Bellamente remodelado de 2 dormitorios y 2 baños, sala de estar, sala familiar, cocina, 2 terrazas grandes con vistas a Mount Baker, Cape George, Beckett Point. 2 grandes patios privados. Salga a la playa y disfrute de peinarse en la playa, nadar, pescar cangrejos, almejas, kayak, lanzamiento de botes primitivos para kayak, canotaje, remo y más. Patio cercado. The house was great. Lots of room for us to watch the water, visit and play games. The sofa beds were a little uncomfortable, so we just slept on the couches directly ad it was fine. Thank you for the wonderful location.

What a view!!

Lovely, super clean home. We enjoyed all the different spaces to curl up in. Wish we had more time to stay, 2 nights was not enough!

Short but absolutely wonderful stay. So roomy and feels like “home.” WiFi was fast, kitchen had everything we needed, parking was great. Our granddaughter absolutely loved the views, just as much as we did. The owners are easily reached if needed.

Will stay again!

Upon arrival key and lockbox were very difficult. Finally got lock box open and key would barely go into lock. It was rusty and tip was bent. Went to Ace in Sequim and got two new keys made and worked wonderfully and placed in lockbox. Colorful, rusty key was left by kitchen sink. No water or ice in fridge. Would have been helpful to know. Cocktails on ice were difficult first night, not so much. Left a bag of ice in freezer for next guest. Hopefully it wasn't thrown out. Lovely environment and seeing a lot of wildlife. Ferries with all the fog sucked! When we left we had to drive all the way around, 172 miles to get home. But made it home and we have memories.

Exquisite, peaceful coastal retreat perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature’s beauty! The abundance of sitting areas and windows make it easy to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Sitting on the deck was a highlight, but the window seat was awesome! We saw eagles, seals, and a coyote. What a treat!

We had an amazing stay. The house is very nice and the location is perfect. There is always something to do on the beach! Communication with Candy and Brian was smooth and they always responded immediately when I reached out. We will definitely be back next year!!!

Nature!

We only stayed for two nights in July, which is a shame, because this is a beautiful location. We saw seals daily. Private location, but neighbors were very friendly when we saw them. We visited one lavender farm when we were there, which was lovely. Candy communicated very promptly, and was friendly and accommodating!

Quiet, Peaceful Beach Cabin

Candy was wonderful to work with. The house is beautiful and large enough for us, our kids and grankids. Very spacious so everyone had their space but enough seating so everyone could be together as well. Great beach time. Very private community.

It’s a unique home but very comfortable. The bad news was it was not that clean. The refrigerator was dirty with, what looked like dried blood and ½ gallon of milk left in the door. I cleaned it but then you wonder what else didn’t get cleaned. Then we found three pieces of broken glass in different places on the kitchen floor. The glass was filthy. I cleaned part of it so the owners could see the difference. Whoever the owners are hiring to clean and maintain the house and property should be fired. Even the shrubs on the deck was overgrown. The barbque was also very dirty. The beach was amazing.

Great location

We loved staying right on the beach in this cozy house. The extensive windows and sliding glass doors make the most of the view. We had a wonderful visit!

Quiet, peaceful setting

Stayed with family for the holidays. Lovely setting. The views are amazing. Even in winter weather we enjoyed sun and then a wild storm. Fun!

A true slice of heaven

We already live in Sequim, but no where near the water. My mum really wanted a waterfront Thanksgiving, and we found this lovely property only 25 minutes from where we live. We got our dates wrong and were unfortunately unable to enjoy Thanksgiving there, but my birthday fell on the dates we were there and we had a lovely little gathering with my cousins. Our dogs loved the beach and it was so fun to just stroll along looking for interesting pieces of driftwood and rocks. Loved, loved, loved to see the seals and otters that regularly swam by and seemed to like to linger. The pictures on the listing didn’t do the interior justice…it was well above my expectations! My mum was disappointed that the fireplace didn’t work, and the wood burning one was in a room we didn’t spend too much time in…but besides those two very tiny details, the property was about as good as it gets! The hosts were very amenable to our request for date changes as well as our request to stay as long as we possibly could! May 87 year old mum really did not want to leave. We really hope to be able to come and stay again.

