INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Good Trip

The room was clean and we loved the decor! We didn't have any issues with checking in or out! We received all updates and communications through the app!! We had an awesome trip! No complaints!!

Our review

We had a nice stay at this condo. We only had two issues that we encountered. One was the handle to the balcony was broken but did not keep us from accessing outside. The second had to do with the floors, walking around barefoot our feet would be black afterwards. We would have to wash our feet before getting in bed or wear our shoes the whole time. That was a little annoying but overall. The condo was very nice and perfect for our little family. Thank you!

Beware

While this condo has an excellent view just like the rest- the condo is right in front of the elevator doors and their is no noise control - people were getting on and off the elevator all hours of the night and were very loud. Hated that the glass doors didn’t have blackout curtains - the door between the 2 bathrooms were difficult to maneuver and while I am sure some will appreciate it - I did not care for the Extra firm mattress in the master.

Everything a family needs and right on the beach!

The Summit has everything you and your family needs for a fantastic vacation. Units are individually owned so it may be hit or miss until you find the best one for you. Unit 717 had everything we needed. It sleeps 6. It has a comfortable king bed, a memory foam sleeper and two bunks. The pictures here must be out of date because the unit was mostly blue and the furniture, drapes, lamps, patio and such looked pretty new. The unit was clean and maintained. The towels were plush and new. It even has a Keurig and a Mr. Coffee! If you feel like cooking something, you have everything you need in the unit. You have a dishwasher to help with the cleanup. There are also places to BBQ outside. The view is unbelievable. Right over the pools but high enough not to be bothered by the noise. You can see way up the beach in either direction. The sun sets to the right of the unit and you get a perfect view of it. The grounds are beautiful. There is lots of parking, a game room, laundry facility, convenience store, tiki bar, and snack bar all on premises. In addition, there are two pools (one heated!), 2 kiddie pools, 3 hot tubs (one inside), a sauna and workout room. The Summit is near anything you want to do. Eat, drink, play, relax explore. There is even a nearby Zoo! We loved Gulf World! I've heard that The Summit has a following with families coming back year after year. I can see why. We'll be back and when we do it will be in unit 717.

Great stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property and would stay here again. There was a little trouble with the elevators our last day, but other than that everything was clean, comfortable, and appeared as listed.

Wonderful

The only complaints we had were tiny. The tub held water and it was hard to Keep the unit cool. But it was cozy and had everything we needed! We’ll stay again!

Great vacation small hiccups

Overall we had a wonderful stay, there were a few small hiccups with a tub that wouldn’t drain and some mold on the roof but maintenance was quick to take care of it. Overall I would say we had a great experience with this unit.

Over priced

Unit says newly renovated but has not been. Have pictures of tub, doors ect.... Unit is not worth the price. Whole building run down. Have pictures of that also. Elevators are a joke. Will not rent from this vrbo owner again. First bad experience from vrbo. Very disappointing.

We are very disappointed to hear that you did not enjoy your stay. This unit was completely remodeled except for the doors and the tubs. We have had numerous repeat guests that come back to this unit year after year. As you know, elevators are always going to be a little slow at any high rise during peak season and we feel like onsite does a great job with the upkeep of the property. We do appreciate your feedback and we are sorry that your stay was not everything you had hoped.

Nice condo, just a few issues.

My only issues were the bedroom is right by the elevator so when we were trying to sleep, we heard “teenagers/college kids” at the elevator till 3am, we told security but they can only do so much, just too many teenagers there. Also, the WiFi is not the best, so if you plan to catch up on work or college coursework (like me) it constantly buffers. Other than that, we’re pleased with the stay.
