¡Experimenta el encanto de Nueva Inglaterra este verano en una hermosa casa lejos de las multitudes pero a solo unos minutos de las playas! Un paseo de 3 minutos por la calle te lleva a la playa privada del río con kayak y canoa. Esta casa cuenta con cuatro habitaciones de gran tamaño, dos baños y medio, una sala de estar grande y cómoda y una hermosa cocina con encimeras de granito. Además, encontrará arriba y abajo, terminadas con relucientes pisos de madera y muebles cómodos. Además, la mejor característica de todas, ¡AC en todo momento!

En la parte de atrás, hay un patio generoso y privado con una terraza junto a la cocina. En la terraza, encontrarás muebles de exterior para cuatro personas, refréscate después de un día de arena en la playa en la ducha al aire libre fría y caliente. Todas las comodidades prometen unas vacaciones inolvidables.

Cuando esté de vacaciones en la casa de Mettatuxet, tendrá fácil acceso al río Narrow, a las playas de Bonnet Shores, a un corto trayecto en coche de la playa de Narragansett Town y a solo 10 minutos en coche de las playas de Scarborough y Salty Brine. También está a un corto trayecto en ferry de Block Island Ferry, Great Island y el auténtico pueblo de pescadores: el puerto de Galilea. Fabulous stay!

We had a wonderful stay in Narragansett! The house was perfect for our family and two dogs. It was clean, there was plenty of space, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and fun stay. The yard is great as is the back deck, and the location is close to beaches, shopping, ice cream and more. We would highly recommend!

Great house in quiet neighborhood

We had a great time at this property! The house was great and the backyard was perfect for two young kids to play around in. Nice quiet neighborhood. Beach passes are for two adults, we had a family of 7 so we ventured out to different beaches. Overall had a great time!

Excellent Stay

We were pleasantly surprised of how large the home was. The pictures do not do it justice. The bedrooms were also big. It had a great layout. The home was clean. We would stay here again. Abbey from Narragansett Properties was extremely helpful and responded to emails immediately. She was wonderful.

Katie & Matt's Wedding

The house was bigger than I expected, we spent most of our time in the kitchen, deck or bedrooms. We were there for my sons wedding in Newport so we were running most of the day. The bedrooms had plenty of room & everyone commented how comfortable the mattress's were. We all got a great sleep which we needed. We will look this property up again when we come back to visit

Great house, great location!

We just came back from a week stay at this house and it was great. House is clean and spacious and highly functional. The location of the house is amazing with places to eat and a great ice cream place within walking distance. The house also came with beach passes which was great and the beach was only 6 mins away. The management company was really easy to communicate with. There were a few things would wish would have been different about that house that we will suggest to the management company privately, but we would 100% rent this house again.

Nice quiet neighborhood

Property was as described. Very clean. Check in was easy. Tv in bedroom did not have cable connected. Could not figure out how to use a/c in living room. Remote for it wasn’t working. Nice yard and spacious for family. My dog loved the deck! Will come back.

Beautiful large home

So overall we had a great vacation at this home. The rooms were large and accommodated our 3 families well. A couple things should be clarified and improved before renting again though. 1. There is no outdoor shower here. When we rented it said it had hot/cold outdoor shower which it did not 2. Needed more frequent garbage pickups.. stinks up whole garage Needs outdoor place for garbage cans with lids. The bathroom had mildew on ceiling Otherwise a great stay

Very spacious, would be great if you are traveling with a couple different groups of friends or family members. Nice quiet neighborhood. Decor and furniture is outdated and needs TLC. Convenient to have large fridge and washer and dryer available. There were no paper towels and very little toilet paper in all bathrooms, making it necessary to make a trip to the store soon after arriving. Plan to bring all your own paper products with you. Definitely beats a hotel room if you have kids or a large group. Annoying that the keys needed to be picked up and dropped off at a separate office located 15 minutes away.

Very poorly maintained property!

This was the most poorly maintained rental we have ever stayed at! The furniture was falling apart… living room chairs back was falling off, a bed fell apart…twice!! Family members had to sleep on the floor .there was a short in one of the light/fans so it worked only some of the time. The grill had no way to clean it and obviously hadn’t been cleaned in awhile as our meat caught on fire from all the excess fat built up.i could go on but this gives you the idea! Won’t rent from Narragansett rentals again as they we’re responsible for the upkeep of this home!!

