Un apartamento precioso, luminoso y aireado con dos habitaciones dobles en una hermosa casa adosada victoriana en el corazón de la hermosa Notting Hill. Recientemente decoradas y con acceso a mágicos jardines privados para que pueda vivir su Hugh Grant y Julia Roberts fantasía sin tener que subir por la valla! En una calle tranquila, pero muy cerca del ajetreo y el bullicio de Portobello Road. ¡Vive la película!

El apartamento tiene capacidad para cuatro personas cómodamente en dos habitaciones dobles igual tamaño con camas de matrimonio. Perfecto para dos parejas o una familia con niños (de cualquier edad!).

Descripción del barrio
Para aquellos que han visto la película Notting Hill, que no tendrá que explicar lo que lo convierte en un ejemplo perfecto postal de imagen de Londres en su mejor momento. Líneas de árboles, viejas lámparas de gas victorianas, mágicos jardines comunitarios entre cada bloque, pubs con encanto, restaurantes y bares de moda, Portobello con sus famosas tiendas de antigüedades más Westbourne Grove con sus boutiques de diseño. Podría seguir para siempre...

Cómo moverse
Y también muy conveniente para el centro de Londres. A 10 minutos a pie de Hyde Park y Kensington Gardens, a 15 minutos a pie de High Street Kensington y sus tiendas. A 20 minutos a pie de Westfield y su enorme centro comercial. Ya 25 minutos en autobús (o 15 minutos en metro / metro) a Marble Arch y Oxford Street.

Amazing place to stay if you want to stay in a real london neighborhood

Tass´s place is a beautiful flat just a few blocks away from portobello road. There are a lot of good places to have brunch and have dinner nearby. Its also well located within the tourist hotspots but you never feel the crowds and you do feel that you´re staying in the real London although you are in a high profile neighborhood as Notting Hill. Tass was really helpful all the time with amazing tips. I would stay again if im in London again for sure!

Pros: Location was perfect for getting anywhere in London. Loved the private garden. Swings and slides for the kids. Check in and communicatin was easy.Cons: Mattress in the main bedroom is completely collapsed. Mattress in other bedroom ancient but still able to sleep. Toilet seat broken. Shower head covered in lime scale. Exhaust fan in bathroom was so coated in dust it didnt work. When we arrived all the windows were open, however for safety reasons for our children we needed to shut the windows. The damp smell quickly became apparent. Upon investigation we found a clothes horse with wet towels and bed linen on it inside the apartment. It would take days to dry. Unfortunately the sheets on the bed smelled musty which would be because they were previously hanging on the othes horse in the apartment. I'm sorry but its totally unacceptable to have wet linen and towels hamging in the unit when a guest is staying. The whole apartment is extremely tired and in desperate need of attention that was more evident i think because it didnt feel clean. Overall: great location and layout but broken items and wet linen ruined experience.

This apartment is not huge but suited the 4 of us (all adults 65) just perfectly. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed including a dishwasher and washer / dryer. Everything was clean.The location was perfect walking distance to the Portobello markets, underground station, shops, buses restaurants and Kensington gardens. Our host was very easy to communicate with, offering great suggestion on where to go and what to do in the area. You do have to go up a couple of flights of stairs to the apartment but we all managed it easily.We had a fantastic time in a great location. Definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.

Very clean flat on a quiet street close to bus stops and a quick walk to the tube. Our host Tass provided great ideas for local restaurants. The private garden behind the property is so peaceful.

We loved our stay in Tass’s apartment and he was a great host, really responsive to any queries & offered useful recommendations for local restaurants and sights. The apartment itself was ideal for three friends, nice spacious living room and everything we needed in kitchen for a short stay - the location was excellent, just a few minutes from Portobello Road and we enjoyed sitting in the private garden in sunshine!

Location is excellent -- just 2 blocks from Portobello Road and 1 mile from Notting Hill Tube station. However, it is up 4 flights of stairs with no elevator. It is sparsely furnished and needs some sprucing up, especially its only bathroom.

This place was in a great neighborhood with easy access to the tube, bus lines, cute cafes and restaurants, and great shops. The apartment had everything we needed and offers some wonderful views of the neighborhood and rear garden. We had a wonderful time there!

