Cutterbrough, Great Field Lodges - a lodge that sleeps 2 guests in 1 bedroom

What could be better than sinking into your very own private hot tub after a day of exploring one of North Devon's best bits of coastline?

Set in Braunton, just a short drive from Saunton Sands you'll discover Cutterbrough; a contemporary Newport beach style lodge with a luxurious interior, that's perfectly designed as a couples' retreat. Open plan in design, this gorgeous lodge has a welcoming living space as well as a well-equipped kitchen that's perfect for relaxing or whipping up a few meals together in. The bright and airy living area opens out on to a large, covered deck that is surrounded by lawn, lush potted plants and tall shrubs. Furnished with a table and chairs as well as two sun loungers and a fantastic hot tub, it's an ideal place to soak up the tranquil atmosphere or to enjoy fresh air dining and a spot of sunbathing.

The lodge's master bedroom has a fantastic en-suite with a bath and separate shower cubicle. Huge floor to ceiling windows look straight out on to the private veranda inviting the sunshine in on warm, summer mornings.

Pets: 2 pets allowed, a fixed fee of £25 per dog for a short stay of 2-4 night stays and £40 per dog for a 7+ night stay is chargeable, in line with our house rules we do ask that pets are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the bedroom areas.

Good Housekeeping Bond
We ask our guests for a £50 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved and then released afterwards if there is no claim. We will contact you nearer the time of your arrival to arrange this.

Great place to stay

This was our first time staying in a Lodge and this was the perfect place. It was comfortable, clean with a fully equipped kitchen and a fantastic bathroom. It was quiet and secluded and not too far from the local town.

The most perfect short break !

Everything was absolutely perfect. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need and all furnishings were of a very good standard. Being in the hot tub whilst watching the sunsets was amazing ! We will be back !

Cutterbrough 4 day break

We found the lodge lovely with all our needs catered for ! We had a very peaceful break and enjoyed our stay in your lovely orchard ! The enclosed garden was a bonus for our two dogs who enjoyed themselves immensely ! Thank you !

Fantastic 3 nights away

We hadn’t used Luxury Costal before, but can guarantee we will be staying at Great Field Lodges again next year. fantastic well-appointed lodges, extremely clean and great location for the local beaches and sights. All in all we had a fantastic time away.

Relaxing getaway

We had a lovely long weekend in Cutterborough and having stayed in many lodges before all around the UK- were very surprised at how spotless this one is! I have recommended Great Field Lodges to everyone I know. The lodges are incredibly private and within a good distance of many lovely restaurants, cafes and beautiful beaches.

Luxury indeed.

Very impressed with all aspects of the lodge and location. Very quiet and 4 minutes to an unbelievably large sandy beach. Hot tub was great. Private enclosed garden perfect for our dog. Inside, the heating controls were simple and effective. Sometimes - in other lodges - I've had to spend some time fighting with them! I guess, I'm so used to loose shower / bathroom fittings and such that I found it strange that I couldn't fault anything.

Second visit and not disappointed

Enjoyed Our second visit to this lovely Lodge in a quiet setting but close to beautiful dog friendly beaches and amenities. Clean, well presented, welcoming touches of Prosecco and milk in the fridge on arrival what’s not to like. A perfect retreat after a day of walking.

Short 2 night stay

We had a short 2 night stay and found the lodge clean and tidy, easy to find and in a very good location to local beeches. The lodge was warm and cosy with very good amenities. The added bonus of tea, coffee machine,milk, biscuits and a bottle of prosecco waiting for you was great. Obviously the hot tub was fantastic too. Would highly recommend and stay again.

Beautifully designed, relaxing

My Wife and I stayed for a long weekend in August, the layout of the Cabin was lovely. We really enjoyed our weekend away. Although the cabins are situated on a working farm/orchards, our cabin was situated were it was very peaceful. Hot Tub was fantastic and much needed.

