the laundry room. Even with all that said, we’d stay again. We had it all figured out by the end of our stay and we had an awesome view.
