Unieke plek voor rustzoekers

Wij mochten een weekje genieten van de bijzondere gastvrijheid van Stefano en Margaretha in dit unieke plekje op een steenworp afstand vh Lago Orta. Bijzonder rustige ligging en heerlijke tuin en kiezelstrandje (ook om te vissen). Het apartement (bovenste) voorzien van al hetgeen je tijdens een vakantie nodig hebt incl. een snel Wifi. Diegenen die graag TV kijken zullen het moeten doen met hun eigen Laptop, mobiel of Tabl. want een TV is niet aanwezig. Mooie kleine binnenplaats met BBQ en zitjes temidden vd appartement. Prima mountainbikes aanwezig om de omgeving te verkennen. Helaas hadden we veel regen en was het koel waardoor we geen gebruik hebben kunnen maken van de bootjes en kano's. Ondanks de vele regen en nauwelijks zon hebben we een heerlijk tijd gehad in dit serene plekje. Stefano is een uitstekende gastheer die vol trots alles laat zien en ten aller tijden klaar staat voor vragen of hulp. Is ook ten aller tijden bereikbaar. Ook de laatste ochtend op uitnodigen van Stefano heerlijke Cappucnio en Croissants gegeten op mooi terrasje aan het meer in een dorpje vlakbij. Wij komen zeker weer eens terug in dit bijzondere plekje in Lagna. Bedankt Stefano en Margaretha. Ciao

Perfect place at lago ‘d Orta

Stefano is a great host that helped us in anyway. If we needed help he reacted fast and helped where he could. We had a large apartment on the first flour. No terras, but the private beach and garden whete close by. We enjoyed our time there.

Beautiful Place to be

Ein toller Ort und eine tolle Unterkunft um Urlaub zu machen. Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und haben schon vor der Reise viele gut und hilfreiche Information für unseren Aufenthalt bekommen. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, wunderschön und direkt am See. Der Garten, zwei min zu Fuß von der Wohnung, bietet eine gute Möglichkeit zur Entspannung, Gemeinschaft und zum Grillen. Die Landschaft und Umgebung ist sehr schön, man kann einiges Unternehmen und die Orte sind nicht Touriüberlaufen. Toll war, dass wir Kanus und Fahrräder zur Verfügung hattet. Die Fahrräder sind für kurze Strecken geeignet für größere Touren sind sie nicht ausgestattet. Auch das Boot, welches wir für einen guten Preis leihen konnten war den Preis wert und hat uns die Möglichkeit gegeben die Insel zu entdecken und tolle Plätze zu sehen. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und empfehlen das Haus weiter, ein Aufenthalt dort lohnt sich.

Wir haben die Ferien sehr genossen bei Stefano. Die Wohnung war gut eingerichtet und hatte viel Platz. Zwei Zimmer sind gefangene Zimmer. Die Wiese am See hatte viele Sitzgelegenheiten und viel Platz zum Spielen und Lesen. Es gibt genug Schattenplätze für alle. Die Aussicht ist wunderschön. Auch die Kanus und die Fahrräder stehen bereit zum brauchen. Es hat uns sehr gefallen.

Beautiful old residence with garden at the lake

The residence is really beautiful and is in a perfect location close to the lake with direct access to the beach and the ferry. For a trip across the lake to Orta or isola San Giuglio you can either go by canoe or take the ferry. We also used the ferry to return after hiking. The village nearby (20 min walk, 5min by car) has some nice restaurants, a supermarket and a small bakery. Everything you need you can get there. You could also rent a boat from Stefano or take lessons, if you are interested. Stefano is a great host and you can always contact him in case you need anything. We will definitely go there again.

We have stayed a week near the Orta Lake in Stefano"s appartment and it was wonderful. The location is magnificent next to the lake with a large garden and the use of the canoes. Stefano and Margharita made us feel comfortable and at home right away and we enjoyed the large house, Carmen

Le bonheur !

Superbe ensemble d'appartements et une maison à louer, au bord du lac d'Orta. Dans une impasse, aucun passage de voiture, pas un bruit !!! A 2 minutes à pied du lac, par l'impasse, avec une petite plage mais surtout un jardin privé de 1000 m2 environ avec une vue sur le lac magnifique. Prêt de canoë permettant de naviguer tranquille sur le lac. Prêt de vélo, on peut explorer les alentours. Le calme absolu. Stefano le propriétaire est parfait, prévenant. L'appartement était impeccable, idéal pour une famille avec deux enfants. Je reloue l'année prochaine. Je recommande vivement ce coin de paradis.

