Host (management service) was very available and helpful. Unfortunately the pool construction was delayed (not their fault) but hosts were quick to reach out with a partial refund. Place was clean and just as described. Note this part of the island is much quieter then Georgetown, however the drive is about an hour from airport and Seven Mile beach so you will definitely need a car

We had an excellent vacation in Cayman. I wholeheartedly recommend Kaibo Yacht club as a destination. Our particular unit was clean, modern, and spacious. No complaints whatsoever.

Off season

What a great property in a peaceful setting. We stayed during the off season (late September) so some amenities were closed, but we nearly had the place to ourselves. It was a great time and we would love to stay again.

Good location, nice place

The condo was as expected, clean and convenient location the pool and to go to Kaibo(wood fired pizza on the beach). Short walk to starfish point. One issue in the evening and the manager was there in 10 minutes to take care of it(impressive).

The condo itself was absolutely beautiful. Directly by the pool and a short distance to the restaurant. It was absolutely clean and had everything that we needed. I would absolutely recommend this condo! I will definitely be coming back to this place. The property manager was extremely nice.!

We enjoyed our stay and were happy we decided on the North Side/ Rum Point neighborhood. The beach in front of the condo isn’t the best, but works for a quick dip. Having Starfish Point and the beach at Rum Point so close was great. Plus it was nice to have the Kaibo Beach Club just next store, though you definitely need a car here. The condo was very nice and we felt safe and comfortable.

Beautiful condo, great location, well equipped with lots of extras! Steps from the beach and pool, and the Kaibo coffee shop, bar, and restaurant were just a 2 minute walk down the beach. My kids are already asking when we can go back!

Tremendous Beach Front Unit

We really enjoyed our time here! We have stayed at another unit on this same property so we were familiar with the location and amenities. This unit is right by the pool and the hot tub which made for fun evenings as we cooked dinner. It felt like our own personal pool! I would definitely stay at this location/unit again.

Great place, recently updated

We loved this condo. 2 couples, lot of visits to the Caribbean, first time to Grand Cayman. We really enjoyed Kaibo. Good restaurant next door, directly on the sand. Even better restaurant down a mile at Rum Point. We took a round trip on the water ferry to Camana Bay and 7 Mile Beach. Enjoyed that day but found the north side of the island to be more relaxing and enjoyable. The condo itself is well done and recently updated, exactly as advertised.

Perfect Oasis

The condo was perfectly situated for relaxation. A pool, hot tub, beach, beautiful waters, Kaibo restaurant and coffee shop all within steps from my back door! We enjoyed beautiful morning sunrises with coffee every morning. The condo was nicely equipped, clean and comfortable for two couples to enjoy. Our host, Judy, even checked on us to ensure we were settled and had all that we needed. Also, we were conveniently located near some restaurants and other attractions as well.

Great stay!

My husband and I had a lovely stay at this charming condo. It’s spacious and equipped with everything we could have possibly needed. The water and pool were steps away, and there were more starfish in the water near the condo than at Starfish Point a close walk away. Great stay, would return! We took the water taxi over to Camana Bay one day and that was fun and an easy way to get to and back from 7 mile beach without a long drive. Definitely need a car but the chill vibe was just what I wanted. Thanks!

February 2020 Stay

thanks for a lovely stay. The unit was very clean, well stocked with supplies including extra towels, washer/dryer, outdoor furniture, snorkeling gear and a full kitchen. The Kaibo yacht club is very close with delicious food and drink. During the day we also enjoyed the coffee/sandwich shop. People were lovely, especially Judy our property manager. Beware of airport taxis who ripped us off on way to the unit!

Perfect stay

Immaculate place. Had everything needed- toiletries, hair dryer, beach toys. Couple minute walk to coffee shop and dock where we took the stingray and bio tours with white sands water sports. 2 minute drive to starfish point, although we saw more starfish out front of our condo. Don’t pick the starfish up out of the water- they will die!! Chisholm grocery store less than 10 mins down the road and it was open shortened hours on Sunday. Can’t really swim in the water outside the condo but a mile down the road there was a nice little beach at rum point. Would absolutely stay at this place again.

Great location, perfect size and amentities

We stayed the 2nd part of our week in Cayman at the Kaibo Yacht Club #9 an it was perfect. The location was perfect for our family - have the screened porch overlooking the pool and the beach, and our family could very easily walk over to the Kaibo Yacht club for food, corn hole, ping pong or relax in their hammocks and chairs. The rentals from Sweet Spot were that close too. We had a car so made an easy 2 min drive to Rum Point many days. We also loved exploring the north and east end easily from our condo (Tukka was my favorite stop). Inside the condo, the place was clean, the kitchen was great to have, as was the washer and dryer. The beds were vere comfortable, including the pull-out couch! It was nice to have supplies like laundry detergent, paper towels, hand soaps, etc. available. We would definitely return!

Quiet North Side

Kaibo Yacht Club #9C was a fabulous condo. Great views, 1st floor with direct beach access. The condo was huge for a 2 bed/2 bath. The kitchen had all the comforts of home with appliances, utensils, great shape cookware. Well supplied beach gear , books and games. Discount coupons to local activities and restaurants were a nice treat too. The master suite was very comfortable. The screened in patio facing the pool and ocean was wonderful when we had a few minutes of liquid sunshine. We saw more Starfish at our beach than there were at the public Starfish beach down the road. Counted 40 one morning. We have rented condos in Cayman several times. This was by far, the nicest and most well stocked condo that I have stayed in. The rental arrangements were very streamlined. Having the restaurants right there were handy as we arrived on a Sunday and grocery stores are not open. The on site water taxi was a convenient way to explore Camana Bay. Beach was on the smaller side but plenty of chairs and loungers for sun and shade. Hot tub was nice for the cooler nights and star gazing. Thank you for allowing us to use your beach home.

9C Kaibo YC

Condo was very clean and had most everything we needed. We loved the screened in porch and being able to walk right out our door and be on the beach- perfect for watching sunrise with a cup of coffee and relaxing at the end of the day with a glass of wine. The pool and hot tub were nice, but after a day of kids they were murky and not appealing. I would not call the beach out in front of the condo truly swimmable. You need water shoes to get into the water as it’s very rocky here. It also has a lot of grass just past the entrance area and because you are in a marina there are boats coming and going. There is however, a small sandy beach in front of the yacht club - very close. We drove to different beaches throughout our stay. It would have been nice to have some folding outdoor chairs and an umbrella to take with us to other beaches. It was a nice quiet end of the island. Starfish Point - walking distance with a sandy beach but everyone was getting stung by jellyfish- apparently this is an area they tend to be. We did get over to Rum Point they had a nice beach area and you could use their chairs and umbrellas. They also have a very nice outdoor bar and outdoor indoor restaurant and we found the food very good. Because it was spring break time the place became very quickly overcrowded and we chose to try and find other beaches. I think other times of the year probably it would be a little less crowded and more enjoyable. Over all a nice clean and safe complex to stay at.
