There is also a kitchen with breakfast area and woodburning stove, a living/dining room, a sitting room with woodburning stove and a first-floor snooker room with a bar. Outside there is off-road parking for up to seven cars as well as a large garden with extensive lawns, woodland, summerhouse, decking with a hot tub and a patio with dining furniture. This charming village sitting on the south side of the River Trent lies near to the National Trust's Calk Abbey as well as the East Midlands Airport, with three pubs, an Indian restaurant and a local SPAR shop for all your essentials. Plenty of excellent walking can be found in the area, as well as Foremark Reservoir, home to the Burton Sailing Club and Foremark Fishery.
