We had a great stay at Villa Bianca. We travelled with two other couples and had plenty of room. The beds were comfortable and we had all the creature comforts we needed for our short time there. We didn't cook at the villa, but the kitchen was well appointed. The pool is not heated so we used it for cold plunges, but the hot tub was perfect for soaking after a long day hiking around the lake. And the lake is what it's all about: watching sunrises over the mountains, feeding the fish and ducks, swimming in the lake, and enjoying nights beside the water.A few user notes:1. The villa is well-located on the lake, but getting around as a party of 6 was a bit challenging. We had some success with Uber, but it's not a sure thing. The road can be unsafe to walk on (there are sections with almost no shoulder or sidewalk), but we managed it a few times. The closest bus stop is a short walk south towards Colonno (we found the buses to be great value for money), and you can be in Sala Comacina in under 10 minutes. Beyond that there is the greenway, but sections of that can be difficult. Once in Lenno you can get around a little easier, but have a plan. And a backup plan.2. The hill down from the road to the villa front door is short but steep, so be prepared to navigate that with luggage. If you stay in the upstairs bedrooms, the stairway is quite narrow as well.3. Get WhatsApp and use it to communicate with the rental company. They are very responsive and helpful.
