Great Location and House

We had a fantastic stay. The location was perfect - a short walk to both the beach and Rosemary Beach shops. The kids loved the pool, and the bikes and the beach umbrella service were used every day. The property manager was very responsive. All the bedrooms were large and we had plenty of space. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely house

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This space was perfect for our group of six, I liked how everyone had a bathroom attached to their bedroom. Pool was great for post-beach or morning, bikes were a nice touch. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and utensils. Our only complaint (and it happened on everyone's bed) was that the fitted sheet didn't really fit and would roll off the mattress. Other than that, beds were super comfortable and everything was very clean. Would recommend!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We truly loved our stay here and plan to come back to the same area! Water’s Edge is a fantastic community! Royal Destinations was also incredibly responsive our entire trip!The good:- Beach access is so close making it easy for families with young kids to get to the beach without a long walk carrying multiple items - The private pool was such a great post-beach and nighttime activity for the family - The house had everything we needed- comfy beds, lots of space for bags and clothing, the kitchen is very well stocked, lots of dining space options- The outdoor dining space facing the courtyard is great and we loved the furniture!- Lots of balconies and outdoor spaces - Very walkable- Seacrest is right across the street and Rosemary is right next door with lots of dining, shopping and activity options The recommendations:- The pool light did not work the entire time we were there which was disappointing at night with young kids. It was too dark to swim. We tried turning on the patio lights but it still wasn’t safe. The RD team did send someone out to try to fix but they were not able to- The pool area is somewhat run down especially in comparison to the other homes in Water’s Edge. The pool furniture could use a good wash and some landscaping could be done to spruce it up. - Wi-Fi network is unsecured and the signal was terrible. If you are coming to work, make sure you can use a hot spot - Could use a patio furniture update that makes the patios comfortable and more inviting. We loved the patio furniture off the dining area. - If you are bringing a large vehicle, take note that the driveway is incredibly narrow and when people are parked along the road behind you, it can be impossible to back out.

Royal destinations concierge and after hours number were quick to answer or respond with any concerns. Only complaint was the refrigerator not working properly with ice or water dispensing. Also, the rental company for the beach chairs and umbrellas were great!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, loved the beach access and chair/umbrella rental, loved the bikes provided, and the management response was wonderful. Unfortunately, the house is well worn: blinds broken, couch has seen better days, the patio furniture seems old and not maintained, and the landscaping is unkempt, and the pool was dirty most of the week. We didn’t spend much time outside on the patios and didn’t use the pool but if we had small kids I would have had to go to the store to get cleaning products and give the outside a good scrubbing before letting kids around the pool area. Btw, the coffee maker requires cone filters, not what is on the site/app description.

Lovely home. Unhappy with pool

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a lovely home and perfect for our family. Clean, close to beach and overall very lovely. We unfortunately were not able to enjoy the pool. We paid to have it heated since the 2nd week in March can be cool. The filter wasn’t working so not only was the pool not warming up but the water was dirty. I called the hotline and they sent poolMaintenance out. It wasn’t able to be fixed right away so they came back another day. We were refunded the $310 we paid to have the pool heated. Here is the thing, we paid to have a house with a pool. We paid to hear the pool. We only had use of the pool for one day of our week stay, I feel we should have been refunded more than just the cost we paid additionally to heat it.

Wonderful Thanksgiving Visit

This year we were in need of a larger space closer to the beach and Daydreams by the Sea did not disappoint. It was in an amazing location near the beach as well as Rosemary shops and restaurants. Royal Destinations was a pleasure to work with and communicated frequently and effectively. The home was also very well appointed and clean. We noticed that the owners are working to making some updates to the property and were in the process of refurbishing the pool which was not a bother during our stay. My only recommendation would be to update the deck and the main indoor living area furniture to make the home more comfortable as well as clean out some of the closets of unused items. The bedrooms and bathrooms were well appointed and comfortable. We would definitely like to return and utilize Royal Destinations in the future.

Fall break 2022

We absolutely the loved house. The size was perfect for us and it was so nice having 3 king bedrooms. Our only wish was that they had nice patio furniture. So many beautiful decks and the outdoor furniture was not comfortable or broken. Never sat on any of the decks once. Some inviting cozy outdoor space to relax would make the house absolutely perfect. We would rent it every year!

Beautiful Home

We definitely enjoyed our time here. First time in the area and we will be coming back. The home was clean and spotless. Manager was very responsive and kept checking in to make sure all was going well. We had a restful time and it felt like our home away from home.

Great Location!

This really is the preferred location! Not only is it a gorgeous neighborhood but small enough that it feels quaint. The homes are arranged in cul de sac with a middle common walkway to beach. 2 of my favorites of this property are the easy walking access to Rosemary’s downtown. The other is the beach! There is a private area exclusively for this neighborhood so not as crowded as the surrounding areas. Really enjoyed our stay and plan to make this a regular trip!

Daydreams by the Sea - Family stay

My family and a couple of friends stayed at this property in May and it we really enjoyed the accommodations and location. We liked the short walk to beach, the complimentary beach set up, the four complimentary bikes, and the pool. We liked the extra gated security and many shops and eateries were in short walking or biking distance.