We had an excellent experience at Tass's place. Though we only stayed two nights, Tass treated us like long-term guests and made the whole experience feel painless. The place itself is very bright and spacious with beautiful Notting Hill views. Great to have laundry and a functioning kitchen to feel at home during your trip, and how nice to have your very own garden! And the location – wow! I couldn't imagine a better one for a rental in London, down a picturesque street steps from Portobello Road and multiple tube stops, plenty of restaurants, etc. If I had to give one piece of constructive feedback I'd say the mattresses could use an update, though they weren't uncomfortable. To be fair, few of the places we stayed in the UK had super comfortable bedding and even in the States we often find it hard to come by comfy beds in vrbos.We stayed at a few different places in and around London on this UK trip and this was a favorite (and I think my 5 year-old daughter and wife would agree). Heartily recommend and thanks again to Tass for making us feel so welcome!

Such a great flat! Excellent location!! Would absolutely stay here again. Check in was easy, place was clean. Owner was friendly and easy to work with and provided ideas for restaurants and transportation that were very helpful. And it was great to be able to do a load of laundry while there! Only cons being it could use a little updating and TLC. It is an old building with old plumbing, small bathroom, no microwave, and the bed seems to swallow you in the center. But worth the small inconveniences to stay in such a great spot!

Summertime in London

We absolutely loved our stay here and I can't say enough about how it made our first trip to London so enjoyable. Working with Tass was a pleasure as he was super helpful with information about the apt and the area with clear instructions concerning check-in and checkout ... no issues at all. Tass was remote in NYC, so a gentlemen named Solomon let us in when we got there and helped us get adjusted. Super nice guy. The Notting Hill area is just splendid being convenient to great shops, fantastic restaurants, grocery stores and pubs just minutes away. The Notting Hill Gate Tube station is only 15min walk with bus stops right across the street. This made it super easy to get around London. Loved that both the Tube and Bus are tap to pay. This wonderful apt was such a joy to come back to after a long day around the city or after long day out of the city … which we took to Bath. Look forward to coming back in the future

Excellent emplacement

Très bien situé , rue calme à 2 min de Portobello Road avec café, bakery, restaurent et boutique . Autobus vers le centre ville juste à côté . Desservi par deux lignes de métro. Bel immeuble avec verdure à l’arrière . Aurait besoin d’une couche de peinture pour rafraîchi le tout. Et bord du bain à refaire. Matelas d’une des chambres à changer. Cuisine peu équipé . Plafond haut qui donne de l’espace. Vent en tout temps donc pas besoin de climatisation

Top marks flat in a top marks neighborhood!

The flat is incredibly pleasant, and its prime location, near all the good things in Notting Hill, simply cannot be beat! Including access to the absolutely stunning garden... And Tass (the host) was eager & responsive to the few typical wrinkles that came up. My wife, 3 young kids & I stayed for a week, and when we go back to NH again, I can't imagine staying anywhere else!

Good on a budget!

The Booking and check in were fine. And we chose this location because of the reviews, which were great! We decided not to stay here - when we arrived we made other plans and left. This just wasn’t to our standards. But that is my error, the price was very affordable which matches the establishment. For someone on a budget this is fine, my daughter had chose for us on a budget. I am little bit older and like my amenities!! So not the fault of the VRBO, just the fault of me not checking. It’s a fine place for the price!

Trip of a lifetime!

I have always wanted to visit London. My son and I wanted to stay in Notting Hill since it was convenient to so many shops, restaurants, and close to the Tube. The property was clean and whenever we had questions the owner responded immediately.

It's such a joy to interact with people from all over the world - who treat the place like their home and who I enjoy recommending local sights, sounds and tastes to.

Honestly? I was first attracted to Notting Hill by the film. And I'm pleased to report that the area has hardly changed since then.
So come live your Julia Roberts/Hugh Grant fantasy for a few days or more...

The Victorian charm; the huge windows; the view of the communal garden from the windows; the communal garden which feels like a secret wonderland. The peace and quiet. The blue glass fixture in the hallway. The neighborhood.
