Special place!

One of our most favorite apartments ever & we have stayed in many beautiful places! We adored the rustic & historical decor/architecture of this charming, quaint attic apartment! We also loved sitting out on the balcony at night watching the seagulls fly overhead. Walking to swimming areas off the rocks was a quick 5 minute walk. It’s in a quiet neighborhood but with lots of shops and cafes just around the corner. Milkana was very sweet & helpful & we were able to leave our luggage in the hallway for a bit after checkout before our bus which was great. It’s a bit of a steep narrow climb up so don’t bring big heavy suitcases but it is definitely worth it! HIGHLY recommend! It is definitely a privilege to stay in such a special home. Thank you!

Hiden gem, cosy place in the heart of historical town of Rovinj

The area is the old town, pedestrian zone, streets with historical stones, warm wibe, calmness, no noisy restaurants around. The apartment is in the roof floor, narrow and steep stairs, but lots of light from around, tiny terrace with harbor and old town view. We loved the warm feeling of the wooden roof, using the well equipped kitchen for prepairing spaghetti and eat it in the small terrace. All important things are 3-5 minutes walk from the apartment: the landmark church on the hill top, restaurants, small shops, shopping area, also the rocky town beach what we visited twice a day (even you can go on barefoot and swimming suit) Milkana, the owner, is friendly lady. She has no English, inspite of this you can easily communicate with her on Viber or Whatsapp, she uses a translator. We recommend her place and would return any time.

Very pretty studio in the heart of one of the loveliest cities, ever. We highly recommend it to couples. The air-conditioning was a blessing in the 40° heat and the wee balcony overlooking the port is the perfect place for breakfast.

Love Lost

Once upon a time this apartment was furnished with love. Sadly, it seems to have become more of a bric-a-brac shop and storage area. The bed was falling apart, a foldable spare bed clogged up the little space that was left. Do yourself a favour and avoid bruised legs and switch on a light at night should you need to get up. The decor is something you can live with, the dirt, grime and cob webs less so. At least the floors were clean and the bathroom had had a wipe. The kitchen area, however, was caked in old grease and dirt. And don’t dare look into the oven. With a little less clutter, cleaning could be made easier and guests could dare to cook. The apartment’s saving grace is the little, very private balcony with it’s beautiful view. After a while you also get used to the seagulls coming to visit. (Which is a little unnerving at first). As there only seem to be the roof tiles and the wood panelling between the apartment and the gulls, it is very noisy with the patter and squawking of these huge birds - day and night. City noises are faint, so at least you can get away from human noises. Shutters don’t close properly, again, with a little love for the apartment, this could be easily fixed. Communication was fine at first, but once money had been exchanged, there was no interest in answering questions with advice. As Milkana speaks neither English nor German, this happens through a third party who relays the questions to her. Possibly any friendliness is lost in translation. The apartment is hard to find, any online maps app fails in the narrow alleys. On the whole, I’m not sure how the apartment deserves 3 stars, unless it is on the merit of the balcony and the excellent location. It’s a shame, as this really could be a gem of a place if it was not just used as a money making machine.

Admirable and clean accommodation!

Eine wunderschöne Wohnung mit toller Aussicht von der Terrasse. Die Lage war perfekt und in der kleinen Gasse sehr zentral gelegen. Das Apartment enthält alles was mach braucht und hat eine wirklich schöne Einrichtung. Die Kommunikation mit der netten Besitzerin war auch einfach.

Ottimo, romantico e vista mare. Non è facile trovarlo ma quando ti affacci dal terrazzino si resta stupiti. La scala interna è scomoda, ripida, quasi da cordata. Nell'annuncio però è dichiarato. Non dipende dalla struttura ma il parcheggio più vicino costa 3.50 euro ora anche di notte

Unser Aufenthalt in Rovinj war toll. Das Apartment ist sehr schön und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Die Wohnung hat eine super funktionierende Klimaanlage, die man im August dringend benötigt. Die Lage mitten in der Altstadt und die Aussicht auf das Meer sind fantastisch.

Glorious residence!

Semplici le operazioni per un rapido self check-in, tutte le indicazioni necessarie ci sono state inviate prima del nostro arrivo, poi la signora ci ha accolto. L'alloggio è bellissimo e curato in ogni dettaglio, con molte foto alle pareti, travi a vista, pareti in roccia, pavimento in cotto e un bagno luminoso separato da cucina e salotto con del vetrocemento opaco che lascia passare molta luce in entrambe le direzioni. Piacevoli le tendine, le tovaglie e il tocco di calore dato da meravigliosi fiori freschi sul tavolo da pranzo. Una chicca molto apprezzata è l'angolo lettura con lampada da terra, ricavato in nicchia sotto allo spiovente del tetto affianco al letto, che di giorno beneficia della luce naturale dalla finestra soprastante. Stupenda la vista dalla terrazza sul porticciolo da un lato e il campanile della chiesa di Sant'Eufemia dall'altro. Abbiamo trovato tutto molto pulito, molti elettrodomestici, lavatrice e lavastoviglie inclusi; condizionatore efficiente. Consigliato!

Un bell’alloggio nel cuore di Rovigno

Abbiamo trascorso sette notti molto piacevoli in questo alloggio suggestivo e con vista su uno scorcio di mare. Come altri hanno segnalato, le scale sono ripide e la presenza dei gabbiani sul tetto si sente molto, ma per noi questo non è stato un grande disturbo. Vorrei invece segnalare che i davanzali sono molto bassi, privi di protezioni, e può essere pericoloso sporgersi per chiudere gli infissi esterni, tanto più che questi non si chiudono bene, avendo bisogno di un utile intervento di manutenzione, affinché non entri luce e non abbiano a sbattere con il vento. Con questa miglioria l’alloggio sarebbe perfetto.

Wunderschönes Ambiente

Das Studio ist traumhaft, romantisch eingerichtet. Jedes Detail ist passend. Der kleine Balkon mit Ausblick aufs Meer macht jeden Tag Freude. Mitten in der Altstadt gelegen hat man täglich das wunderbare Flair dieser schönen, kleinen Mittelmeerstadt. Der Markt mit Agrarprodukten und viele kleine Bars und Restaurants sind um die Ecke. Mit Fahrrad ist auch gleich an einem schönen Strand im Waldpark. Es ist ein wunderbarer Platz. Ich komme wieder!! Vielen Dank! Johanna
