Clean but not comfortable

A sizeable apartment for a family of four with two children. We had plenty of space to unpack our things. Everything was clean and the kitchen was stocked with a few pantry items, which was nice. Everyone loved the rain shower. If you are a light sleeper, you won’t sleep well here. The street noise is constant well past midnight, particularly with the pub across the road. When the neighbor is moving around, it sounds as if they’re in your hallway. It was frightening at night actually. And the mattresses are not comfy, particularly the sofa bed. We wished there had been more instructions for the appliances and switches. All in all it met our needs for our short London stay but we wished it had been more comfortable.

Great location, not so great location

The check in process was very easy and went off without a hitch. The property was plenty roomy for the four of us and the kitchen and bathroom were well cleaned. The location was great for easy tube access and walks through Hyde Park. However it has many Southern exposure windows and with temperatures in the 80's the apartment was quite hot day and night necessitating sleeping with the windows open to provide a little circulation.. This led to the problem of lots of noise from the Pub across the street until midnight each night. It was ironic that the manager stresses no noise and possibly being kicked out if you made too much noise when the biggest noise creator by far was the pub right across the strees.

No longer a gem, needs attention

This is a review for property on Signal Street Flat #2. My experience is that the property was once very nice and comfortable, but has been abused and forgotten by the management company. Keyless entry ws great, but upon check in there were linens hanging to dry, dirty socks and shirts in the closet, the walls dirty with hand prints and marks, there is junk in the furniture drawers, dusty, hard water stained and dirty windows and missing power cord to the bedroom TV. The bedroom mattress has a crater in the right hand side, and slopes to the right, it was extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. The sofa bed was made in the main room, however the springs in the middle cushion are coming out of the sofa. The property manager could only say he is sorry, didn't address the issues other than asking me for photos and then stopped responding. The internet was working intermittently, glad we didn't stay longer than three days. Manager need to do a deep clean and sweep of this property.
