Our beautiful, two bedroom / 2 bathroom fully refurbished, air conditioned apartments with spectacular sea views are two of the best located sea view apartments on the popular Upper Monte Dourado Resort in the centre of Carvoeiro. Beach, restaurants, shops and bars are only a couple of minutes walk away. Located within a cluster of six apartments (two high by three wide) with amazing sea, beach and village views from the lounge, kitchen, balcony & master bedroom. Free wi-fi. Two swimming pools (one heated in off season) and children's pools with ample sunbeds and parasols are just a few steps away at the rear of the apartment. The Tennis Courts on site are only a couple of minutes walk away. Entrance hallway leads to all rooms. The accommodation is tastefully decorated and consists of:- Fully equipped kitchen, spacious lounge/dining room with log burner and air conditioning, 2 refurbished bathrooms with electric heater and heated towel rail, 2 spacious bedrooms with air conditioning, ample storage facilities and good sized well furnished south facing balcony with spectacular sea, beach and village views. PLEASE NOTE: electricity costs are not included in rental price during the months from November to March (electric meter is read and payment is made at resort reception prior to departure). Lovely apartment with tremendous view of the cove from the balcony (note balcony a lot bigger than you see in photo). Great to have two bathrooms. Only a short walk to the main town (using the secret path!). Options of pools near by so you can choose to be sociable at one or choose a more peaceful one. Apartment fully equipped with all you need. Reception was friendly and came out to help us within a few minutes. My daughters and I had a great stay,

We have just returned from such a perfect family holiday here.The complex the apartment is located on was fantastic - in terms of location, services and cleanliness. The balcony played an enormous part in our stay, as it allowed us to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening after our children went to bed, and still enjoy a gentle waft of music coming up from the village. And, of course, breakfast al fresco with THAT VIEW!The village is beautiful, and the walk into the village and beach is just moments away. You have a steep hill to climb to come home, but it's not that long, and you get used to it (and burn a few calories, which is always a bonus!).The apartment is very well supplied with all that you might need; the beds are very comfortable; the wifi works well; the showers are powerful; and the choice of swimming pools are spot on.We will be back!

Appartement spacieux parfaitement situé avec une magnifique vue!

L'appartement est spacieux et confortable. Bien décoré et très bien équipé; beaucoup de petits plus!La localisation est très bonne. La vue sur la plage de Carvoeiro et l'océan est magnifique.Sur la terrasse de l'appartement, un peu de bruit en provenance d'un bar en contre-bas en soirée.Pour le reste, tout est parfait!

Great 3 Weeks

Views were stunning - would never get tired of them.Everything you would ever need was available in the unit and cleaning service was top notch.Location was only a short (up and down hill mind you) walking distance to town centre as well as most restaurants.If there was a complaint it would be that balcony gets too much sun in the afternoon with little shade other than a table umbrella.

Could not ask for a better location

Carviero is a beautiful location in central Algarve to visit. The unit is well -appointed and spacious. Very clean and cleaned an additional two times in the week; bedding wasn’t changed. The owner communicated well with us before and during our stay. The property manager was responsive with a very minor issue ( coffee maker) which was immediately replaced. The only issue I would say were the noises from another unit beside us and the difficulty to find parking near the unit. It looked like a lot of units had 2 vehicles. I think the noise might have stemmed from the location of the kitchen ( cupboard doors and scraping of furniture) to the bedroom .We have found tile floors without area rugs often problematic. The renter is charged for electrical use until the end of March. We had a charge of 13 E and did not use the heat even though the weather was very damp and cold. We just did not want a large bill at the end of the rental .

Lovely apartment, great location.

We had a great stay at Sally's apartment. Everything was clean, it had all the amenities we needed, and we liked the complex too. We had a toddler and baby with us and it was great for the kids. Plenty of space inside. No sound travel waking up sleeping kids at night (which was a welcome change from other accommodations where we had to tip toe around once they'd gone to bed). We always had space to park the car. Apartment was just a short walk to the main beach, whilst also being private and safe, with a great view off the patio. We took the side gate out of the complex to the town, which was relatively steep, but really quick. Our 4yr old walked it no problem.Only downside was the pool opening times, 11am - 4pm. Basically the middle of the day, and we were exploring. Not sure why they didn't have open earlier or later. My son never got to use the pool! (Not the owners fault).

