Two bed semi detached house on South Hayling in quiet no through road. Situated just back from seafront, with less than a minutes walk to beach via walkway. Hosts live in attached property and look forward to welcoming you to Hayling.

Outside Space:
Private south facing garden, with deck, table and chairs plus side entrance with undercover area for bikes or kayak equipment (if required).

Choice of 2 pubs offering food and beer garden, convenience store, fish and chip shop (restaurant), ice cream parlour, variety of takeaways, funfair and more.

Property has 2 bedrooms one with a double bed and the other with 2 single beds. Both have wardrobes.

Hayling is excellent for walks, cycling, watersports or just relaxing. Portsmouth and Chichester are accessible by car or public transport.

Anita was very responsive when booking and asking about the accommodation. The accommodation was as described. The house is in a great location, really comfortable and well stocked with everything you would need for a stay. We had a lovely time and would book again.

First time to Hayling Island. Accommodation well located with everything one would expect of a holiday let. Delightful little garden, a bonus for those with a dog, along with a larger public grass area right next door and the beach moments away by foot. Local pub has great food and fantastic service. All the locals extremely friendly and helpful. Would thoroughly recommend.

A comfortable property in a quiet area

Unfortunately we did not have the opportunity to fully enjoy Chichester and its seaside because we had come to enjoy the Goodwood revival. However we appreciated the calm of the neighborhood, the cleanliness of the house as well as the kindness and all the good attentions of Anita.

Great house and garden close to Hayling Beach

We really enjoyed our stay and the house was perfect for our family of 4. It was clean and had all the facilities we needed. Having the washing machine and dryer in the rear of the garage was great so we could wash and dry sailing kit. The conservatory and garden decking were lovely for sitting out in. The owner made us feel very welcome and provided everything we needed. The house is a short walk to Hayling Beach and a short drive to Hayling Island Sailing Club. Thanks for a lovely stay.

First time to Hayling Island, but we'll be back. The accommodation was lovely and clean, and our host, Anita met us on arrival. The accommodation was equiped with everything we needed and there was information about local amenities and various places to eat, which was very helpful. It also had a very nice small garden which was very nice, and a conservatory.The beach was just a couple of minutes walk away, and there were two pubs on the seafront within 2 minutes walk. A very good breakfast and lunch cafe were also within 3 minuutes walk away. We had our dog with us, and the only place not available on the beach was between the Inn on the Beach, and the funfair. But it wasn't a problem. The area closest to the accommodation welconed dogs all year round. We will definitelt return to Anita, and we fully recommend her and the accommodation.

Swimming and good food

From the sea to a hot shower in 5 minutes! Coop nearby. Everything you need is there. Lots of interesting places to visit by bike or bus and train. Owner v helpful Thank you!

Convenient Well Kept Little House.

I stayed with my daughter whilst she sailed at Hayling Island Sailing Club for which the property is perfectly located. It is a very well maintained property and we very much appreciated the driveway, which fitted the car and boat, and the back garden. The host is very nice and we would be happy to stay there again.

Beginners visit

This was our first experience of this type of holiday since having our dog to accompany us. House was immaculate, host welcoming, beach within 5minute walk. Try the Madhatter Tea Party for snacks and meals, brilliant food and value.

A great few days away - just what we needed Clean and comfortable accommodation, Anita made us feel welcome. We didn't realise it was the perfect part of the Island for us. The beach front, lovely pubs and shops for food, art, crafts and touristy nic naks all within very short and easy walking distance (a few mins). Totally recommend this stay.

Emigrating back to UK

This was our first base after emigrating back from NZ. The house was the perfect home from home to allow us to find our feet. Just a minutes walk from the beach, restaurants and convenience store. Spotlessly clean and warm and cosy. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This was a great place to stay , a two minute walk to the sea and a fish and chip shop on the way back. Pebbly beach, we prefer not to get all sandy. The property was modern, clean and well equipped. Anita was very welcoming and helpful.

Great location property with everything you need

Fantastic house in a great location for exploring the island. We had our dog with us and the enclosed garden was great. Pebble beach is about 2 mins walk away, but are areas of sand when sea goes out. 4 pubs are easy walking distance as well as a some cafes, larger convenience shop, 2 x chippies, Indian and Chinese takeaways, ice cream/milk shake sellers. Further amenities are a longer walk away and Lidl is a short drive. Indian takeaway is really nice and I spent most nights in the lifeboat pub - locals are friendly. Small amusement park is 20 min walk and has a few rides, arcade and usual food outlets. Portsmouth is worth a trip to. Minor improvement for me would be a pizza cutter in the kitchen and I couldn't find the oven trays. In general I'm not a fan of UK holidays but this was a refreshing break with plenty of walking, exploration of the island and swimming in the sea.
