While the property has potential, our stay did not meet expectations given the premium price. First of all, the location of the property is absolutely perfect. Very close to all of the attractions. Now for the issues we came across during our stay. When we arrived, we found multiple snapping mouse traps openly placed in the lower living area. This was concerning, especially since our group included several young children, including a two-year-old.We also ran into several cleanliness issues. Some beds had sheets or covers with noticeable odors, a beetle was found under the covers in the upstairs master bedroom, and one set of sheets had a significant amount of sand on it. Issues with the sheets weren’t discovered until late in the evening when guests were getting ready for bed, which resulted in us doing laundry until around 2:00 a.m. on our first night. Additionally, some doors did not latch properly, including the master bathroom and a few bedrooms, which caused privacy issues.On a positive note, the host was responsive and helpful on Christmas Day, sending both a maintenance worker and a cleaner to address the issues. We greatly appreciated the quick response and effort to make things right.
