The Hideaway is a 2 bedroom ground floor bungalow in one of the best positions being right in front of the 2 pools and gardens on the secure gated Albatros residence. Just a 5min stroll to the 525 plaza where you will find an array restaurants and bars. A further few mins to the stunning 6km beach (mar menor). There is also plenty of supermarkets to choose from (lidl, consume, mercadona, aldi). Everything really is at your doorstep here.
The spacious apartment is fully equipped and will make your stay feel like home from home. There is air conditioning (€10 a week free) and also celing fans throughout the apartment. 1 unit in the living room and 1 in each bedroom. In the living room there is a large corner sofa and rocker chair with a big screen TV with an amazon fire stick so you can watch your favourite channels and log into netflix ect.
Out on the front patio there is a 4 seater dining table with stunning views over the pools and landscape gardens.
In the main bedroom there is a super king size bed, built-in wardrobes and chest of drawers inside, so plenty of storage.
In the 2nd bedroom there is 2 single beds with bed guards and built-in wardrobes with chest of drawers inside.
The bathroom has a shower/bath with plenty of cupboard space with a hairdryer provided.
In the kitchen there is everything you need for a self catering holiday with an oven, microwave, kettle and toaster, big fridge/freezer ect. In the utility at the rear of the kitchen there is-

Great location to the pool and town

Our family with children had a great stay. The apartment has everything you need for your holiday. The location to the pool is excellent and makes life with younger children great as you can set out your sun beds on the apartment doorstep and pop inside quickly for drinks and food. Great local town with plenty of good restaurants and close to the beach too.

Albatross apartment

The property is ideally located in Los Alcazares, close to the main square for shopping and dining options. The complex is maintained to a good standard, but as has been for a few years now it’s guarded by a lifeguard, with many rules on no inflatables, to no balls or diving. Something I think the local community and committee have agreed on. The apartment has everything you need, but it would also benefit from a refresh or refurbishment to certain areas. The bathroom has seen some water ingress or leaks over time and as such cabinets and fitted sink units have warped, blistered or cracked. An update to the shower would be welcome, a mixer function from the tap whilst standing in the bath is a little dated now. The kitchen is small, with little surface area for preparation or serving. Again some cupboard space is locked for the owner’s personal needs, but to the detriment to the size of the kitchen. Space within the smaller bedroom is very limited due to the frames of the beds, exceeding the size of the mattress, and creating pinch points around doors and cabinets. In conclusion and comparison, the price for the property is on the expensive side, albeit it’s close proximity to the pool is a plus, but other properties in or on this complex are cheaper with newer features.

Escapada familiar

La estancia en el apartamento ha sido espectacular, la zona es tranquila, hay sitios cercanos para visitar, tomar algo o pasear. El alojamiento estaba muy limpio y cómodo, cuenta con un patio amplio donde poder comer y cenar muy a gusto. Normalmente no necesitábamos utilizar el aire acondicionado debido a la buena ventilación. La piscina está en muy buenas condiciones. Repetiremos seguro! ☺️

Good Location

The Albatross Complex is well located for easy access to shops, bars and restaurants. It is a 5 minute walk to the nearest supermarket in the Plaza. It is about a 10 minute walk to Lidl and Aldi. It takes about 15minutes to walk to the beach where there is a lovely promenade where you can walk all the way to the Old Town and to Los Narejos in the other direction. The apartment is well equipped. Communication with the owner was excellent and timely.

We are a family of 4 we have 2 boys aged 3 years and 1 year. We purchase this beautiful ground floor bungalow as a holiday home and we love it so much its ideal for our boys as its facing the baby pool. We first fell in love with los alcazares 17 years ago when we had grand parents living on albatros and we've been going back nearly every year since, it's a friendly happy place to be and I'm sure you will all enjoy and fall in love with the area as well.
