There are also plenty of sporting activities close by including the Tarka Trail, a choice of five local golf courses, as well as fishing, riding and walking. Here you are perfectly placed to explore the whole of Devon and also parts of Somerset too.

Jump aboard one of the pleasure boat cruises that depart from the harbour and take in this beautiful coastline, or even take a day trip to the wildlife haven of Lundy Island.
For those who want to explore a bit further afield, the surrounding area is rich in attractions and places of interest, including Lynton and Lynmouth, Heddons Mouth, the picturesque coastal surfing village of Woolacombe, which boasts a 3-mile long, golden sandy beach and the spectacular beaches at Saunton Sands and Croyde.
