The apartment is lovely and well appointed and maintained. Very French and we loved it.Years ago when I visited, the neighborhood was beautiful and safe.Daytime hours were great but as the night went on it became somewhat less desirable.

Small and cozy

Convenient location for center of Paris attractions and close proximity to train station. A bit noisy at night, but balanced by access to restaurants and bars near by. Clear instructions to turn on lights in stairs would be very helpful. The elevator is incredibly small and requires several trips to get luggage up to 4 floor apartment

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. When we checked in, they gave us the wrong key in the lockbox. We called the number of the office provided that was supposed to be open until 8pm but noone answered. We can to call the after hours and even then, they were clueless. Finally someone told us that there's an extra key to the other lockbox. We finally got in after about an hour. The property lobby and stairs very dangerous as it's not well lighted. It's very dark and crickety. They knew there were 6 of us but only had towels for 4. The sheets on the sofabed in one of the rooms are not fresh. It looked like someone slept there already. There are no sheets nor pillows for the other sofa bed. The wifi password was not provided untile the i contacted the emergency number again at 10pm that night. There are holes on the flooring. I understamd this is a historic building but that could have been fixed. We had to unclog two of the sinks ourselves because nobody was replying to our emails and calls. Two of the 3 fans were not working. One fan has missing/broken blade. The other just makes loud noises when you turn it on. All these were communicated by email multiple times. Noone replied. Ghe following day, I finally got a missed call and when I called them back, they told me to open the door. No apologies, no setting up the time before hand, nothing. They just expected us to be there and be ready so they can fix whatever they need to fix or do whatever they need to do.

Wonderful location but inaccurate bathroom description

Hi, the location of this property is wonderful. It was very clean. However, our check in instructions stated that we should look for the green door on the street but the door is actually bright blue. The biggest problem was that this property description states that there are 2 and 1/2 bathrooms. The bathrooms description clearly states that there are 3 toilets. However, there is actually NO toilet in the primary bedroom’s attached bath. It only has a hand held shower/tub and a sink. With 5 people staying it was inconvenient.

Great Location

Nice apartment. On the small side but to be expected in the area. It has everything you need. Elevator is small but can still fit large suitcases and even our stroller when folded up. Some street noise if the windows are open but easy to sleep when they are closed.

Small and noisy floor apartment

This was a really small apartment with smelly rooms from restaurants nearby. Entrance lobby and stairs need some remodeling.

The property was fantastic and ideally located close to the Louvre and many other popular attractions. The area around the apartment also had many shops and restaurants, however the apartment was well insulated and we didn’t even notice the noise from all the activity outside. The checkin instructions were very precise and Merveil was very quick to respond to any of our inquiries. My only regret is that it was a short trip and we didn’t have more time to enjoy the property and Paris! I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay in Paris.

Perfect location, beautiful and comfortable historic apartment

Our family with kids loved our stay in Paris at this conveniently located and safe apartment. It is well laid out and comfortable for our family of 4. It is an old building with updated and historic touches throughout the apartment. 2 toilets and 2 showers/baths, 3 sinks very convenient. The kitchen is amazingly well equipped. The apartment was beautifully clean. The location is bustling but the beautiful windows keep out the noise when closed. The internet and TVs work well. Merveil checked on us carefully and offered support throughout our stay (although we didn’t need it.) Cost-wise, it comparable to a 4-star large-room hotel, but so much more comfortable for a family. Especially helpful when jet lag keeps various family members from sleeping well through the night. Thank you Merveil for the courtesy and wonderful stay!

Surrounded by a Cultural and Art museum created and called by one of our french president : George Pompidou, 5 minutes walking distance from the Louvre museum housing the Mona Lisa overlooks the Tuileries Garden, and 10 minutes from Notre Dame de Paris, with plenty of lovely brasseries, bars and Jazz bars, you will find everything you need.

At day time cross the street, and visit the city’s oldest existing neighborhood : Le Marais. Have a walk back and enjoy a moment of shopping, before to admire the view from the river seine, where Notre Dame de Paris, is getting rebuilt.
