Esta espectacular casa rural fue construida hace unos años con el encanto del estilo típico Cortijo Andaluz. Situado a 200m del pueblo blanco de Frigiliana puede encontrar la tranquilidad y a pocos metros la civilización. Esta villa rodeada de jardines y árboles frutales, tiene unas impresionantes vistas de las montañas, el mar y el pueblo de Frigiliana, por un camino de montaña hormigonado llegará sin problemas a su destino. Casa Ana consta de dos dormitorios - uno doble y un individual, además de sala de estar y cocina / chimenea y estufas para los dormitorios.Un baño completo. Un porche con fantásticas vistas. Dos terrazas con maravillosas vistas panorámicas. Piscina pequeña privada. Parking privado. A solo 5 minutos del Casco Histórico de Frigiliana donde podrás disfrutar de sus calles empinadas, callejones, adarves, miradores y casas blancas. Muy cerca de bares, restaurantes y tiendas. Por su ubicación podrán hacer senderismo o simplemente un paseo por el campo. Podrán ir a los restos de Castillo que se encuentra a unos 10 minutos subiendo la montaña, donde podrán disfrutar de las fantásticas vistas panorámicas al río, al pueblo de Frigiliana y Nerja, al mar y las montañas. Es un lugar de descanso y relajación.

Agree with the other reviews. Only positive. Even the hill up to the house was no big problem for a slightly overweight 70 year old with bad knee and hip.Thank you Ana for letting us stay in your lovely house.

Lovely house with fabulous views

We stayed at the villa for one week and enjoyed it very much. It is quite a walk to the property from the village but worth the effort. The drive up is tight but doable. The villa had all the necessary things you'd need for a comfortable holiday. Ana is very helpful and a good host.

What a find. Yes the road there in a car takes you by surprise at first, and yes it’s at the top of the hill so lots of steps. That said it’s a wonderful villa in a fantastic position. Views over the town and down to the sea are amazing. Villa has two good size bedrooms, decent kitchen (we never cooked as the town is full of restaurants and bars), choice of outside seating areas and sunbathing by the pool. More a plunge pool than swimming, but perfect for cooling off. Ana was an attentive host, responding to questions prior to arrival, watering the garden a couple of times and provided a little welcome pack including a bottle of wine. Great for wildlife too, we had visitors to the garden including goats, dragonflies, lizards and one night a couple of weasels. Frigiliana has many bars, restaurants and gift/craft shops. A gym which we used in the local complex kept the weight off as did the walk up to the villa. If you’re looking for somewhere to relax and take it easy I’d recommend both the town and the villa.

Traumhafte Panoramalage in Frigiliana!

Wir hatten eine außergewöhnlich entspannende Woche in der Casa Ana. Das Panorama ist atemberaubend schön. Die Villa ist in sehr guten Zustand und sehr sauber. Alles Nötige ist vorhanden und einem entspannten Urlaub steht nichts im Wege. Zu Fuß sind es drei Minuten in die Altstadt von Frigiliana und der Rückweg ist weniger anstrengend als vermutet! Für sehr große Fahrzeuge bzw. ungeübte Fahrer könnte die Anfahrt etwas herausfordernd sein, der letzte Kilometer ist steil und eng. Die Eigentümerin stand immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Die Anfahrtsbeschreibung war sehr gut. Ana, muchas gracias por tu hospidalidad!

Amazing views of Frigiliana and beyond. Very comfortable villa which is exceptionally clean. Ana is very helpful and friendly. Can’t fault anything! Oh yes, if you book Casa Ana, take some binoculars with you!!

Heerlijke oase van rust in Frigliana

Heerlijke villa gelegen in (letterlijk) toplocatie in Frigliana. Hoog boven in het dorp met de reuring van het dorp dicht bij en toch in alle rust. Eigen parkeerplaats waardoor altijd plek om te parkeren (tip: zorg dat je een niet al te grote auto hebt). Villa is van binnen en buiten heel verzorgd: er is enorm veel aandacht en liefde aan besteedt. Villa is niet groot, wij waren met z'n tweeën en hadden echter meer dan genoeg ruimte. Twee slaapkamers waarvan een met een tweepersoonsbed en een met twee bedden. Een badkamer, goed verzorgde, schone, keuken en woonkamer met twee banken. Zeer vriendelijke Ana stond ons op het afgesproken tijdstip op te wachten en alles was goed geregeld. Top plek in Frigliana!

Wonderful choice for Frigiliana

This is our second time staying at Ana's beautiful house--VRBOers should know that means it has your highest vote. Why? The town is among the best we’ve ever visited. Ana’s house has the best views I’ve ever experienced, and yet you are a five minute walk into town. The outside areas are amazing; the front deck; the side deck; the lounge area over by the citrus trees. We’ve just stayed at Christmastimes, so can only imagine how wonderful it would be in warmer weather. Ana is a fantastic, friendly host. Our family of four loves her place.

Just amazing !

