Auténtica casa italiana con terraza y vista panorámica al lago.

Bienvenid@ a Casa Fitzcarraldo, una casa familiar que adoramos y disfrutamos desde el año 2000.

La casa tiene más de 100 años y la hemos acondicionado manteniendo el ambiente rústico y acogedor de las casas de esta zona de Italia. Está situada en un zona residencial sin tráfico. Con dos dormitorios dobles, una buadilla con varias camas, un baño, un aseo, salón y cocina completa, es perfecta para familias y grupos de hasta 8 personas.

Lo que la hace especial es la gran terraza con magnificas vistas. Una larga escalera da acceso directo a una pequeña y tranquila playa en el lago.

La zona tiene mucho que ofrecer: sus aguas refrescantes en verano, perfectas para un chapuzón o una jornada en barco. Se pueden visitar muchos pueblecitos encantadores, como Bellagio o Varenna. También se puede subir a la montaña de excursión o ir en bici para admirar las increíbles vistas a los Alpes.

Really nice house in a quiet village. Excellent walking and hiking at your back door. 15 minite drive to Bellagio. Beautiful views from 2nd floor balcony and 3rd floor bedrooms. Easy check in and check out, thoughtful and hospitable hosts. We loved it!

Lake Como Spectacular

Excellent property. Beautiful home in a spectacular location on Lake Como. Easy to get to Bellagio and Como. I recommend a small car for the roads!

A great stay in an authentic Lake como village

We had a great stay for just about a week in early June. The apartment was great, peaceful and near great outdoors activites for hikes, trail runs etc. Definitely will come again.

Hidden Gem on Lake Como

We loved our stay in Lezzeno. The place exceeded all of our expectations. It was warm and cozy. Well equipped and had tons of character. We loved everything about our stay. Easy lake access, good restaurants, great place to cook in and enjoy the amazing views.

Beautiful house and views

Truly enjoyed staying at Casa Fitzcarraldo. All amenities were as described and the lake views are outstanding. Maybe a little tough to find depending on mode of transportation or for travelers not in the best of physical shape. The homeowners were easily accessible to answer questions and their suggestions for touring and restaurants were excellent.

Thank you Gary and glad you had a good stay! Although it is possible to use public transport and taxi around the lake, a (rented) car normally gives you most flexibility. Walking/hiking is also possible but as the mountains are quite steep this indeed requires some fitness. We hope we may welcome you again some time! Kind regards, family De Kraa

Wonderful discovery of Como lake near Bellagio

Really a great time spent with our family. Such wonderful views on the lake from the house and the beautiful terrace!! We loved it. We will remember the speed boat tour and the nice restaurants ! The host made our stay agreable, with the help of the friendly neighbour :)

Loved every minute of our stay!

The location is wonderful. We were glad we didn’t stay in Como. Bellagio was wonderful and we loved Crosso del Misto Hotel and Restaurant and pool Just across the street. The house was clean, comfortable and well laid out. It was perfect for 2 couples. I would not recommend for a larger group if you are coming in the summer as the 3rs floor is very warm.

Beautiful Place With An Amazing View

We spend 4 days at the house from family de Kraa.The house is a beautifully place in a small peacefull area at lake come.The house with his four floors is a very nice place to spend time at lake como. Everything was nice and clean and enough space for the 7 people of us.We really enjoyed our stay. We spend hours at the terrace. The view is so beautiful, the whole day.We used the canoes down at the beach, just a few minutes from the house.Family de Kraa was so nice with us. They shared a lot of informations and tips. Thank you so much. We had a great time.

Beautifully renovated home on Lake Como

Our family of 6 loved staying at this renovated home in Lezzeno, on Lake Como. Your leg muscles will get a good workout walking the steps to the lake, but it is absolutely worth it. We used the two red kayaks that came with the home every day and found the kitchen wonderfully full of all the things one needs to cook a meal. Located approximately 15 minutes from Bellagio, we loved the location and the view of the lake is lovely.

Beautiful house, beautiful neighborhood

We had a lovely stay! However, we did arrive after 20+ hours of travel, not realizing how remote it would be. No chance of finding groceries (thank goodness the local restaurant had a table available and served delicious food, but still nothing for breakfast the next morning- the bakery was closed). We did have difficulty finding it as well, as our phones were not connecting to service properly (completely not their fault- another victim of our long travel day!). Overall, I would highly recommend this beautiful house, but not as the first place you head to after a very long travel day!

The authentic Italian rural experience.

If you want an old home with modern amenities like USB ports to charge your cell phone, a great stove, and large comfortable beds, and an amazing view, this home is for you. It is not an easy stroll to restaurants or grocery, but we did not care. We cooked our own meals every night and sat on the patio to eat and drink wine and stare at the views. The supermarket Migross in Bellagio has great selections of meat and breads, but is not open on Mondays. The small mini market in Lezzeno has a few things in a pinch. You need though to buy dishwasher soap, and shower soap. None was provided. Also buy toilet paper and paper towels. We were out on adventures during the day, and back for the evening. Luckily, we always found a parking space. The bath towels could have been bigger, but showers and toilets worked well. There is a walking path just outside the door that leads to Nesso if you want to hike a little. This wonderful house is rustic and out of town, so a car is necessary. It was our kind of relaxing vacation. The lake was warm but the walk to it and back is not easy. Many steps. Good cardio workout. Our group of two couples would definitely stay again. We love Lake Como.

Sehr schönes Haus in toller Lage (im Dunkeln sehr schwer zu finden ). Ausstattung top. Gastgeber super nett und immer erreichbar. Das Haus erreicht man auf die letzten 100m nur zu Fuß mit einigen Stufen. Der Schlafraum unter dem Dach ist nicht beheizt...kann in der Übergangszeit etwas kalt werden.Wir hätten eine tolle Zeit dort!!!

Das Haus hat eine tolle Lage mit einem fantastischen Blick über den Comer See.Die Ausstattung ist gut, allerdings haben wir das Haus komplett gemietet, haben 3 Personen angemeldet und es waren nur 2 Betten bezogen und das auch nur mit einem Laken, obwohl es nachts schon sehr kühl war.Der Grill war im Gestrüpp eingewachsen und somit nicht zu verwenden.Es fehlten diverse Glühbirnen und wir reklamierten den lockeren Toilettensitz am ersten Tag, der bis zuletzt nicht repariert wurde.Das Haus Ansicht bietet alles was man für einen schönen Urlaub benötigt.Die Gastfamilie antwortete sofort und sehr nett auf alle Anfragen. Die Sauberkeit Ansicht hätte etwas besser sein können.
