Increíble casa de piedra en el corazón de la isla de Hvar. En el tranquilo pueblo de Vrisnik con un entorno impresionante. Capaz de alojar a 8 + 2 personas con dos terrazas soleadas, piscina (6mx4mx140cm) y chimenea interior y exterior. Todas las habitaciones tienen aire acondicionado. La casa de piedra villa "Ambroz" está hecha por mi familia con mucho amor y estamos allí para hacer que sus vacaciones sean inolvidables. Un lugar perfecto para relajarse y disfrutar en la piscina privada con abundante sol con tus amigos y familia. Si desea más aventuras tipo de vacaciones, este es un gran lugar para practicar senderismo, ciclismo, piragüismo, excursiones y paseos en barco, todo acompañado por nuestros guías locales. La desventaja del pueblo es que no hay ninguna tienda (a 4 km). Hay un encantador restaurante "U Smokve" ubicado en la ciudad de Jelsa (a 4 km de la casa) que ofrece un 25% de descuento en el monto total. Además, en nuestra casa, tendrá una experiencia única para disfrutar en productos naturales hechos en casa como el vino, el aceite de oliva, los diferentes tipos de grapas y todo tipo de frutas y verduras de temporada que proporcionamos.

Excellent verblijf

Het huis is prachtig: bijzonder sfeervol, uitmuntend onderhouden, met een prachtig uitzicht, heerlijk zwembad en patio met buitengrill en dergelijke voor gezellige avonden. Er zit veel liefde in het huis. WIj hadden een heerlijke tijd met ons gezin met 4 (tiener)kinderen. Een auto is een must, het huis ligt in Vrisnik, een rustig dorpje in het hart van Hvar. Perfecte uitvalsbasis voor het bezoeken van prachtige stranden, Hvar stad, boot huren, en volop te genieten van al het andere moois van Hvar. Het beste restaurant van Hvar ligt in Vrisnik, 2 minuten lopen van het huis. Een absolute aanrader om daar te gaan eten.

Amazing town with lovely host

This town is one of the most picturesque places we have ever been to. It's perched on a hill (don't bring a big car all the way to the house) and has two amazing restaurants, a church, a little graveyard, and vineyards. The outside area of the stone house is perfect, with two terraces, an easy to use bbq, and a pool with toys. The town of Jelsa is about 7 minutes away with a great market (but be ready for serious sticker shock -prices on Hvar are ridiculous). The host was great and always willing to help. Generous with wine and coffee and other amenities to make it as comfortable as possible. The only complaints were the 2 rooms without air conditioning got very hot and the bed in the main bedroom was not very comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great place, great stay

Really enjoyed our stay. Lots of amenities, and a great pool. Beautiful view. Mario and Rajka were very friendly and accommodating. Everything was smooth and easy.

Un petit paradis

La Maison est située dans un petit village dans les hauteurs de l île de Hvar . Voiture nécessaire. Attention pour se garer, il n est pas possible de monter jusqu'à la maison avec un van. A 20 min de voiture de Jelsa, 25 min de Stari Grad et 40 min de Hvar. Au centre de l île, ce qui permet de rayonner dans la totalité de l île commerces à 20 min en voiture. Super restaurant à 5 minutes de voiture. L île de Hvar est magnifique L accueil des propriétaires est chaleureux. Des fruits, pomme de terre et vins locaux à l arrivée. Climatisation dans 3 chambres sur 4. 2 salle de douches/WC. Vue magnifique. Depuis la piscine . 2 terrasses ombragée très agréables. Tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner est disponible/ barbecue . Bref une belle halte dans notre road trip croate . Nous recommandons.

Love this place

The owners were so helpful in recommending places to go to give us the inside track and avoid the tourists. They were so charming and hospitable. The house was spotless and very homely. It is such a happy house.

Beautiful place & superb host

This was a great stay - villa met all our expectations even exceeded in some aspects (air con almost in every room & full fridge with local food on the arrival). Contact with Mario (host/owner) was great from the moment we clicked "book" on Vrbo. He was very responsive providing answers to all our questions (how to get to the place/where to buy local foods etc). Overall great experience & I would truly recommend the place!!

Outstanding!

We were two families traveling together. The house was perfect! Hosts were warm and welcoming. We enjoyed the beautiful rural setting and just 30 minutes to Hvar Town. The views are stunning and the pool was terrific. The outdoor restaurant in town was a highlight as well. We stayed 3 nights and wished we had stayed longer. The house was comfortable, clean and well outfitted. We would highly recommend this property for families.

Exceptional experience in Croatia

I loVilla Ambroz offers a true retreat while vacationing in Croatia. The house is clean and offers multiple outdoor living spaces. The views are spectacular and the location perfect for truly exploring "island life". Our hosts provided wine (multiple bottles) upon our arrival and offered great recommendations for activities and restaurants in the area. I look forward to returning to the resort "Villa Ambroz".

This Vila is situated in such beautiful surroundings. It is so peaceful and just breathtakingly stunning. The villa itself is great and just what you need. The rooms are all quite small but that doesn’t matter as the outside space is more than enough. There are two terrace areas and a separate pool area. We went with two sets of in-laws, a baby and a toddler so 8 of us in total and we did not feel we were cramped. Our only issue was that the weather was not great which meant we spent more time indoors than what we would have liked but the villa is perfect with a separate games/playroom and the children loved that. The local restaurant Konoba Vrisnik is lovely and the food is delicious. All just lovely and we would love to come back. Mario was welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend

Fantastic Holiday

We stayed here as a family of 6. We was greeted by Rajka who took us to the villa and helped recommend some good places to visit. We found the villa perfect for us with a well equipped kitchen, plenty of towels and generally very clean. The view from this villa is simply outstanding coming from the city we really appreciated the remote location. We did find the local shop a bit limited so bought our groceries from Jelsa or Vrboska. I would recommend hiring a car as this makes travelling the island easier. Rajka and family brought us homemade red wine and a huge bowl of grapes! We also visited the family restaurant ‘U Smokve’ twice as it was so delicious! We had some problems with our flight and Mario and Rajka luckily let us stay another night which was very kind of them. Very welcoming family and Thank you for a holiday to remember!

