Farndale Cottage is set over 3 floors. It hosts 4 bedrooms consisting of 1 x Double, 1 x King and 2 Single bedrooms.

All bedrooms can be accessed by a short flight of stairs.It offers 2 bathrooms . The family bathroom with Bath, WC , Basin and separate shower, can be found on the first floor, and the Wetroom is found on the ground floor that offers shower, WC and basin.

The cottage also boasts a open plan lounge , kitchen diner area with utility room , flat screen TVs and log burner .
Perfectly located in the heart of Whitby , and a 5 minute walk to shops ,restaurants, the harbour and Whitby's blue flagged beach, Farndale Cottage is a stunning modern holiday cottage decorated in coastal shades , to give you that feeling of the seaside. The house was originally owned by my Grandfather and where I grew up as a little girl.
The cottage offers four spacious bedrooms over two floors that consist of 2 single rooms and 1 King & 1 Double room sleeping 6 people in total.
The cottage hosts 2 bathrooms. One large family bathroom can be found on the second floor consisting of Bath , WC , Wash Basin and separate Shower. The Second bathroom is a wet room on the ground floor that offers a walk in Shower, WC and wash basin. Perfect for a shower down after a sandy day at the beach!

It also hosts an impressive open plan kitchen/diner with everything you should need for your stay.Double doors then lead you into the cosy yet comfortable living room area and boasts a beautiful log burning stove ,perfect for those winter nights. It is the perfect space for entertaining with friends and family.

If this wasn't enough, to the front of the property there is an enclosed courtyard with table and chairs providing a wonderful ambiance on a summers evening with a glass of wine and listening to the local sounds of the seaside or on a morning to rise and shine to with the first coffee of the day!

Whitby has something to offer for everyone. Whether it be exploring the stunning coastline and beaches, enjoying sunset boat trips, a slot machine or two at the arcades, or enjoying Whitbys famous fish & chips the pretty old whaling port has a wealth of history , walking up the 199 steps to the Whitby Abbey, exploring Bram Stokers famous Dracula tales , or treating yourself to some famous Whitby Jet!. All this along with themed yearly events such as Whitby Regatta , Goth weekend and Steampunk weekend it really is the place to be and voted the top staycation in the UK!
