Sandcastle Resort, la propiedad consta de cinco edificios de tres pisos y tiene un diseño de estilo colonial. Se encuentra en Turtle Beach, en Ocho Ríos, a poca distancia de restaurantes, vida nocturna, iglesia y tiendas.

El complejo cuenta con mostrador de información turística, restaurante, bar deportivo, pequeño gimnasio, spa, centro de bienestar y piscina.

La unidad es una suite de 1 dormitorio totalmente amueblada, con una cama king size, una sala de estar / comedor con un sofá cama, baño completo (bañera y ducha), TV por cable, estéreo, CD, sistema de música con puerto USB y viene con un cocina totalmente equipada. Los servicios de limpieza se proporcionan alegremente tres días por semana sin costo adicional.

Overall good.

Loyd the host was very helpful when the living room AC went out and it was fixed within the day. The unit we had had a beautiful view of the ocean and beach, very nice balcony. The living room TV and the tea hot water heater in the kitchen both went out and were not replaced by the time we left but for us, that was relatively minor. Some of the front desk staff are helpful, some are not. Good restaurant on site and across the street John Crow's Tavern was a very good place to eat and hang out. Easy walking distance to a grocery store. Overall good stay and we will be back.

Perfect location in Ocho Rios

The property is in the middle of all the action in Ocho Rios. You are steps away from the beach, close to restaurants, nightlife and shopping. It was clean and we'll appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The staff of Sandcastles was very friendly and helpful. Patricia was great and made sure we had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay!

Very quaint apartment

Pat the property manager is the best. Lloyd , the owner is always on top of communication , very quick to respond. Very clean place with everything within walking distance.

R & R At It's Finest

Location...Location...Location! We just spent 2 weeks at this property. We enjoyed every minute of it. Kitchen is very organized and well equipped. Unit is newly renovated and very comfortable. We absolutely loved the balcony and spent most of our time there (when we we're at the beach) as it overlooked the beach and we watched the cruise ships coming & going. The gated complex is centrally located and offers 24 hours security. Pat the property manager was a gem to deal with very friendly & accommodating. Definitely on the top of our list of accommodations in Jamaica.

Very clean, friendly, great view

This place was a great location right next to the gated beach. The balcony and view were wonderful. It was very clean with helpful and friendly property staff. They hooked us up with drivers and the drivers hooked us up with tour guides for the places we went. The beach wasn't crowded at all, plenty of chairs to rent and helpful staff as well. Vendors were not pushy here. Bed was harder than we like. Check out Evitas restaurant. Thanks! We had a great time!

Very nice!!!!!

Very nice place!!! The beachfront view was amazing!!! Pat ( the manger / housekeeper) was wonderful. Safe and secure place . Very clean. Walking distance to bars and restaurants and grocery store. Don’t forget to bring shampoo and conditioner because there wasn’t any. Would definitely stay there again!

Lovely apartment facing the beach in a very pleasant small resort.

The accommodation was clean and well equipped and based in a friendly local resort right next to the beach. It is fully secure and right in the town close to several good supermarkets. The only down factor was that despite being advertised there is no washing machine in the property which caused us some difficulty as we arrived after travelling around the island with several loads of dirty washing. However there is a laundry facility within the resort where you leave your washing to be done by the attendant for a cost of 1100 Jamaican dollars per load. At the moment there is some construction work going on right next to the accommodation to put down a new landscaped promenade. This means that direct access to the beach and the views from the apartment are obstructed. It looks like these works are nearly completed.

The condo was very nice and well furnished, and comfortable. The housekeeper Pat, was very nice and made sure we had anything we needed. We would recommend it to anyone. But. we should have been told about the construction work. We had a terrible experience with Home away! They were too slow to let Lloyd Wallen, the owner of the condo know what was happening with the balance of payment. the evening we checked in all was o k. but the next morning, all hell broke loose, Lloyds house keeper was knocking on the door and demanding that we pay $1,300. US in cash or get out. The amount was $65. more than we had been given by Home A Way. We could not get anything resolved after hours on the phone. Fortunately we have a bank account in Jamaica and had the cash. Otherwise our vacationed would have been a disaster. The issue is still pending. GOOD luck to anyone booking through home a way.

Perfect Vacation

Our 10 day stay at the Sandcastle was perfect. The condo was very clean, comfortable and couldn't ask for a better view from our balcony. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Having been to Jamaica several times over the past years, we would definitely stay at the Sandcastle again. Was very convenient to the beach, restaurants, supermarket, etc. Lloyd was always very prompt in answering any questions that we had. Thank you, Lloyd!

Beautiful beach, clean condo

Upon arrival our condo was spotless and bright. It's within walking distance to a variety of shops, including a couple of grocery stores. The beach is less than a one minute walk. Although there are a few vendors there, we were not hassled. Shout to Donald, Pat, Sheila and Tony. They went out of their way to make our experience there that much better. Lloyd, the owner, was quick to respond to queries and directed us to competent people to help once we arrived. Would not recommend the restaurant. It was expensive and staff not very friendly. We found a little stick in the hash browns. Although the manager seemed surprised and admitted it was dangerous, she would not adjust the bill. No problem mon. We simply didn't eat there again. Already planning the next trip back. Highly recommend Sandcastles (via Lloyd).

Perfect - Exactly as Expected

We stayed here for 10 days in March 2016. The location is awesome, near to everything. The beach, groceries, bars, restaurants and rivers / waterfallsare all just steps away! The apartment is fully equipped, and very clean. Miss Pauline is lovely. We will be happy to stay here again!

Loved it!!!

