5 night stay - August 2022
Overall, we enjoyed our stay in this 3rd floor property, despite some very warm temperatures. We were thankful for a fan and the windows that were able to be opened. Very quiet building as well that we appreciated. Location was also great!
Only suggestion is improvement with check-in. Nothing to complain about our greeter but contactless would have been appreciated as it was a little stressful communicating our delays from the airport.

Fabulous place to stay in central London, near Victoria.
A lovely flat within 10 mins walk of Victoria station, on a quiet street. Ideal for 3 people. Excellent shower, comfortable beds, small but well-equipped kitchen. The balcony with a view over the rooftops towards Battersea power station is great. Lots of cafes, restaurants, take-aways and pubs nearby. The flat is at the top of the building, up several flights of narrow stairs, so would not be suitable for anyone with restricted mobility.
The only minor negative thing is that the door locks leading into the flat (especially the yale lock) are really tricky to open (very positional). It took us a long time and lots of key-jiggling to get inside! Maybe this could be looked at, and consider replacing the yale lock if other guests have problems with it too (or maybe we are just inept?!)
Overall though, a fabulous place to stay in central London.

***RENTER BEWARE*** this unit smells of old smoke!!! I want to use this review as a warning to future potential renters. If you are a non-smoker and have a sensitivity to old smoke smell, you will NOT be happy. I would also like to show our complete dissatisfaction with the lack of customer service we received after telling the host about our displeasure with the smell. We immediately informed them and told them we were not staying. We were in the unit approximately 1 hour. Expecting normal customer service we expected them to offer a refund for the remaining days or possibly even offer any solution to help. Instead we got responses stating that they were unwilling to do anything and that nobody has mentioned that prior. While they tried to be polite about it, they basically told us, tough luck, it is what it is. I think this is absolutely terrible customer service and something we want to warn people about. Also, while it is mentioned in the description. This unit requires you to carry your bags up 5 flights of stairs about as wide as a phone booth with extremely small spaces. If you have a decent about of large bags, you will not be happy. Again, we were mainly dissatisfied with no mention of old smoke smell stuck in the carpet and furniture and the unwillingness of the host to make it right in ANYWAY! Not the right way to do things in my opinion. I’ve never once left a negative review and this is very against what I wanted to do. They should have done more for us.

The absolute perfect location because of the quiet neighbourhood and so close to Victoria station which is a major tube, train and bus hub. The flat was very comfortable, approx 300 sq ft? but a bit worn out eg carpet. It is up a few flights of stairs.. Right to the top floor. No TV to connect to. The towel heating bar was always on which made the bathroom very warm. Bed was very comfortable and so quiet. The only issue I had was the lock box is locked to a fence under a hedge 1/2 a block away. Seemed sketchy to me especially since there is a different lock box outside the building's front door.
