A visit to the historic fifth century Church of Santa Cecilia is a must. The church of Santa Maria in Cappella can be seen from your window. Take a short walk across the Ponte Garibaldi and you are in Rome's Historic Center, and the Piazza Farnese, the Campo di Fiori.
