This is a flat that feels like living in someone’s beloved home and not like a sterile hotel: it has character. Luisa was extremely welcoming and ensured we were well informed and well settled. The flat itself is just off the city’s main square so it is not particularly quiet. The mattress could be due to be replaced, but that is my only complaint. A truly lovely way to live like a local in Evora.

I am very bothered and displeased with Eric's review of the apartment because it is unfair and greatly harms me. The apartment is located in the main square of Évora, but it is soundproof! If you want a place without noise, you shouldn't choose the city center! There may have been some special event in the square, I don't know, but generally the apartment is very quiet. Regarding the bed, you may not have noticed that all the textiles are of superior quality! Regarding the maxi-sized orthopedic mattress, you have a viscoelastic mattress topper that is ergonomic and adapts to the body and is considered the best mattress in the world, but you think it needs to be replaced and give me a negative rating? I think you should go to your doctor!

Our host was veryhelpful and informative. The location was excellent, on the square and an easy walk to all the sites. Theco do was clean,quiet and comfortable. It was well equipped with many extras- wine,bread,cheese and coffee etc.

Luisa was a wonderful host. She met us in paraca de Giraldo and made it easy for us to park our car in her garage, which was few minutes walk away from the apartment. The apartment in a medieval building was beautifully renovated, very clean and comfortable. She kindly showed us around, treated us with a very tasty white wine, cheese and bread and gave us all the great tips to experience the beautiful city. We had a great time and love to stay again if we come back to Portugal.

Beautiful apartment, great location!

The apartment had all the amenities, was immaculate and the location was perfect. Please know that the bed was very hard, and there are steep stairs to the apartment.

I clarify that the bed, mattress and textiles are of superior quality. Access to the apartment is via 1 flight of wide stairs with a good handrail, as indicated in the apartment advertisement.

Historic Evora

The apartment was spotless and very comfortable. We were right in the center of the historic area and could walk to everything. The little grocery across the street has fresh baked goods for our breakfasts and each and every meal was great. The unit included a parking spot which was ideal for rental car we had for touring nearby towns. We stayed 6 nights.

Excellent location

If you want somewhere in the heart of Evora this location is right on the square. Very well equipped and high quality appointments. Real flowers were a lovely touch. Louisa was very helpful.

Excellent Apartment!

We really enjoyed staying in this property, located within the old walls/palace of Evora. The apartment was BIG and very nicely decorated. The location can't be beat, just park your car in the provided garage and walk everywhere. The bedroom can be loud at night so be sure to shut the wooden window doors to help block the noise. Host was so helpful and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!
