This was our third stay in 2 years here. This stay was two weeks and by the end of the first week we were ready for another place. Really getting rough around the edges. Nedds heavy cosmetic maintenance and cleaning. Some general updates. Its time worn and not in a charming way.

Perfect Port A Cottage

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was home has been our favorite rental we've used in four years of our Port A vacations. It is the perfect size for a couple and a small dog. Fully equiped with everything we might need and more. The shower was so lovely, the screened in porch was perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach and the fenced-in yard brought peace of mind for our pup.The outdoor shower was the cherry on top for rinsing ourselves off and rinsing our fishing gear at the end of the day.

Comfortable 1br 1 bath was perfect for us. I think the couch is a pull out.Well equiped kitchen, nice batnroom (shower, no tub). Nice hot water in shower. The screened in patio was nice.

We had a wonderful and cozy stay! The decor was charming and thoughtfully put together, and everything we needed was provided for us.One small concern was the microwave — it was quite rusted inside, and I was hesitant to use it due to safety worries. It might be a good idea to replace it. Also, the internet wasn’t working during our stay, so I had to rely on my own hotspot. Thankfully, that wasn’t a major issue.We especially loved spending time outside; it was breezy, peaceful, and added to the charm of the place.Overall, it was a lovely stay, and we’d definitely love to come back again!

Don’t do it!

Sure it’s cute but it’s all the little things that made this a terrible experience. First you have to pick up 2 sets of keys but they don’t work since they changed out the door locks. Then there was tons of dogs poop in the yard and walkway. Thanks for the poop on my shoeThere are major electrical issues here. We were worried it was going to go out completely. Then the house was not very clean at all.

Excellent location to restaurants and beach

Loved the cottage feel and the sunroom was the bonus as well as a yard for my dog. The cottage was decorated in good taste. If I were to make a recommendation it would be to replace the stove, refrigerator, sofa and maybe even the bed. Very outdated. Ice maker did not work etc etc.

Cute cottage house

Enjoyed our stay. There was no dishwasher, which it said there was. Not a big deal but was missing. The ice maker did not work. Management came promptly when we had a couple of minor things that needed attention.Would stay there again!

Great location

Location always excellent. Older home but kept up pretty well. AC works great! Small yard for dogs. Bed and furniture very comfortable. The cleaning company could have done a better job as the floor was dirty and needed to be mopped when we arrived.

Second stay in the unit

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Having to go and pickup 3 keys in 2024 seems antiquated. Port A Escapes employees were friendly and informative. We added an extra night when they reached out about the unit being available. The unit itself needs a little TLC- most noticeable was the kitchen utensils (3 knives total!?) and the bed itself. Great location and the fenced in backyard is why we book!