The most restful holiday ever

Grazie mille Stefano We have had a fantastic week staying in an apartment in Stefano's house which his family has owned for generations. Our apartment was on the first floor, was well laid out and included a number of family pieces of furniture adding to the charm. A short walk away was the garden which Stefano owns and is on the shore of the lake. Nothing better than coming back from a morning sight seeing and lounging there punctuated with swims in the clear water. Lago d'Orta is extremely beautiful and has the added advantage of there being few tourists. We used Stefano's canoe to go to Orta town and to wander around the lake. Bicycles took us to Pella for meals and ice creams. Stefano was extremely hospitable and looked after us very well, especially on the last day when my husband's back went into spasm. We definitely want to return.

Wonderful place, great appartement and a perfect host

We liked the appartement a lot. It is well equipped and beautifully located - just a few steps away from the lake. You can swim, go on canoe trips or just relax in the wonderful park that belongs to the house. Stefano is a very attentive and generous host. Thank you so much, we surely will come back! Sehr schöne Wohnung, groß, seenah

Schöne große Wohnung, die auch im Sommer nicht zu warm wird. Liebevoll restauriertes, stilvolles Haus mit schöner Geschichte. Stefano ist seh nett und hilfsbereit. Unsere Kinder konnten den ganzen Tag am See spielen und waren einfach glücklich. Kann ich weiterempfehlen!

Beatiful spot

We shouldn't write reviews, to keep the place secret. Lago orta is so beautiful, you don't want tourism ruining the area. For people that discovered the pearl, we recommend staying at this well equiped apartment. The canoes and bikes that come with renting the apartment provide good fun! Stefano is there to assist you and has plenty of good advice for restaurants, shops, etc. Enjoy!

Wonderful Holidays in Orta !!!

We stayed by Stefano this summer and we had truly exciting holidays!! We were 6 adults and we had one of the best time ever. The apartment is very elegant and convenient... we had access to bicycles and canoes in free access... the lake is clear and warm (you feel like in Thaïlande!)... and Stefano is very welcoming and caring (he is also here to give a good advice on how to enjoy the stay and visit the neighborhood ! We will be back for sure ;)

Lovely hidden spot in italy

Very nice spot for a calm and quiet holiday. Old building with thick walls, cool in summer. Lagna, the house and the little road to the lake feels like you are visiting relatives that live in the countryside. The owner is very hospitable and helpfull. We had trouble with our car and he helped to organise things. He also looked after us to see if we enjoyed the stay and came up with many suggestions of things to do. In short, a very nice place to stay!

Italy's paradise

-Charming restored house with 3 appartments... -We have seen two of them and both were very nice and charming. -The place is ideal to spend a relaxing holiday away from the many tourists you find at the other Italian lakes. -Although the place is calm and quiet it is very near to supermarket, restaurants, nice city centers and other places to visit. -You can explore the region and lake by boat (canoe and motorboat) -Very nice views from the garden , Island, mountains,.... -The owners are very nice and helpfull

Authentic Italian Feeling

We booked the appartemento C as an extended family of 6 persons. The village Lagna is perfect if you wish to stay in a quiet place with authentic feeling. But to get to a supermarket, is close and no problem. Fantastic garden and lake access with canoes and motorboat % barbeque possibilities. Nice appartment with antique furniture and a balcony for the evenings. Only challenge is that the rooms are behind eachother, so you have to walk through. Lago dÒrta is a secret spot compared to the big italian lakes. This is real italian atmosphere. Pella, Orta, Madonna del Sasso, Borgomanero Market, Walks along the lake, ice cream in Pella, "Torre di Buccione", lizards and bats, magic fireflies at night, Ferry at the beach, ... And the owner is very helpful. Looking forward to come back to the lake.

A wonderful week at Lake Orta!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week's stay at Lago d'Orta and only wish that we could have stayed on another week. Both apartments that we used in the villa were pristine and very comfortable, and the little hamlet of Lagna is blissfully quiet. It is a short stroll from the villa to the lake where there are comfortable chairs for sitting and a picnic table right at the lakeside with a magnificent view over lago d'Orta, the island, and the mountains. You can swim right out from the little stone beach, and the ferry periodically comes directly to the pier for trips around the lake or just over to Orta. Stefano is a charming and exuberant host, who tends to all of his guest's needs and is very responsive to questions about the region. All of the suggestions he gave us were good ones (be sure to get his recommendation for restaurants of the area), and he was even good enough to offer us a night-time ride to the Island of St. Giulio in his motorboat. It was utterly magical--followed by a gelato in the charming village of Orta St. Giulio. He also has canoes which are great fun to paddle around the lake in. One of the villages closest to the villa is Pella, which is perfectly lovely and has a couple of very nice restaurants, one of which serves elegant and delicious fare (very reasonably priced) right on the lakeside. We would definitely recommend Stefano's villa for your holiday and will look forward to going back ourselves.
