Sienta el despertar y recuéstese con la belleza de la bahía de Funchal, desde el punto de vista más famoso de la isla, le presentamos su lujoso y acogedor lugar familiar para una escapada de hasta 10 invitados.
Limpie la piscina infinita y la barbacoa durante todo el año para uso exclusivo de los huéspedes.

Esta increíble villa espaciosa y luminosa tiene 4 habitaciones con impresionantes vistas al mar y baños individuales en el primer nivel, y una habitación más en la planta baja, totalmente equipada con todo lo necesario para unas vacaciones de ensueño.

La gran terraza exterior y los jardines que dan al mar y al centro de la ciudad son el lugar perfecto para relajarse al sol o disfrutar de deliciosas comidas.

La cocina es espaciosa y está totalmente equipada con todo lo que pueda necesitar para cocinar, frente a una gran sala de estar para una mejor iteración de los invitados. Una bonificación especial es que puedes disfrutar cocinando con plantas y vegetales aromáticos de la tierra de cultivo.
También tenemos los elementos básicos necesarios para cocinar, como aceite de oliva, vinagre, sal, pimienta, ingredientes y café.

En Barbecue ofrecemos madera, carbón, encendedores y todas las herramientas.

Ofrecemos ropa de cama y toallas limpias.
Si viaja con su bebé, podemos proporcionarle, previa solicitud, una cuna y una silla alta.

También hay una lavandería, con todos los productos necesarios para lavar nuestra ropa.

Hay un lugar de parque dentro de la Villa y otros disponibles fuera de la Villa de forma gratuita.

We loved everything about the house. Spacious, clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Comfortable beds, the garden is so nice and we loved being able to use vegetables and herbs. Beautiful view! Vera is the perfect host. We recommend this house!!!

If you have gotten this far, book this place. It’s magical! By far the best vacation rental we have booked in 25 years. Utterly perfect. Stunning views, whole back of the house opens up to overlook Funchal, while having complete privacy at the same time. House is so well laid out. I’d build this house for myself.

Great house in a great location. Views are spectacular. A quick drive down the hill to downtown or access to the freeway to go elsewhere. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing!

The property is more spectacular in person than the pictures can show. Ruben was a wonderful host and went above and beyond to check us in, arrange an airport transfer and answer all questions quickly during our stay. I wish we would have had more time to enjoy the property and Funchal. All representations in the listing are accurate. 11/10!

Easter 2024

We had a fabulous stay at Villa Cary at Easter 2024. The Villa is stunning and we enjoyed the views and the pool as well as the spacious and well appointed interior. As we had mixed weather during our stay the games room was also extensively used. The old town is a short if steep walk away and taxi back. We would thoroughly recommend this property and Ruben was also an excellent host.

Great villa

The villa was amazing. We had a great time. The hosts kept us informed and gave great and numerous recommendations for day trips and restaurants. We did not do the day trips however the restaurant recommendations were all lovely, good value and amazing food. The views of the sea and town were spectacular but means a very steep walk down into the old town (which keeps you fit especially if you go up hill too). Would definitely recommend. Thank you

Incredible villa with beautiful views

Where to start! We were greeted by Ruben who was the kindest and most knowledgeable host! He took time to show us around the villa and explain all the amenities. As soon as we entered we were blow away by the view overlooking Funchal bay. The pool was lovely and we made use of the outdoor BBq area. The games room was also very well equipped and had great fun playing snooker with the kids. There is a washing machine which was very useful and plentiful bath and pool towels. The villa was spotlessly clean!

Villa Cary - Absolutely Breathtaking View

Our stay at the Villa Cary was an absolute delight from the moment we entered the villa. As mentioned in the title the view is breathtaking overlooking the city lights of Funchal, we could watch the Atlantic Festival fireworks from the villa. Rooms are spacious & each of us having our own bathroom is a plus. My girlfriend was originally from Madeira Island which made our stay even more enjoyable. Rúben’s, our host was outstanding very informative and a pleasure to work with before and during our stay in Funchal. I would highly recommend Villa Cary for both comfort and all the amenities that are listed which made our holiday the Best Ever !!!

Lovely holiday with friends and family

Absolutely stunning home. Within walking distance to Old Town and also some nice local cafes, bakeries and restaurants. Be prepared for the walk uphill or better still, take a cab back. Ruben was amazing. Excellent communication throughout and lovely guest basket upon arrival.The herb and vegetable gardens were a huge bonus. Discovered a local restaurant, The Wings. Generous portions and delicious. Also the Infinito Wine Bar - Old Town - is a unique experience. Excellent food but without reservations, unlikely you'll be able to get a table. Usually no more than 6 or so guests at any given time. Enjoy your stay in Funchal!

Fabulous villa with amazing amenities

Reuben was a superb host. Very welcoming, friendly and attentive and was available for any advice if needed. The villa was stunning. Beautiful views down over Funchal and the sea. Modern, very comfortable and well equipped property. Beautiful outside space with inviting infinity pool and own herb and veggie patch. Special personal touches. Lovely welcome pack including appreciated beers after our travels. View from bedrooms were breathtaking out over the sea. The villa has a real wow factor. Only a few downsides; The £ price advertised on VRBO website was unexpectedly £200+ less than we actually paid, once the total was converted into Euros and an additional foreign exchange fee was applied. Neighbourhood guard dogs were very noisy throughout the night and kept some of us awake. Oven door was distorted so didn’t hold temperature. Otherwise a superb holiday destination and property. We loved our stay thank you.