We stayed for 5 perfect days in November. Ana was particularly helpful & friendly. The house was very comfortable & immaculately clean. The views from the house are just spectacular ! Echo earlier comments about the road & parking - it's quite steep & would definately recommend a smaller car but it's worth it for the 1st class views & parking in the town is rare so it's very helpful to have parking. Thanks again Ana, we will hopefully be back !

We didn't want to leave!

We couldn't have chosen a better property. We loved sitting on the sunny verandah overlooking the village and surrounding hills. The villa was spotless and had everything you could possibly need. It was great to be able to walk down into Frigiliana to the restaurants and shops. Ana is lovely and responds to messages very quickly. I would recommend Ana's villa as a lovely place to stay and a home from home.

High quality property in a fabulous location with stunning views, lovely garden and very kind host.

One of the best rental properties we've stayed in! The location is fantastic, being only a 3 minute stroll down the hill into picturesque Frigiliana old town and all that has to offer, yet high enough up on the hill to be quiet and secluded. The house was spotlessly clean, very charming and has been lovingly created with everything one needs for a relaxing holiday - the pool with a view and lovely garden were the icing on the cake. The steep and narrow access road was a little unnerving on day one but soon got the hang of it. The parking access is pretty tight, as you would expect for Frigiliana old town, so if you're hiring a car recommend getting a small one. Ana was a really kind and helpful host and made our stay even more memorable. Can't think of any negatives as everything was just great. We hope to be back soon!

Great Location!

We were a couple staying at this cosy villa for a week. It was a great experience. Just some few minutes and you are in the middle of the beautiful old part of Frigiliana. There is a good diversity of restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance. Although the road to the villa need some exercise before it is a comfortable driving, it is a big plus that there is a dedicated parking inside the gate of the villa. Staying along the public road seemed stressful, as it was full of parked cars almost all the time of the day. The villa itself is not very huge, but since it was just two of us, the size was perfect. Two adults and two kids will also function. The terrace is small but very cosy and the garden is very green and nice. Ana is using a lot of time watering the trees in the garden. We tried to come to the villa every day before sunset to sit down with some refreshments to enjoy the unique view and the sunset. The small pool was nice for cooling after a walk up to El Fuerte. There are many hiking opportunities in the area. Ana is living in Frigiliana just some minutes away and was always available if there was something we were wondering about. We loved the villa, Frigiliana town, the surroundings, Ana the host and will definitely come back another time when it is possible.

Sun, views and location!

If you love Frigiliana as we do and you want to stay in a lovely villa in the sunshine, have panoramic views of Frigiliana, the sea and the mountains, be able to walk into Frigiliana to eat each evening, have car parking on site (the mountain road up to the villa and the parking space are easily done), then this is the villa for you. Great communication with Ana before and during stay. We loved it here. Highly recommended. Thank you Ana. We finally got to meet you after 3 years and thoroughly enjoyed our 9 days at your villa. We will be back!

A villa with a stunning view above Frigiliana. Walking distance to superb restaurants.

We had a wonderful time, the villa provided everything we wanted. It was extremely comfortable, well equipped and the owner, Anna provided all the information that was required. Ideal place to start walks and the car access, though narrow, is a great bonus if you wish to stay in Frigiliana.

Wonderful scenic views to village, mountains & sea

Great location for access to mountains & top-end of the village. Beautiful gardens surrounding the villa. The walk back from the bottom part of Frigiliana is an experience & will test even the fittest. Would recommend hiring a car if old or infirm. Overall a pleasant spot for chilling out. Beautiful villa with views to die for!

Having been to Frigiliana many times before and stayed in some wonderful properties, we found it hard to believe that we have never seen this villa before. It is absolutely fabulous! The views are out of this world with commanding views to the olive grove ridges, the mountains, whilst overlooking the whole of Frigiliana, and finally Nerja and the sea in the far distance. But, 'to get the best views you have to climb the highest mountain', as they say, and this entails driving straight through and past the village, up a mountain road and then down to the car space which sits almost on top of the villa roof! As I, personally, am not good with heights, we chose to empty the car of its luggage and took the car back down to the main road, where it remained parked (for free) for the next ten days. It is only a 15 minute meander back up to the villa, and we chose to buy daily shopping at the local tiny shops on the way up. It does take a day or two to stop your heart beating through ones chest but at the end of the holiday we were climbing through the village like a couple of seasoned Sherpas!! The villa itself really is beautiful, very clean, and has lots of terrace space to soak up the sun. Some days we chose not to leave the terrace but just chilled out and soaked up the sun and atmosphere.... It seemed a no-brainier not to use all the facilities the villa offered!! It was unfortunate that the Internet wasn't working, and Ana, the owner, did everything she could to make it work but it really was a technical issue. We just read more books instead, and took advantage of the wifi restaurants in the evening. Only a couple of niggles really.... There was no kettle, which seemed strange. Also, as there is no air-conditioning, it would have been nice to have had a fan just to cool things down a bit, especially in the bedroom at night..... the weather, thankfully, was very, very warm during our stay! Oh, and a little microwave oven would have been handy too. Would we use the villa again? We would be back next week if we could!!!! Paul and Jo