Magiskt!

Fotona på webb-sidan gör inte huset och platsen rättvisa. Det är så mycket vackrare! Omgivningarna är magiskt vackra! Huset är välbyggt och rymligt för 8 vuxna + 1 barn. Allt är rent och fräscht! Vi uppskattade stenterasserna och poolen mycket. Poolen har en trappa i hörnet vilket var bra för vår 4-åring. På kvällarna gav även lampskenet i poolen olika färger. Vi njöt även av matplatsen under vinrankorna. Svalt och skönt att sitta där och äta. Hyresvärden är vänlig och tillmötesgående. Det är lätt att ta sig med bil till olika fantastiska stränder (ca 10-20 min) och även till kringliggande små byar och städer. Vi är så nöjda med huset och kan tänka oss att komma tillbaka. Huset har tre våningar och på översta våningen finns luftkonditionering som fungerade bra. För att få lite kyla till andra våningen där det finns tre sovrum, så måste skjutdörren stå öppen. Det blir varmt när man ska sova trots att man stänger luckor och fönster på dagarna. Det är en tyst och lugn plats, så skönt för själen. Vi kan verkligen rekommendera detta hus till andra hyresgäster. Den enda nackdelen var sängarna på 3:e våningen + våningssängarna på 2:a våningen. Det skulle behövas 3-4 cm bäddmadrass uppe på sängarna eftersom man känner fjädrarna mycket väl när man ligger, vilket inte är bekvämt.

Bella villa spaziosa in un piccolo villaggio a ca 5 minuti da Jelsa. Suggestiva la vista che si ammira dalla piscina. Unico neo: l'aria condizionata dovrebbe essere presente in tutte le camere, invece è solo in mansarda.

Ideal family house in amazing countryside

The villa was very well catered and homely, the only thing we missed were a kettle and more air conditioning! The village people were so friendly and welcoming, bringing us fresh figs, almonds and homemade wine! We loved the pool and BBQ area and the proximity to Jelsa was just right. Would highly recommend to all our friends and family.

Sehr schönes Haus mit ruhiger Lage

Wer einen Ort zum entspannen sucht ist hier genau richtig. Das Haus ist voll ausgestattet mit pool, Grill und mehr. Haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und zum Meer war es auch nicht weit. Besonders gefiel mir die Gastfreundschaft der Leute auf der Insel und des Gastgebers! Würde auch sechs Sterne geben wenn möglich nur zum weiter empfehlen!

We felt really welcome, great hospitality. The house was clean and comfortable and the region around is beautiful and very peaceful.We had enough place for 4 adults + 4 kids. The house has a very beautiful view of the mountains. BBQ, terrace and the pool are fantastic. Mario and his family were very friendly + helpful. Thanks for the fresh tomatoes,the wine and all the other vegetables . The restaurant downside is also really good and we enjoyed it much (5 min. from house away with car...:-)) Jelsa is not far away and to take a breakfast there in the morning is also nice. A must to do is also Hvar. We appreciate our trip a lot.

Wonderful traditional house and views

We had a fantastic stay in this lovely house. The welcome was very warm, the wine flowed too freely!!! Wonderful walking is to be found in the mountains and we also loved swimming off the rocks. Highly recommended :)

Nice house in a quiet neigbourhood

We (two families-6 adults and 4 children) stayed at the house for one week. The house is very nice, well planned and clean. The service of Rajka and Mario was very good. The view over the valley is beautiful. We liked the three terraces of the house with the barbecue area, pool area and sun terrace. Its also good that there is a bakery in the village and also a very good restaurant. The drawback is that there is no shop. The house is good located to reach different parts of Hvar. The drawback is that you need a car to reach the beach or other villages. We can recommend this house for rent. /Families Andersson & Lundqvist

Quietness in Vrinisk !

The house is very nice and it was very clean and well-maintained : it has a splendid view on the countryside and the village is very quiet and lovely. The owners are friendly and provide us good customer service. We spent two nice weeks at this property however the listing description is not accurate regarding the location : there is no WI FI in the house and my children had to go near the neighbour's house to be connected to internet ( with the agreement of the owner of course ) and only one bedroom has got air conditioned, the three others are not so lucky as the nights are quite hot ... Anyway these disagreements didn't affect too much our stay and we will recommend this property to a friend.

Wonderful house with stunning views

Everything was as we had hoped. The house was very clean and comfortable and the village is beautiful and peaceful. Although we had 10 people, 5 adults, 2 teenagers and 3 children, the house suited us perfectly. The children lived in upstairs, the adults on the middle floor and the ground floor was the kitchen and living area. The house has beautiful views down the valley and it was wonderful to sit in the evening on the terrace where we barbequed and ate. Of course, the swimming pool was the best for children , pool was a good size and amazing view. The owner and her son were really helpful and friendly, we received a lot of help planning our week on vacation, car rental, boat rental, etc.. Village is very beautiful and peaceful, the people were very friendly. The village has a great restaurant and bakery. We picked up from the bakery in the morning with warm bread and chocolate donuts. The village was easy to explore the island of Hvar, we went to many wonderful beaches all over the island. In Jelsa we went to the grocery store, which is about 3 km away. We were really pleased with the house and the village, We enjoyed our stay and we felt welcome.
