Excellent location for exploring Ocho Rios!

The condo was clean and comfortable with easy access to the beach! Pool was kept clean and is big! Lots of restaurants to get food and close to tour spots too! Kenta was an amazing host and the housekeeper was very helpful and friendly!

It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, it was definitely safe. It was placed where you can get to a lot of places. The only thing is I never could get the shower right. It was cool it was hot and at that point I didn't care. Overall it did what did for me. Provide a safe comfy location

Great Location

Fantastic location, we recommend to hire a car and do your own thing. A really great way to feel part of the local culture. It was great to have a kitchen and make our own breakfast and some lunches to save money. As all the attractions are quite expensive.

Perfect location in Ocho Rios

Perfect location in Ocho Rios. 3 minute walk to the beach with free passes daily. Right across the street from a shopping center and Margaritaville restaurant and beach. 5-10 minutes from all the major attractions in Ocho Rios. Now for the less than perfect: never received clean towels or cleaning, lots of ants, and very slick floor which resulted in one guest falling and ending up in urgent care with a split lip. But all in all a great location and very pleasant experience

Birthday stay

The apartment look just like what it shows online. I just hate if one person heading out you have to take the key which control the AC so you basically have to suffer in the heat. The apartment was clean and close to everything. You get free access to the beach.

We loved it!

We loved it. We are your standard American middle class family of four (kids 13 & 11) and it was great for us. Nice having the large space (i.e. living room/kitchen/patio) as opposed to a resort room. Great public beach and right next door to Ocho Rios Island Village. We cooked a lot to save some $ and it provided all the cooking utensils. The building itself is dated but its not sketchy or anything like that. Felt safe the while time. The owner and housekeeper are great, quick to respond if theres any issues. We would stay here again.

The price is fairly priced given the location and the condition of the property. With that said there are 2 things I think viewers need to be aware of regarding this property:1) There is no TV in either of the bedrooms.2) Each wall mounted AC unit is controlled by motion detector. As a result, if you leave the property with the AC running and go to the beach for the day you will return to a very hot apartment. Furthermore, while you are in the property with all the units running you will need to get up about ever 10 minutes and go into each room and wave your hands to keep the units running. The living room is an exception. For the living room, if you are in the room watching a movie and you sit still for too long the AC unit will shut down.

Our stay at Kenita's Lovely Condo was wonderful.. So very clean & shiny ! Check in went very smoothly and check out as well. Her place is nice and cozy and we felt very comfortable there. The best was the communication with pleasant Kenita ( before our journey there she called me from England to reconfirm things with the reservation and during our stay we heard from her as well :) Such a good location.. beach right there, pool right there, places to eat & drink, night life, grocery store, rides, etc... All Good!! Thank you, we had an awesome time.. Hope to be back !! Cheers :) Cheryl, Rebecca & Aven / Winnipeg-Canada

Great Ochie vacation!

Of all things, we most liked the location of this condo. It was close to the beach, the market and restaurants. There was a nice view of the Sea out of the guest bedroom window. We had all of the amenities that we needed, especially in the kitchenette, and the WiFi was very nice to have as well. While the building was a bit old and "tired", the condo itself was is very good shape. Security was comforting and helpful with questions, and we felt safe at all times. Kenita was very nice to work with and responded very promptly to all of our inquiries. Overall, we strongly recommend this apartment. Activities we recommend: Mystic Mountain, Irie Blue Hole and Dolphin Cove. We've previously done Dunn's River Falls and recommend that as well.

Round of applause for Ms. Kenita, I have traveled to Jamaica many times and I must say hands down this is the best condo/villa I have ever stayed in. Once you walk into the apartment it is like walking on a cloud everything has been updated to the max. This place is in the heart of Ochi Rios across the street from Margaritaville and 2-3 min walking distance to shops, bus line and grocery stores. Everything was cleaned and arranged in tact when my party walked in I never had a problem and actually had a beautiful view of Columbus Heights at night from the balcony. I have been to Jamaica 6 times in the past year and this is the best place I have stayed in. Big up your self Kenita you have a winner. I will recommend this place to anyone I know who will be traveling to Jamaica by the way if you want to book please do so because her place is booked out !

