10 Summerhouse Mews es un encantador apartamento en la planta baja de un pequeño desarrollo privado, a solo unos minutos a pie de Bootham Bar, York Theatre Royal, la Galería de Arte y York Minster. Great location

Great location for walking into York on foot. Very handy to have secure, well lit parking. Plenty of storage in the apartment. It was warm in the accommodation on arrival and easy to keep cosy as it was frosty weather. Good shower over bath. Furnishings could do with updating (sofa, dining table and chairs) but they were adequate. Quilt on bed too thin for winter. Luckily we had taken our electric blanket. We were comfortable here for the 3 night stay we had.

Perfect !

I look for a warm, clean, well equipped, cosy stay with a comfortable bed and a great shower. It had everything ! Kitchen had everything we needed. There is nothing I could fault - great location too. We will definitely stay again :) Thank you - what a great company to deal with - I will now always use Stays.

Nicely furnished. Sparkling clean. Nice location. Easy walk to train station. Lovely stroll through Museum Garden to city center. There are SEVEN switches/LED screen around bathroom door which we found confusing. In attempting to figure out how to turn on lights, we inadvertently turned off power to shower. Took us awhile to figure out how to get water to flow from shower. Labelling those switches would be helpful to future visitors!

Very clean and comfortable

Good location with just a short walk into the centre, either along the river or through the museum gardens. The property was very comfortable and warm with everything we needed. Secure parking was a useful feature.

Practical, quiet and comfortable apartment at a convenient location

This is the second year that we rent this property. It has a very convenient location, at walking distance from the city walls. It has its own private parking. It is located within a quiet neighbourhood. It is also well equipped if you need a good internet connection and a dedicated desk, in case you need to telework. It is reasonably comfortable and the heating works very well.

Cosey and convenient

This is a nice modern ground floor appartment in a small relatively new development. Pretty close to the city walls. The appartment is small but is well set up with its facilities. Quite close to a grocery store and to the river. We were there for a week and greatly enjoyed it.

Lovely little apartment

Apartment was clean and tidy excellent location just walk through the Museum Gardens (which are lovely) and you are in the city centre. Great having the outdoor space and a private parking space. The only negative was the TV advertised as having Freeview but we could not access this even through the smart tv function we phoned Stays York who were very friendly and helpful and even came out with a Now Tv stick for us which was very much appreciated. All in all it was a lovely few days away.

Short stay in York

The accommodation was impeccably clean, lovely comfortable bed, bathroom was great and kitchen had all you could wish for. Summerhouse Mews was a gorgeous, quiet calm and relaxing place to stay, near the town center, perfect location for exploring, thank you we thoroughly enjoyed it!

Return visit to this property

We have just returned from our third stay at this address. Quiet residential area with secure parking which we look for. Lovely apartment within easy reach of the city centre. Had a problem with tv which was dealt with by Stays York. The only suggestion would be the outdoor table and chairs could do with updating. Another successful visit to York .

City break

Great accommodation. Park car and relax. Short walk into city centre. Nice and quiet. Bed made. Everything in flat you need. Dishwasher tablets, washing machine pods. Washing up liquid. Dish cloth, tea towels. Little bag with tea coffee and milk. Sainsbury local not a far walk. Will use again next time we come to York. So much to do we still haven't done everything. Better than stopping in a hotel.

Great place to stay in York

Nice apartment in excellent location for visiting York, even has reserved private parking space. Equipped with everything you need. Felt odd that you don't see anyone - just collect key from safe outside, stay, lock up & put key back in safe. Probably system devised during Covid, and it works.

Excellent location

Couldn't have wanted a better location - 5 minutes walk from York City centre. Parked the car when we arrived and it didn't move again until we left! Comfortable, clean and very well presented flat on a quiet gated site. Only down side was the shower leaked due to broken seal. It just meant we had to mop up every time!

A short break to our favourite English city.

A very comfortable and relaxing break. We have used this apartment before and were glad to be able to book again. Very easy to walk to all amenities and attractions in York. Very clean and comfortable and the welcome pack was much appreciated. Quiet outdoor area for enjoying the good weather unfortunately on of the chairs is slightly broken at the back.

Quiet location.l

Excellent place away from the awful crowds of the city.Walk through museum gardens avoids the busy roads.Brilliant for cycling.It is right on the trans Pennines cycle path.Easy ride to Selby.Stamford Briidge,Etc.Evening walks away from the city.The parking at the property is excellent.There is an ok patio area for sitting out but no view.At the back of the property it is a bit like l living in a fish bowl.The towels had a musty smell.However all things considered and having trawled through loads of other properties and looked at their situation I would stay here again

Mostly okay

Clean and good location. Odd window arrangement resulted in poor ventilation and in our view, a certain lack of privacy. It was a shame the large lounge window did not open as it would have made a difference to the courtyard experience, namely not having to go through the front door and round. We thought it was unsafe to leave the bedroom windows open and had to use the fan at night. In really hot weather the apartment is likely to be extremely hot!! Soundproofing between the apartment and the upper floor was poor and the appliance direction leaflets could do with weeding out and updating. For instance the wifi code was wrong, the gate code on some sheets differed and we ended up googling the coffe machine instructions. Overall we enjoyed our time in York but wouldn't use this apartment again, unless visiting in the cooler months.

New Year at Summer Mews

We really enjoyed our stay at SummerMews. The apartment was very well equipped for cooking which we took full advantage of. It was centrally located with a five minute walk into the centre of York and with easy access to nice walks along the river. Would definitely recommend this apartment and we wouldn't hesitate to return ourselves.

Awesome apartment in the best location

No. 10 is a great apartment- it has everything you need and more. Very clean, warm and welcoming. Bed is comfy, kitchen well equipped. Best thing about it is the location. Museum gardens is pretty much on your door step- feed the squirrels on the way to the shambles. Or a quick walk over the bridge to train station. You don’t need a car here because location is so central but if you do there is a free designated parking spot in the complex which is a real test in York. Short walk to everywhere you would want to go in York. If gardens closed just walk via river- excellent! Apartment itself is so good. Spacious without being huge. Well equipped. Well serviced. Clean. Quiet. Got everything. Very easy to love here. Couldn’t fault it.

A four night stay at 10 Summerhouse Mews York

We have stayed at this property several times and found it the perfect location for exploring York. Although positioned close to the centre of the city it is very quiet. The entrance to the complex is via electronically controlled gates which means the mews is completely secure. It's great to have free and safe parking included too! The apartment has all the amenities you could wish for, however we both felt that the bathroom basin and bath would benefit from a deep clean and the outlets thoroughly cleared as they are slow to drain. All in all though it is excellent value for money and I'm sure we will stay here again next year.
