Church conversion for a unique stay and experience: 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms

Be our guest at ‘Indekerk’ a truly unique church conversion. The whole church is yours during your stay, no other guests. Make your booking for 1-10 people and experience how this reformed church was transformed into a beautiful, peaceful, luxury home. Enjoy with your family or friends the original details like the thousands stained glass windows. Each of the five bedrooms has it's own en-suite bathroom.

In 1913 this reformed church was build for the village. In it's glory days it welcomed 700 churchgoers every Sunday. After the year 2000 less and less people visited the church and in 2009 it was decided to merge the 2 churches in the village together. Therefore this church was no longer in use and a new purpose for it was possible. After being for sale for 5 years the current owner bought the old church and began transforming it into a luxury holiday house. Most important in the plans was to preserve the look and feel of the church and restore original details where possible.

The result is a home where you immediately feel at home, yet still feel and see in every way this was a church that has been such an important place for so many people for almost a hundred years.

When you decide to be our guests in the church, you will have the whole church to yourself, there will be no other guests. This means that if you book the church just for 2 persons you will still have the whole church for the 2 of you. Good to know, the church is no hotel and so there is no restaurant in the church, you provide your own meals and breakfast.

The different spaces in the church:
Living room with lounge area with gas fire place, dining table, bar.

Open plan kitchen with fridge, freezer, 2 dishwashers, 2 ovens, quooker, 6 gas hobs, warming drawer, coffee machine.

Bedroom 1 (bridal suite with internal balcony in the top of the church where the old organ was) Double bed (180x200) with ensuite bathroom with shower and jacuzzi

Bedroom 2 (in the old consistory) Double bed (180x200) with ensuite bathroom with shower and sauna

Bedroom 3 with 2 single beds that can be put together to create a double bed. Ensuite bathroom with shower

Bedroom 4 with 2 single beds that can be put together to create a double bed. Ensuite bathroom with shower

Bedroom 5 with 2 single beds that can be put together to create a double bed. Ensuite bathroom with shower

Upstairs there is a conference / training room for a maximum of 16 people whiteboard and TV for presentations.

Outside garden area has a dining table and a lounge area. Parking is free in front of the church or at the parking bays.

The cleaning cost include made up beds on arrival, two towels per guests, Rituals shower products, kitchen towels and dishwasher tabs.

Coffee machines are filter type with coffee beans. Coffee beans, filters, sugar and milk are provided as well as different kinds of tea.
