The location is second to none by the river, shops, restaurants and a park on the doorstep. The accommodation is warm and welcoming. Parking is an added bonus

SIMPLY THE BEST

We’ve stayed at numerous houses and apartments and Rondeva is by far the best. I think we’ve stayed here 4 or 5 times now and are in the throes of booking the next one. It is 10 minutes stroll from the City centre, has a lovely park 2 minutes away and several eateries/pubs surrounding the house. And the garden. Wow! The house itself is clean and has all you need within. Plus parking.

We love the outdoor seating area with the lovely river views. We also love how central the accommodation is to the city. It's so easy to walk to anywhere within the city.

This was an extremely pleasurable experience from check-in through to checkout

Located in a lovely, peaceful setting with fantastic views over the River Dee - the multi-tier terraces are an added bonus. The period property is appropriately furnished and clean, whilst also giving a more modern feel. Parking was an added bonus and once parked, we never needed to use the car as everything was only a short walk away! Chris was very welcoming and communicative without being intrusive. The welcoming bottle of wine was very much appreciated. Definitely recommended.

Great location and propert

This is a lovely house along the River Dee. Ample room and a fantastic outdoor area that the kids and adults can both enjoy. Perfect location for getting around Chester and exploring the local eateries. The host Chris is great with communication too, remaining in contact throughout your stay.

We had a lovely stay and the house is fab!

The house was very well equipped with the little touches so you don't have to pack them ie handwash, toilet rolls, salt & peppers, teabags etc. Excellent location to the shops and beautiful view of the river. Comfy beds too. Chris the owner was great too and kept in touch frequently to check everything was ok and we were happy.

Lovely house in a great location

We had a lovely stay at Rondeva, the house is clean and well equipped, and in a gorgeous location. If we could suggest one improvement it would be to get more comfortable seating in the livingroom to make it a better place to relax in the evening. We would happily stay here again or recommend it to friends and family.

The location is stunning, Chris keeps in touch to check things are ok which is very welcomed and helpful. The accommodation is super. It is fully equipped and to the highest standard. It’s comfortable and beautiful inside. Can not find any fault.

THIRD STAY! - NEED I SAY MORE?

Rondeva has an “instant settle in appeal” with all amenities , including a lovely view of the river and surrounding area. The terraced garden is super-chill. Twenty minutes (pensioner) stroll to the city centre and even less to an amazing part, cafes and eateries. Fourth visit in the throes of being booked.

Georgian House direct at the River Dee and close to the old center

This location is great, the house is direct at the River Dee, overlooking the Meadows. If you want to go to the Town Center you just make a short stroll through the Grosvenor Park. On Sunday there was a raft race and we had the best seats of Chester to watch it.

Amazing house in a lovely quiet area. House was clean, well equipped with everything you need. Lovely patio area looking onto the river where you can enjoy a drink and a chat while enjoying the peacefulness of the river and the nature around you. And Chris, the host was very nice, checking up on us to make sure everything was ok and was only a call away if we needed him.

Lovely house in great location.

A short visit with daughter-in-law and her Mum over from USA on a visit. A lovely warm, well equipped house in a great location for getting around Chester itself either along the river or through Grosvener Park and with a short walk to the train station for a visit to Liverpool for a Beatles fan from USA. Great to watch the local boat club practising. Would be a lovely place in summer to sit out and watch the world go by on tow path or river.
