The nearest restaurants, bars, bakery & botanical gardens with children's playground are located just across the road. El Campanario shopping centre which has a large supermarket, bars & restaurants, craft markets and entertainment is only a few minutes walk away. The nearest beach is also within a 5 minute walk. Corralejo main street leading to the music square and harbour are a 10 minute walk away. The famous sand dunes are a short distance away. Bicycles and surf equipment is available locally too.

Corralejo is probably most famous for its miles and miles of golden sand dunes and beaches as well as the turquoise ocean. These are a must see. The nearest beach is 5 mins walk away.

Corralejo offers so many bars and restaurants that it is impossible to try them all. The old town at the bottom of the main street retains the old world charm whilst providing an authentic Canarian atmosphere. This leads down to the port where you can take boat trips and the ferry to Lanzarote & the tiny island of Lobos.

El Campanario shopping centre with its unique clock tower (climb to the top for the best view of the town, harbour and Lobos (a protected island between here and Lanzarote)is located a few minutes away with an excellent supermarket, artisan market and more bars and restaurants.

Fuerteventura is the second largest of the Canary Islands, but the least developed. There are three main tourist areas: Jandia in the south is predominantly a German resort; Caleta de Fuste on the east coast near the airport is a purpose built tourist area and Corralejo in the north is the main tourist resort complete with its old town charm, amazing harbour, water park and local markets.