The Best house we have ever had

We have had a fantastic holiday. The house and the view has been beyond our imagination, the picturs of the house are really good, but the place is even better in reality. All necessary things for the kitchen were already here when we came, and we love the concept of the ongoing bar, meaning that everybody just leaves their left overs liquor and then you end up with an most i teresting bar. Everywhere in the house is was so clean and nice, and we got thebest welcome from Ruben, that we could possible wish for. Only two small things to be aware of: coming from Denmark where we all have our separate blankets to sleep with, having to share one big blanket was a little too romantic for our two cousins, so one of them found an extra in the basement. Also we had rented a car, and there is a perfect garage in the house, but I must admit the streetes of Funchal are quite diffifult to manage as they are very steep and narrow. We should just have used the very good taxi company, that Ruben gave us the number for. All together is has been the best possible holiday and we hope to come back to Vila Cary.

Excellent séjour. Maison confortable et vue splendide, avec suffisamment d'espace pour que notre groupe de 10 ne se trouve pas à l'étroit.Il y a certes les aboiements des chiens alentours qui ont pu déranger nos nuits, mais leur présence est assez générale sur l'île. C'est encore la chambre du rdc qui était la plus calme à cet égard. A noter cependant que celle-ci ne dispose pas de sdb privée et semble ne pas avoir été destinée à y dormir en 1er lieu. Elle donne sur le carré potager avec une orientation ouest. Donc tout de même moins grandiose que les 4 chambres de l'étage.Très bonne réactivité de Vera et de son équipe qui ont répondu rapidement aux questions que nous pouvions avoir.Un grand merci à elles.

Traumhaft schön.

Traumhafte Villa, sehr geräumig mit allem was man für einen perfekten Urlaub braucht. Die Aussicht ist unbeschreiblich, das muss man selber sehen. Morgens kann man vom Bett aus die Kreuzfahrtschiffe im Hafen "einparken" sehen und abends vom beheiztem Pool aus wie sie wieder abfahren. Im großen "Spielzimmer" im Keller mit Billardtisch, Kicker, Fitnessgeräte und vieles mehr lassen sich auch mal Schlechtwetter Tage überbrücken. Ruben hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und alles erklärt sowie wertvolle Tipps gegeben. Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub. Danke Ruben

Ein wahrgewordener Traum!!!!

Die Bilder spiegeln wirklich diese Villa wieder. Eigentlich in Natura noch viel schöner. Der Vermieter (Ruben) ist unglaublich aufmerksam. Alles was einen schönen Aufenthalt ausmacht macht, war bis ins Detail vorhanden. Für uns wird es ein unvergesslicher Urlaub bleiben. Wir kommen bestimmt in diese Villa irgendwann zurück. Danke, Danke Ruben.

Excellent location and view for a relaxing holiday

This spacious house proved to be an excellent location for a fabulous holiday. It's all about the view. No need to travel to viewing points around the island, you have it all from this beautiful house. Four ensuite bedrooms were excellent for a small group of friends. The open plan kitchen/dining/living were superb for easy living and relaxed dining. A kitchen is not something I am concerned about for a holiday let but the facilities were great and encouraged the group to stay around, cook and chat. Ruben was an excellent, accommodating and helpful host. You could not ask for better. We will be back.

Großzügige Villa mit traumhaftem Ausblick

Ruben hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und uns das Haus prima erklärt. Der Kühlschrank war mit Getränken und frischem Gemüse aus dem Garten gefüllt, Gewürze, Grundzutaten, WC Papier, Zewa, Wasch- und Geschirrspülmittel waren auch vorhanden. Holzkohle und Grillanzünder, Mülltüten - alles da! So komfortabel haben wir noch keine Ferienwohnung je erlebt.....! Wir haben oft Billard gespielt und abends Karten auf der Terasse - der Blick auf Funchal mit der Weihnachtsbeleuchtung ist einfach wunderschön. Die Betten sind super bequem, Handtücher sind ausreichend vorhanden, die ganze Villa ist sehr ansprechend eingerichtet und dabei auch noch sehr gemütlich. Wir haben uns sofort zu Hause gefühlt. Zum Einkaufen sind wir nach Camacha gefahren (2 Supermärkte in Autobahnnähe). Man kann prima nach Funchal in die Altstadt runter laufen (Treppenweg unterhalb der Villa nehmen), dauert ca. 30 Minuten. Der Rückweg ist auch im Dunkeln gut beleuchtet und dauert ca. 40 Minuten. Gutes Schuhwerk ist hierbei zu empfehlen. Wir hatten häufig Nieselregen, was uns aber auch tagtäglich wunderschöne Regenbögen bescherte. Wir durften Rote Beete, Lauch und Brokkoli aus dem Garten ernten und uns am Kräuterhochbeet bedienen - ein wirklicher Genuß. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder

Sehr schöne Villa mit phantastischem Ausblick

Das Haus befindet sich in einem sehr gepflegten Zustand mit insgesamt gehobener Ausstattung. Die sowohl in den 3 vorderen Schlafzimmern im ersten Stock als auch im unteren Wohn/Ess/Küchenbereich sich befindenden riesigen Fensterfronten gestatten einen dauernden Blick auf das Meer und Funchal. Dieser Ausblick ist wirklich grandios. Man ist sofort im Entspannungsmodus. Die Kommunikation mit Ruben, der immer ansprechbar war, sowohl im Vorfeld als auch während des Aufenthaltes war freundlich und erfreulich unkompliziert. Gleichwo, wir können nur Bestnoten vergeben. PS.: Einen Mietwagen sollte man schon haben sonst wird's doch sehr sportlich.

Amazing location, view, home and hosts

Amazing location, view, home and hosts. The whole family loved it. We felt at home. The children enjoyed the pool and the play room very much, as well as the basketball court. Greatly recommend this villa to everyone, definitely a must visit!