Fabulous lodge and location

This was our third visit to CUTTERBROUGH and once again we had a great stay. Lodge was spotless as always and it is nice to have the little extras of milk biscuits and the lovely Prosecco. We always get that lovely feeling of being in the countryside but only a couple of minutes drive from the fabulous Sauntonsands. Sarah is always quick to respond to any request we have thank you. We will definitely be coming again.

Peaceful, Relaxing retreat

Stayed here for a long weekend, lovely lodge, perfect size for two and a dog, amazing bathroom and everything you need is provided. Some lovely extra welcoming touches of Prosecco and milk in the fridge and treats for the dog. Ideal location, close to beach and town. It was great to have a private enclosed garden for the dog to run around and felt very private. The hot tub and warm outdoor shower were perfect. Would definitely recommend and return.

Perfect in every way

I love love love this place! The property had everything we needed for our break. I loved the fully enclosed garden as we have two inquisitive dogs and I felt confident that they were safe. The kitchen was well equipped, lovely comfortable bed, fantastic rainfall shower and a hot tub. Couldn’t have asked for more. We’ll be back for sure.

Perfect for our needs

We wanted somewhere dog friendly, and we found the perfect spot. The lodge is amazing for a doggy break, with an enclosed garden for security. The lodge has a fully equipped kitchen, with a fridge that had a complimentary bottle of fizz and doggy treats on the table for the dogs. A really well appointed bathroom, with a big walk in shower and a separate bath. Just a five minute drive to the town and five minutes the other way to Saunton Beach, which is the most amazing place to take your furry friends for a blast. Can't recommend it highly enough and we would certainly return here if we have the opportunity. Thank you!

Great lodge

The lodge was amazing! It had everything you needed and more. The bathroom was gorgeous and very spacious. Everything was clean and really appreciated the gifts that were left like the Prosecco, shortbread and the doggy items. The garden was lovely and secure and didn’t have to worry about the dog at all. The hot tub was one of the best parts of the holiday. The only thing I’d change is the beds and they had dips so weren’t very comfortable to sleep on. But other than that we had a fabulous time and would definitely come back and would definitely recommend!

An absolutely stunning lodge, fully equipped, immaculate, in one word, Perfect.

We stayed here for my partners' 50th birthday very last minute. We were actually stunned when we arrived as the lodge was perfect, immaculately clean, well stocked with everything you would need, even down to the little extras such as ; foil, cling film, washing up liquid, fresh milk, coffee pods for coffee machine, a bottle of bubbly and some luxury biscuits. Underfloor heating was at a perfect temperature and hot tub was very relaxing (our first experience), there is absolutely nothing that could have been or needs to be improved. Location is ideal as very close to beaches and little town centre. A wonderful long weekend was had in Cutterbrough lodge. Communication was excellent between ourselves, booking agent and Sarah (owner) was reachable at any time. Will definitely be going back and highly recommend this gorgeous little lodge.

A Weekend getaway close to the coast

A truly stunning lodge down to the finest detail. Right from the start of booking the accommodation to arriving communication was great and kept up to date with everything including being allowed to check in earlier and checking out later than the usual times. Sarah was the lady who looked after us enjoying our stay , very polite, warm and welcoming nothing was too much for her. The location was ideal close enough to walk to the town/shops and pubs and a short drive to the beaches which are absolutely stunning too. Being set on a farm it was very quiet and quite secluded too, There was even very thoughtful touches such as a bottle of Prosecco, shortbread biscuits and some milk to enjoy , this made our weekend especially as it was our 20th wedding anniversary too. I even forgot to bring my beach chairs with me but behold there was 2 in the lodge to use aswell. This lodge had everything you needed to enjoy a fabulous time away. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone, we absolutely loved and enjoyed our stay, we didn’t want to leave.

Midweek Getaway

We loved our stay! It surpassed our expectations. Location was perfect for dog walking. Super peaceful and private. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bed was super comfy, and the bathroom was luxurious. We would love to come back in the future.