I enjoyed my stay but things could be better.

I did enjoyed my stay but I notice that none of the issues from past online reviews was not addressed. Sugar ant was everywhere, the furnitures is dated and paint peeling off the furnitures, under the refrigerator need fixing, the fan light in the master bedroom need cover, the master shower drain is really rusted, the master show curtains rod really rusted. Owners, if you pay a little bit more attention to details. This apartment would be an excellent place to stay and I would stay here again if those issues are addressed. I have pictures if you need to see exactly what I am talking about.

Home away from Home

On arrival we had to check in with security at the gate who were professional and friendly at the same time. There is no entry without going through security plus I notice there were security cameras in their office. This all gave a feeling comfort and safety. Our appartment was on the second floor and there are 2 elevators but we particularly enjoyed the elevator to the left as it played very soothing music, lol. It was easy to enter our apartment with the keeps provided. The apartment was bright and airy and clean. The open plan living was perfect for us, there is a large fridge freezer which we made full use of to store cold drinks and our snacks. Our bedrooms were comfortable, showers were good, pressure was low at times but we did have hot water. There is also a balcony which was useful when we washed a few bits of clothing. The location is perfect close to all the local attractions plus access to a private beach where water activities were available. We felt this apartment felt like Home and were sad to leave. We would 100% stay here again. The host was very easy to keep in contact with and we also had a lady who would come in to provide clean sheets and towels and tody up.

Clean room and conveniently located

The room was right by, restaurants, bars, and a grocery store. The inside was clean and the host was very helpful. If you are looking for an authentic stay in ocho rios, this is the spot! Make sure you check the cruise schedule, it is a totally different area when a cruise comes in.

Convenient location

The building need updating. The host was nice. The apartment needs to be treated for ants. The kitchen needs updating along with replacing the old furniture in the master bedroom. The master bathroom needs repairs made to the leaking in the ceiling. I also felt safe at this property. This property definitely has potential once the needed upgrades and repairs are made.

Home from home

Straight forward process on arranging this accommodation, no issues. Staff, neighbours and owner very friendly. Delighted with the apartment, smart, comfortable and secure. A fantastic stay

We had a lovely time at Kenita's place in Ochi. It is clean, convenient and well equipped. We had prompt responses from Kenita when we emailed her, and we and our daughter and son in law LOVED our time there. Highly recommended!

Excellent service

The apartment was as seen on the website, transfer was excellent. House keeper was excellent and very helpful and friendly. Apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The owner of the apartment had outstanding customer service before and after our stay.I would recommend this apartment 100% and look forward to visiting Jamaica again.

I am currently living in London....one of my passions in life is travelling.and have had the oppurtunity to visit many different countries...I know most of Europe...and can get by in Spanish, and German..Africa is an amazing place...I still want to visit China...and New Zealand...However for me its the magical vibes I get when I visit Jamaica.. just walking down the street in Ochee there is a buzz.. of music..people are really alive .. its a must experience

I was visiting Jamaica so often, I decided to puchase a holiday home. Ocho Rios is the place I chose , as I have a few friends of mine from London who have settled in this this lively, vibrant , town. What finally made me decide to purchase the one bedroom, I was sitting on the balcony early in the morning (before I purchased the unit) I looked to my right and there were the mountains,I looked to my left and I had the view of the sea....I thought what more can I want.and I have never looked back, after having the one bedroom for 5 years, I then went on to invest in the 2 bedroom apartment

Location...Location I just loved the thought that I didn't need to drive anywhere..its like having the beach as your back garden...restaurants, bars, clubs, banks, supermarkets, all are in walking distance..and major world attractions, are all but a 5 min drive away..yet when you enter the complex...all the busyness is left outside...