Very good but cold

This was a condo with a wonderful view , very nice owner, and everything you need to cook . The only bad thing is that you have to pay electricity during winter month and it is very hard to be at a confortable temperature . Above that , I recommend this condo , thumbs up

Wonderful apartment with stunning views over Carvoeira bay. Beautiful resort with everything from lively bars in the main square (and live entertainment, including an orchestra) in the main square, to classy restaurant/cocktail vibe in the square up the hill to the west. Terrific choice of food in numerous restaurants/cafes.Also great place for young people in summer if they want to avoid the worst of pure party scene.

Wonderful Apartment with Amazing View

We stayed four nights in this amazing apartment, which features every modern convenience. We had a late check-in and early departure, and both went as smoothly as possible. Sally is a very responsive and informative hostess, and the helpful Reception staff proved to be excellent onsite managers. The apartment overlooks beautiful Carvoiero beach, and the sunrises and sunsets are spectacular! It is close to the complex’s pool and to local markets, restaurants, and bars. Parking is easy and its location offers great day trip opportunities to nearby Algarve holiday destinations, such as Tavira, Lagos, Salema, and Sagres. We had a wonderful, relaxing time in our lovely home away from home. Highly recommended!

Spectacular view!

Loved this property. Perfect for our family of 4. The view from the living room and balcony was just stunning. Lovely to sit out in the sun, eat lunch and watch the stunning sunsets. The apartment was spotless on arrival and had everything we needed. Pool and bathroom towels provided. Maid service twice during our week stay. We were able to check in early and out late. Good communication with both the owner and the reception on site. The heated swimming pool out the back was great and the town and beach a short stroll down the hill with everything you need. Would highly recommend.

Late October in Carvoeiro

Had a great stay. The condo is perfect for couples and families. Everything is well organized and very clean. A home away from home. The pool was great but a bit chilly in October. Easy walk to everything in Carvoeiro. Good location for hiking. I loved that we could walk everywhere and come home later in the day to a condo with a pool and a balcony to watch the sunset over the ocean.

We used to own and run a family coach holiday company and initially bought the apartment personally as a rental/investment property but we love the apartment and Carvoeiro so much that we now visit several times a year! We can’t get enough of the place!! We feel our knowledge of the travel business and our attention to detail has helped us in the creation of a perfect home from home for all guests. Our parents and two grown up sons also love to visit – it really is a place suitable for all ages!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

When we decided to purchase rental apartments we searched the Algarve with definite criteria. We wanted 2 bedrooms AND 2 bathrooms. We wanted a smaller village/town with a Portuguese feel and no high rise buildings yet with enough to cater for all ages. We wanted to be within walking distance of shops, restaurants & bars with no need for a hire car. We wanted a resort with communal swimming pools/reception/tennis courts and our icing on the cake was a sea view. We were so lucky to get EVERYTHING we wanted and more! We chose Carvoeiro as it retains its fishing village charm and stays ‘open’ all year round. We chose Monte Dourado resort as it is so well managed and has beautifully maintained and spacious gardens and pools. Although we are in the village our location is a quiet location.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Our south facing balconies get the sun all day long all year round. It is wonderful to sit on the balcony at any time of the day and soak up the ambience of Carvoeiro and watch and hear the waves coming onto the beach. During summer months music can be heard drifting up from the village square which is great for couples & families who want a ‘night in’ yet still want to feel a ‘part of it’ and enjoy a holiday atmosphere. Once the double glazed doors and windows are closed you have peace and quiet. Cooking-in is easy as we have full facilities & utensils – you don’t even have to wash up as we have a dishwasher! The beach is only a 5 minute walk or you have two communal pools just a few steps from your back door! The log burner creates a lovely cosy atmosphere in winter months.
