VILLA LA TAGLIATA POSITANO Everyone has had a dream since their childhood. My dream was to have a piece of land to cultivate tomatoes, courgettes, basil, aubergines and authentic herbs which have been forgotten.
You can also take part in this dream by booking my apartment.
My husband and his family have run La Tagliata restaurant of Positano and cooking class since 1986. We are a big, happy family.
DETAILS OF THE VILLAThe villa has just been renovated. It consists of an entrance corridor, a large living room with a corner TV, 2 bedrooms and a main bathroom (no ensuite!). Both bedrooms have privacy and provide all the comforts. The bathroom is in the corridor. There isn't an en suite bathroom in either bedrooms. There is an inside dining area for 6 people and a larger outside dining area with a larger table. You can see this better from the photos. There is a very modern and fully equipped kitchen and there is also a smaller second bathroom with a large shower. There is an external utility room with a washing machine and dryer.
Outside there is a large terrace where you will spend most of your time enjoying the spectacular view. Infact one of the characteristics of the view is that you can see both the Positano and Praiano bays. There is an outside shower with a large shower head and hot and cold water and there is also a standard bath tub. When you have a shower or a bath, you have amazing views. The oversized Jacuzzi does not provide hot water so it is available using only from June .
The villa is located at the top of the palace so there are few stairs to climb from the street (about 25 no more) .and is on one floor .
The centre is easy to reach by bus or a plesant walk. It is recommended only walk down to the centre not all the way up.It is advisable to get the bus to get back up to the villa,The villa offer one of the best views of the area being located in the middle of the coastline of Praiano and Positano This is a spectacular villa with two bedrooms, satellite TV, air conditioning, a modern and well equipped kitchen and a large terrace with a spectacular view facing the Praiano and Positano bays. There are private gardens with all the season's freshly grown products (weather permitting!) For example, if you like cooking, together we can cook an aubergine parmigiana and fresh tomato sauce with fresh ingredients like aubergines and tomatoes from the garden. FREE BREAKFAT at our family restaurant from 09:40am to 11:00 no possible have aerlier breakfats . ( On March our restaurant is still cosed so if you book in this period please be advised that breakfast is no guaranteed we suggest to ask for it before )

imortant info about the free breakfast :It is possible to have the breakfast reaching the restaurat La Tagliata on your own and independent by either walking 10 minutes to the restaurant or by taking the local bus which you pay on board. The local bu times will be provided at the chek in. I remind you that the free breakfast service must be booked in advance .It is possible book a private parking spot in a private garage at euro 15 per day .(it must be booked in advance otherwise it is no guarateed the availability ). Please be also kindly advised that city tax/ tourist tax euro 2,50 per person must be paid at the arrival / chevk in .