Heaven On Earth

The Olympic Mountains are so beautiful!! This wonderful house - right on a quiet beach! The views are amazing - from the bed, sitting room and patio! We look forward to comic back!

No internet access for duration of stay. Great location

Great house with wonderful views. Unfortunately, the internet provider is unreliable, and so there was no internet/tv during the entire visit. Host tried unsuccessfully to find a solution. Not certain if this is an ongoing problem.

Left much to desire

We visited the Seqium area for the first time with our family, incl children between 4-10. We absolutely loved the view from the deck and wildlife that Discovery Bay had to provide (bald eagles, seals, porpoises, and sea otters. Unfortunately, the property doesn’t match the setting in our experience. In hindsight we wished the pictures of the posting would do a better job representing the dated interior and disjointed layout. Not sure how this place has gotten all 5 star reviews, and we are not taking it lightly to write this honest review.Besides the location and surrounding nature it left much to desire.

Peaceful retreat!

We had a wonderful stay here - Discovery Bay's waters were perfectly calm, making for awesome paddle boarding. The home's TWO decks were perfect for dining outside, watching for wildlife, and just relaxing in the sun. The home has great windows in every room, and three separate gathering spaces for lounging, etc. We were traveling with our young toddler and were able to use the huge walk-in closet for her sleep space. The walls were fairly soundproof too, so the adjacent living spaces didn't bother her at all. The bedrooms don't have solid doors, so do keep that in mind if traveling with children and need soundproof spaces. The master bedroom is huge, with magical views and a large seating area. The smaller bedroom is more private and tucked towards the back of the house. The rest of the house is perfectly furnished and well-supplied, including a massive TV in the living room. (I wish they would update the pics!) As for the location, it is located at the end of a private road. The drive up is a bit odd, it feels as if you are driving through someone's property - don't fret! It is so so quiet. You might bump into some neighbors, all of whom are very nice. But for the most part, you'll have a lot of space to yourselves. We spent our time talking long walks on the beach to beachcomb and paddleboarding into the bay. We saw seals (or the same seal?), bald eagles, herons, and gulls. In the water, we saw tons of bright red crabs and even a beautiful giant purple starfish.

Waterfront living / vacationing at it's finest with views GALORE !!!. Beautifully remodeled 2 bed 2 bath , living room, family room , Kitchen , 2 large decks with views of Mount Baker, Cape George, Beckett Point. 2 large private yards. Step right out onto the beach and enjoy beach combing, swimming, crabbing, clamming, kayaking , primitive boat launch for kayaking , canoeing, paddle boarding and more. Fenced yard. Our well behaved pet friends welcome with a fee.

1 queen bed, 1 full bed and a queen sofa bed and a full sofa bed , upon notice we can accommodate 8. A 75" BIG screen TV, and a 50" in the master.

Seals, Herons , Eagles are a common sighting ,and last fall a POD of Orca Whales !!! an incredible sighting !!!

Our town of Sequim offers many wonderful restaurants From Fast Food favorite TOOTSIES which offers FRESH FRUIT and Veggies JUICES made to order, Gluten - free Breads , or OPTIONS of BURGERS GALORE, fresh Mocha Milkshakes.

Alderwood Bistro offers local Pacific Northwest Cuisine another Sequim favorite, Sergios mexican food and Tedesco's italian inside and outside seating, Sawadee Thai and Rainshadow Cafe and many more great dining places. Sequim is also known as THE LAVENDER CAPITOL of NORTH AMERICA our HUGE LAVENDER festival is in JULY this year. OUR SEQUIM IRRIGATION FESTIVAL " WHERE WATER IS WEALTH " is a truly fun time with our parades, car shows, logging shows and much hope to see you soon !!!!!!!
NOTE : We did have caretakers living on a completely private section of the premises in the past , who are no longer living there.
