Excellent stay

A fantastic property with fantastic views of the coastline. The host was extremely good with communicating information and even informed us that we were able to check in early. Would definitely stay again if visiting the area.

Amazing apartment with an amazing view.

From start to finish we couldn’t have asked for more, with the beautiful apartment, welcome bottle of wine, and modern fresh setting for our christmas break. Loads of local bars and restaurants and fantastic cliff walks a short distance away made for our perfect getaway to Devon.

Truly spectacular!

A really magnificent place to spend a week! High above the cliffs, long views into almost every direction, the constant sound of seagulls and breaking waves… Including the sight of a seagull, directly from the apartment! And a great base for exploring the coast, the Exmoor etc… Highly recommendable!!!

We have stayed in many holiday apartments, this one tops them all. Views are amazing from each of the 3 balconies. Apartment has everything you need & spotlessly clean. Good location with easy walk into town. Will definitely be back.

Lovely apartment with stunning views, location and facilities. Great info on gaining access to property. Perfect for 4 adults but would benefit from another armchair or two as struggled with the bean bags.

Lovely apartment in a great location

Whole family loved their stay in this apartment. Stunning views all round, with everything you need. Good comms with host. Could really do with some black out blinds - that would have made it perfect. We'll be back if we can - especially if blinds get sourced.

Beautiful apartment, great views

Everything was excellent. Located on a hill, the third floor balconies gave great views in three directions. Everything seemed to be brand new in the apartment which is beautifully furnished. It’s located within walking distance of attractions and restaurants, and the coastal path.

Amazing location

It was very easy to access the apartment with detailed instructions and photos. It is located in a former hotel and accessed by lift or stairs. The apartment is very well laid out and very spacious. It was very cosy, especially as the wind was very strong during our stay. The views across the bay and the town are amazing. Who knew Ilfracombe was so charming!! It is a steep walk up from the town but very manageable. We found good restaurants and loved the coast path. Thank you for letting us stay.

What a find! The views were amazing and having three balconies meant you could chase the sun all day! The apartment is so well equipped, Diane has thought of everything. It’s definitely one of the best places we’ve stayed and would highly recommend.

Really stylish and comfortable apartment with absolutely amazing views from every room! Truly awesome, you couldn’t not love it. All the mod cons with a high end finish. Granville Place - the Place to Go and Enjoy!

The best holiday apartment we have ever had either in the UK or on the Continent. Beautifully furnished and decorated. Diane obviously loves this home. It was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The gated car park is a bonus as parking in the village can be difficult. The views from every room and balcony were beyond exceptional and particularly at night the village lights slip into the sea like the Amalfi Coast - honestly! Ilfracombe is a very friendly town and a well organised base from which to explore North Devon. We will certainly book this apartment again.

Great apartment. Fantastic views.

Lovely light, spacious living area (open plan kitchen, dining, lounge and snug) with lots of windows overlooking the sea, cliffs and whole of town. We were lucky to have enjoyed a hot and sunny week to really appreciate the two balconies in the main living space, plus balcony space off both bedrooms. Kitchen was really well kitted out. More equipment and items than found in most holiday accommodation which meant we really did have the choice to eat in or out depending on how we were feeling. Useful to have a well-equipped utility room with washer/dryer etc. too. Great to have parking (plus the added security of it being gated) and the whole building had a good feel to it. Arrival instructions were excellent which made checking in easy, plus quick, easy and friendly communication with Diane, the host at all times. Only reason we’ve dropped one star was that we found the ensuite a bit on the small side, especially the shower cubicle (we’re not too large ourselves). And my Mum, in the second bedroom, needed to come in to use this too as it wasn’t a full shower over the bath in the other bathroom. She also would have liked a bedroom window to open for ventilation overnight as she didn’t want to leave the balcony door open all night (which might be a consideration for families with children too?). Only little things, and they are personal preferences. They certainly wouldn’t stop us going back again…everything else was perfect!

Amazing Place

The views are fantastic and the main room is so airy, light and big. Whilst we did explore the town we also spent a lot of time in the apartment. We were mesmerised by the views and kept moving from window to window and balcony to balcony to admire the views (and sunbathe in late Sept-brill). Also loved watching the DVD's Frozen, Lion King and Beethoven. Well we are young at heart. This has set the standard for future holiday lets but not sure how we will be able to match or surpass it. Thanks Diane for letting us share your amazing property,
