Berwick - Beautiful house located in the market town of Wimborne
Located on the banks of the rivers Stour and Allen, the market town of Wimborne offers plenty of history and lots of hospitality with regular music, food and drink events. With numerous 'In Bloom' awards Wimborne Minster's pretty courtyards and streets offer an interesting selection of specialist shops, charming boutiques and lots of dining opportunities and it has a Fairtrade community status, with Berwick perfectly situated for exploring it all.
The house comprises of three floors: the ground floor having a double super-king/twin bedroom and a bathroom. The first floor has a well-equipped kitchen with a dining area and a comfortable lounge. The third floor has an airy double bedroom with a vaulted beamed ceiling and en-suite shower room.
Sitting between two rivers, the town is perfectly placed for riverside walks and there are numerous opportunities for walking or cycling right from the doorstep of Berwick, both in and around this popular town. Visits to the famous Minster Church and the Model Town are certainly recommended, and when staying at Berwick you are never far away from beautiful countryside, and with the Dorset coast only a short drive away, you are in an ideal location.

First floor: Sitting area Open plan with seating for four people, television with Freeview, DVD player and electric living flame fire. Dining area Casual dining with bar table and two bar chairs. Kitchen The fully equipped kitchen includes an electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
Second floor: Bedroom two With a double bed. En-suite bathroom With a shower cubicle, hand basin and WC.
Outside: There is no garden at this property but the gardens surrounding the Minster are only a few steps away.
Additional information: This property is not suitable for children. This is a pet free property. Kings Street car park by the Minster is one of the nearest and only a minute away. There is an excellent bus service from the square, every 20 minutes to Bournemouth/Poole. A standard welcome hamper to include coffee, tea, fresh milk, sugar, salt and pepper is provided. Please note that internet access is offered at this property for recreational purposes only and is not meant for business use or streaming. Speed/service may vary depending on the package obtained by the owner which is provided to guests free of charge. Should guests experience difficulties or loss of use, neither the owner nor Dorset Hideaways will be held responsible.

Excellent property in Wimborne
We stayed for 3 nights at Berwick. The property is very comfortable and smartly decorated; the owners have provided lots of maps and suggestions for places to visit and eat. We arrived by car at night and finding the entrance to the loading area to leave bags at the property was a bit difficult; there is no parking by the property but we parked at Westfield Close car park, a short walk away - £7.10 for the entire stay. Wimborne itself is lovely, definitely recommend 10 Bottles wine bar nearly on the doorstep.

Lovely modern house in a delightful town.
We so enjoyed our stay in this modern house only a stone's throw from the Minster.
It has everything you could possibly want, the owners have thought of everything.
Wimborne Minster is a delightful town with a mix of chain and independent shops and is a great place to stay for the surrounding countryside and the coast isn't too far away, although there are plenty of walks from the doorstep if you so wish.

Excellent accommodation
Very high standard, spotless and comfortable. Central location meant you could walk anywhere. It would have been helpful to know there was no parking in advance. Thanks to the owners they provided the location of free parking nearby ( 5 min walk ish) otherwise parking costs would have been very expensive.
Stunning areas to visit a short drive away.

Lovely property in Wimborne close to town centre. Car parking free overnight short walk away.
The house is in an excellent position in Wimborne. It is nicely decorated and clean. The upstairs bedroom has no blind on the window so the room is full of light at dawn!

Good but some shortcomings!
Perfectly located, quiet , clean and a perfect size for 2 people.
We would have liked to use the upstairs bedroom but the absence of curtains/blinds made this impossible!
Our intention was always to mostly eat out, but the dining facilities (?), or truthfully, total lack thereof made this compulsory.
Otherwise, this was a lovely place to stay in central Wimborne, and we really enjoyed our visit.

An enjoyable break
We very much enjoyed our break in the center of Wimborne. The accommodation was very comfortable and the hamper waiting for us was very welcome. We would recommend this cottage to those wishing to visit the area.

Lovely town house in a central position
Lots of stairs but otherwise a comfortable and pleasant house. Did think it was expensive but I suppose it’s central location was a positive . There was only the two of us but if four were to stay the dining facilities would not be adequate as table and stools were for two only.
The kitchen and the top bedroom had no blinds ! so were woken very early by the sun and in kitchen blinded by the morning sun .
