ESPACIOSA CASA SOLEADA EN EL CAMINO PRIVADO DE BAYSIDE

Amplia y soleada casa ubicada en un camino privado de grava con acceso a la playa de la bahía.

Arriba: espacio abierto de vida, comedor y cocina con gran terraza con espectaculares vistas del atardecer. Recientemente reformado, cocina totalmente equipada. Den cerrado con TV / DVD, también sirve como 5to dormitorio con sofá cama y baño completo.

Abajo: amplio dormitorio principal con cama queen y entrada privada, baño con jacuzzi. Tres habitaciones más pequeñas con baño completo compartido. Cuarto de lavado, acceso a cubierta a nivel del suelo.

Afuera: terraza a nivel del jardín que está soleada por la mañana pero a la sombra por la tarde, con mesa de picnic, parrillas (gas y carbón), hamaca, sillones, ducha exterior. Área de césped.

Love love love!

The pictures online do not to this house justice! So spacious. Perfect for a large group. A short walk from a gorgeous beach and a short drive to PTown. The decor is quirky, unique, and I loved everything about it - especially The copious amounts of waffle makers. (This could very well be Leslie Knope’s House.) Would stay again in a heartbeat! Thank you Kingsley for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Smelly

Dont fall for this place! The pictures make it look very nice but its eerie and creepy. The overall smell of the place is of mold and must. There are mold stains on the wall in the bathroom as well. Also the outside is very overgrown so it appears uninhabited. Kinglsey makes you bring all of your own towels and linens which is ok. However you must make all the beds perfectly and deep clean the bathrooms or you are charged extra I attempted to reason with her that there was no dish soap provided so we could not clean the dishes but she did not respond and simply charged me a fee anyway. Overall this was a terrible experience

Family Vacation annual on the Cape

We were very lucky to find this Gem perfect fit for our extended family of Grown children and Grandchildren during these difficult times for everyone. We rent every year on the Cape but this year was first year we had to find new rental as our owner retired and lives their now. My son found this gem and we jumped on it lucky for us! Very roomy 4& bedroom with den upstairs being 5 th bedroom 3 full beautiful bathrooms with outdoor shower that all our grandchildren loved using everyday after beach which we drove to AS I am handicapped and could not do excessive stairs at association beach 10 min walk from house but very beautiful there that drove me to see it and took pic there sunsets unbelievable. The house is in rustic dirt road quiet neighborhood fully equipped for everyone’s needs or wants. We had a very hot week but survived with owners helpful Advice to keep curtains drawn during dAy and fans going no problems. We even had electric outage that owner quickly responded to birds are culprits protected by law so it happens occasionally did not interfere with our vacay at all. We recommend staying here it will not disappoint beautiful deck to eat out on upstairs another one downstairs with 2 grills gas and charcoal! Beaches beautiful down here glad we ventured down to Truro this year! Restaurants all very good with outside dining take out too

Family Friendly Beach Vacation

Kingsley's home is the perfect place for a family beach getaway. We traveled with a group that included newborns and the layout of the house was perfect for allowing some quiet places for babies to be napping without restricting the activity in the rest of the house. The bedrooms are tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the kitchen, living, and family rooms. The kitchen was well stocked, and even more importantly - CLEAN! The owner requests that all renters clear out their food in both the refrigerator and cabinets making for an easy set up upon arrival. We had one minor issue that the Kingsley immediately addressed, and even helped us out with other less pressing requests. We had a great week in a great location and are looking forward to another in 2016.

Charming, spacious and completely functional for a large family

We finally found it! After several years of renting in Truro and Wellfleet, our large extended family has finally found the place we want to come back to year after year! The house is beautiful and spacious with a great outdoor patio that we essentially lived on. Inside was incredibly spacious (the pictures do not do it justice in terms of size) with a very well stocked kitchen, plenty of space for family dinners, and kids art projects, a great walk on deck and a comfortable tv room. The bedrooms were well appointed and good-sized with a great master bedroom that easily slept 2 adults and 2 kids (one on an air mattress and one in a crib) with plenty of extra room. the bay beach is a short 10 minute walk away and was lovely. The house is very close to Head of the Meadow beach, our favorite. This place is a total gem - you feel like you're in a home, not a "property" with beautiful artwork on the walls, sculptures and pottery pieces hidden in the gardens. The home's owner, Kingsley, was wonderful too. Couldn't have had a better week on the cape!

I am an artist and former architect, mostly living in Boston. I've been working for myself for 28 years at a cooperative pottery studio in Brookline.
I started visiting Truro in 1993 with a friend and fell in love with the Outer Cape. Every season here is extraordinary, and I especially love the spring and fall - which is perfect since I rent summer and winter! When I'm here I usually have several projects going, always looking for new ways to improve the house.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Like a lot of visitors to Cape Cod, I'd spend part of each vacation fantasizing about owning a home here. Just a simple beach cottage, something I could work on myself and improve. A chance conversation with a local resident let me know about a foreclosed house not yet on the market so I checked it out. A lot more house than the humble cottage I was looking for! But the price was good and I jumped on it and so glad I did!
It didn't need a lot of serious work, so I threw myself into furnishing it and painting - every room a different color.
Fortunately I find home improvements and repairs both interesting and relaxing!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Cape Cod can get kind of crazy in the summer, but here in Truro, and particularly on my road, the crowds and traffic seem very far away. Coming home after a day at the beach, taking an outdoor shower and lazing in the hammock is so peaceful! Then a cool drink on the deck as the sun sets and the fireflies come out - the essence of vacation and "getting away from it all"!
I think my favorite thing about my house is the living space, which along with the two decks, provides so many different places to be and yet stay connected with others. Lots of light and breezes make it lovely to be inside or out.
And with the beach at the end of the road there are whole days that I don't get in the car - that's my idea of vacation!