House needs better maintenance

House was not in good shape when we arrived: clean; sand on floors, shower in main bedroom had hair caught in filter; house was bare without even small conveniences ,like some toilet paper or paper towels . Broken towel racks, some lights needed replacement bulbs; outdoor grill was filthy and unusable. Arrived on Saturday and couldn't talk to management office and get help until Monday. PLUSES: 1. Mike, came on Monday and by Tuesday everything was up and running. Mike was great, capable and pleasant. 2. Plenty of hot water 3. AC. . worked well. 4. In spite of inconveniences we had a great time!

Based on our records, text communication occurred before and after hours on the date of check-in with Ms. Isaac and her daughter on two separate numbers, Saturday, July 30. We arranged for an after-hours check-in as they arrived after the office had closed and remained available for assistance both that Saturday evening and Sunday via text and emergency phone. An additional cleaning was offered, which was declined by the renter, and our management team attended to a few cosmetic issues swiftly on Monday. We apologize that the toilet paper and paper towels were not restocked and have reiterated to our cleaners both our expectations, as well as our renters'. We are pleased to hear that after the initial bumps you had an enjoyable vacation!

Good place, Great location

The location of this house is great, a 20 minute walk to the Bonnet Shores beach, and a 5 minute walk to a river beach. This made it a great place to stay with kids. The house could have used a bit of maintenance, but they seem to be on it. Similarly, we could hear some mice, but they seemed to find their way to the traps. The place needed to be cleaned when we arrived; there was a lot of hair and dust around, but the property managers sent someone out right away. The listing isn't exactly accurate regarding linens being provided. Yes, they are provided, but it is via a 3rd party service which drops them off on the porch. So, we needed to make the beds on arrival, which was a bit of a chore at 10pm with children. Also, we did not have all the sheet sets we needed for the beds and had to call and get them delivered late at night.

Graduation vacation

We. Decided to rent near the beach to celebrate my daughters graduation from NP school, and take a break before the next baby comes In October. Very nice roomy home. Our family has babies from 8 months to two so having a space for them to nap away from the group was great. The garage was nice when the rain came so the carriages could get out of the weather. My pregnant daughter has a two year old so she took the room with the bathroom and that was a great option. The shower upstairs needed a liner but the curtain dried well. The rooms were large and open so we weren’t on top of each other .The deck and front porch were a joy. We were so close to the beaches we enjoyed Narragansett nearly every day even in the rain. The passes were great but you had to get there early or after 5 to get parking. Passes were for entry to beach/ sea wall. Parking was 10 dollars across the street. On the days we went as a larger group we went for the state beach as it was one fee for the parking and entry. All the beaches were gorgeous. The washer and dryer with a large laundry room was wonderful. The neighborhood was lovely. Used rental Babyquip for crib. They were great at well. Lots of little ants all over but I guess that is everywhere. Due to the dry spell. This was a nice space to get away from our hectic work schedules and spend time together. I love the area and would love to return for another vacation . The agent was responsive and pleasant to work with Thank you

Family Vacation

The pictures don't do the property justice. The house is very large and roomy. The bedrooms were great. The kitchen was stocked with the basics and there is a washer and dryer. It's a great location - close to the beaches and shopping.

Spacious Cape for Large Family

This home had plenty of room for 7 of us, some who had to work remotely part of the week. It was nice to be able to put the kayaks in down the street, but was a bit of a carry. It felt more like a college rental, in that a small amount of basics such as dishwasher tabs, toilet paper, trash bags, etc were not provided. The dishwasher had a foul smell, due to a wet handiwipe closed up inside, which I would hope the cleaners would have checked. The grill grates were also quite dirty, so we bought a brush to clean them. That said, Narragansett Properties was very responsive to our requests for pillows and an iron (steamer). Overall, we enjoyed our stay but were disappointed in the increased fees to go to Narragansett Town Beach. For 5 additional people to pay (2 passes included) it was $75.00 for one day! If landlords are able to buy more transferable passes, they should and pass the cost on through the rent. If not, renters should be able to purchase a weekly pass as we bring a lot of business to the local economy!

family beach house 2021

this property was great for a family with children. the space in the house and the multiple bathrooms made day to day living easy. the listing for the house notes a narrow river beach nearby, we never found the beach and know one else in the neighborhood knew where it was.all of the chairs in the kitchen island were not safe and several of the beds were shaky at best.

Family Vacation

The functionality of the home was great for 4 kids (age range 1-9), 5 adults and our 4 legged pooch. Both inside and outside were spacious. There was a problem with one of the beds but the management team resolved the issue almost immediately. The reason this stay does not get a 5 is because of the overall interior upkeep (lots of rooms need a new coating of paint, and the shower curtains/heads need a good cleaning or just be replaced). Overall, my family had a great time!