We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment and it was absolutely perfect. The location is amazing, you're only a short walk away from margarita ville, the beach, grocery store, restaurants and anything else you could need. The staff are friendly and helpful and definitely go the extra mile to make sure you're happy. The apartment is very clean and the kitchen has all the pots and pans you would need if you decide to cook your own meals. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone, you won't be disappointed.

D15 OMG Twice

Ok guys I know you’re thinking this woman is just writing reviews. Well yes been to Jamaica April, May, July and August 2015(coming soon). This was my first time staying in unit D15, it beautiful the furniture the view and the pictures don’t do it justice. Pauline is so funny one of my friends was cooking and she was doing it wrong she told the lady move let me do it right. She keeps the place clean and tidy and always has a pleasant smile. I had the opportunity to look at other units and actually stayed in one it was nice but not as nice as D18, D17 and D15. Ladies and gentleman you will not go wrong in renting anyone one of these units. I really can’t say more the beds are comfortable especially the pull out couch. I gave my friend the bedroom and I slept in the living room and slept like a baby. Bathroom is really nice and clean with good linens and shower curtains. I normally bring my own things but these units are so super clean I left my brand new stuff in the suitcase. Travelers please take my advice; I stay at Jamaica Grande for about 30 years (three name changes) now Moon Palace it’s nothing like have an entire bedroom and living with full kitchen nice glassware and your friends can come and visit and enjoy the amenities. OMG Beautiful, Peaceful

Words cannot describe this unit you have to try it for yourself!! It’s extremely clean; location is perfect, ease of booking. Staff is on point. Location, location did I mention location everything is within walking distance. I been traveling to Ochi for 30 years and this is my second Villa I normal stay at the resorts; sorry they will never see me again. I can go on and on about all three of his units I used two while I was there D18 and D17 had the time of my life. If you want a lovely place to stay clean, comfort of home try any of his units I saw all three and compare to some of the others they cannot touch his units. 3 Weeks in Paradise

Upon arrival we were completely blown away by the spectaluar view, it is really out of this world. Check in was very easy; Valarie met us at the desk & took us next store to meet Sheila where we did our paper work & were given our keys. Valarie also took us to the local grocery market & gave us some great suggestions of various local restaurants. As we were unpacking Pauline arrived, she was awesome & very helpful during our stay. The condo has everything you need; it's very clean & comfortable. We spent our days wondering around Ocho Rios, afternoons at the beach, & visited the various markets. We had an amazing 3 weeks & look forward to returning next year.

Lovely Property

Perfect studio for two!

This was the perfect studio for the two of us. Very clean with everything needed to cook and enjoy personal meals, on the beach with wonderful views, in the center of Ocho Rios and walking distance to restaurants, bars, margaritaville and other attractions such as Turtle Park and downtown activities! A hidden gem. You'll be pleasantly surprised!

Our Stay was Awesome !!!

We had a wonderful time, Lloyd was very helpful and our helper Pauline was Immaculate. The location was great, walking distance to shops, grocery stores and restraunts, and not to mention steps from the beach. Pauline cooked us Akee and SaltFish along with Curry Chicken and Rice it was delicious. The tour desk was also great with setting up our excursions. We had a blast we definitely recommend this Resort and we will definitely be back .. Thanks Lloyd.

Such a great place to vacation.

We stayed in the studio room. It was absolutely great. The studio has all you need for two people. Kitchen fully stocked and bathroom has towels which Pauline the housekeeper washed every other day as well as our bedding and cleaned the place. She made us dinner one night which was delicious. She also insisted on doing the dishes. The local people we met on the beach will be friends for a lifetime. If you go look for Richard (screw) he always wears a green shirt and will take care of all your needs on the beach. Getting drinks, lunch or a cab. We will definitely be back.

we were happy

Our suite was very clean and all we needed for our stay the bed was comfortable and everything was provided for a comfortable stay. The hotel itself needs a bit of work and many comained who rented directly from the hotel. So privately renting is definitely the best option. Pauline the housekeeper was there to greet us when we arrived even though it was late. She was hospitable and lovely. Cooked us dinned made us fantastic Jamaican punch. We had a great view of the water. Two out of the 7 days the back guard was not working which made entering the beach and hotel more challenging. A longer walk to the entrance gate. Overall it was great and we will return.

wonderful hidden gem!

I have been to Jamaica many times and tend to stay away from the resorts, as I want to experience the "true" Jamaica. I have stayed at many different condo type rentals, never really finding a place that I want to go back to............that is until now! The Sandcastles rental property was absolutely beautiful. Although I had a private rental, the front desk staff and security were always so pleasant and engaging. I rented a one bedroom from Lloyd and was given a beautiful, clean and spacious suite. Full kitchen, with all the amenities of home. I had a beautiful view of the beach, and a nice large balcony to view it from. My housekeeper Pauline was such a sweet lady. She was more like the neighbor next door, always friendly and courteous and willing to do anything for you. We were a 1 minute walk from downtown Ochi, shopping centers, banks, bars, casino.......etc. I have found my permanent rental in Ocho Rios, and that is through Lloyd at the Sandcastles!

Another relaxing stay in my home away from home!

During our much needed ladies holiday, we stayed in the two bedroom apartment (1 bedroom and studio adjoined by a door). Everyone enjoyed the comforts of home, the view, location, and hospitality of Miss Pauline. Lloyd (owner) was a pleasure to work with as always. I can not say more than I've said in my past post. This will continue to be my/our favorite place! Looking forward to returning in July! Thank you Lloyd, Miss Pauline, and Sheila.

Very clean. Organized. Homely.

I was very impressed with all the accommodations. The condo was very clean and organized. There were always enough towels and such. Pauling (the housekeeper) was very helpful and professional. She did a wonderful job cleaning the place. I would highly recommend this condo to everyone.
