The historical village enjoys access to plenty of woodland mountain walks and also features basic amenities; including a bus stop with frequent services to the lakeshore and centre of Menaggio (11 minutes’ drive away).

Pretty nearby Menaggio offers a wide selection of grocery shops, cafes, restaurants, gift shops and resort facilities to complement your stay. Its picturesque lake promenade leads past boat rentals, ice cream shops, mini golf and cafes to a modern family-friendly Lido with 2 pools and a sandy beach. A frequent Central Lake ferry service to Cadenabbia (for the Tremezzina lidos, restaurants, walks and Villa Carlotta, Bellagio (for tourist shopping, the Villa Melzi and Villa Serbelloni gardens, the Jungle Raider Park and the Extreme Outdoor Sport club) and Varenna (for Villa Cipressi, Villa Monastero, Castello di Vezio and its quaint ancient centre) offer and a fast ferry service to Como also features from Menaggio ferry port, whilst buses provide easy access to the western shore lake villages as well as to Lugano and Como city.
