Sligo Sea Barn is the ideal place for a family reunion, friend get-away, milestone celebration or golf/beach holiday. Mary and Desmond are warm and welcoming hosts; available for any questions. There won’t be any questions as the Digital Guestbook is brilliant and complete—has all the information needed about the house, appliances and the local attractions to make your stay seamlessly easy. The house is beautifully appointed affording both privacy and comfortable common areas. There are several outside areas to enjoy morning coffee or an afternoon wine. The linens are top quality – the house feels like a 5-star hotel. Beaches, golf courses and walks and hikes of all levels through breathtaking scenery are all super close and convenient. Sligo, Strandhill and Rosses Point have excellent restaurants. Our family of 10 enjoyed a relaxing, fun-filled week. The views from the house are gorgeous at all times of the day and the beach is a short walk away. The children especially loved the cows in the fields and Desmond’s huge green John Deere tractor. There was so much to do and see that not once did the children ask for TV, phones or video games. We whole heartily recommend the Sligo Sea Barn!

Beyond Expectations

This was the perfect place to start our trip to Ireland. Not only is the property perfect the hosts are also the nicest couple we met the whole vacation. I wish I could take another walk on that beach right now. Thanks Des & Mary for everything. Is é do poitin an chuid is fearr!

Amazing property - Ballinful

The Sea Barn in Ballinful was absolutely stunning. The house and property are gorgeous and so comfortable. The views can't be beat. The house itself was fully stocked with everything we needed and more. The hosts were so kind and welcoming and made us feel like family. I cannot say enough great things about this property. If you are traveling anywhere close to this location, you MUST stay here. You won't regret it!

MCGROARTY Family vacation

The Sligo Sea Barn exceeded our expectations with its spacious, picturesque and accommodating location. It was perfect for our large group gathering with its beautiful newly renovated home. It was extremely clean and well equipped with everything we needed. We cannot say enough about our hosts Mary and Des! They went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Their sincere and gracious hospitality was unmatched. There was a wonderful walking trail nearby with beautiful views and its beach front was great for morning walks. We would highly recommend for those looking for a very peaceful and beautiful Sligo home away from home !

We really enjoyed our time at the Sligo Sea Barn. Fantastic spot! Very well done accommodations with the warmest, most welcoming hosts, Mary & Des. We hope to be back! :)

Amazing Property

We rented this for a night only for a get together. We all wished we had booked for longer. The house is fantastic,it is so comfortable and spacious and so well kitted out. Mary,Des and family were all very welcoming and so helpful. The location is fantastic,perfect for a spot of sea swimming. Highly recommend this property.
