Fabulous property

Stayed here for 6 nights with family. Property was well equipped. Beds so comfortable. Wonderful location with beach very close by. Would stay here again.

Wonderful house and a great location

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is well equipped and comfortable with plenty of space. A couple of small problems were managed well by Elsie. A great location with easy walking distance to two great beaches.

Stay at 4 Beachdown

Very spacious, well resourced property. Comfortable for a large family gathering and providing a home from home. Disappointing to find that bbqs were not allowed. Situated down a narrow access road, which proved difficult at times but within easy driving distance to Kingsbridge, Salcombe and Dartmouth. It's position on the South West Coast path meant access to some lovely walks. We were disappointed to find a large caravan park opposite which wasn't mentioned in the property details and the bin store was very difficult to negotiate to find the correct bin for our rubbish.

Sorry to hear you were disappointed about the no BBQ rule, it is mainly due to the artificial grass and decking which can be melted and damaged due to BBQs. Great Family Getaway in a Spacious Seaside Home

We had a fantastic family weekend at this house. There was plenty of space both inside and out, and the kitchen was huge and really well-equipped, making it easy to cook and enjoy meals in - especially since navigating the Devon lanes in the dark isn’t always appealing when heading out for dinner. The bedrooms were spacious, and the driveway easily fit our three 4x4s. Check-in was seamless, and the local housekeeper was incredibly responsive, friendly, and helpful when we had a question. The upper and lower roof terraces were lovely for having morning coffee even in the chilly October weather, and the short stroll to the beach at Challabrough was a real bonus as we had a little one with us. The outdoor shower in the Beachdown complex was perfect for rinsing off sandy feet after a dip in the sea. It was also just a quick drive round to Bigbury Beach, and we found it easy to get to Salcombe and Kingsbridge for the day. Overall, a brilliant stay!
