The apartment is in fact a museum with original 16th century frescoes that have been recovered from a recent restoration. Equipped with all comforts with 4 large double bedrooms and a double sofa bed, Leoni Suite can occupy up to a maximum of 10 guests, a real rarity in the historic center of Florence!

The apartment is impeccably equipped with everything you need to guarantee you a pleasant and relaxing stay.

House was great. It was everything we expected great location very clean made our stay enjoyable!!! Only downfall was the stairs. No elevators extremely hard carrying luggage up 6 flights of stairs.

The location was great, and there was plenty of room for our group. The apartment had some minor issues: broken shower door, mediocre air conditioning, some bathroom fixtures that need repair, but overall it met our needs.

Great location, perfect for our big family. Would highly recommend this property especially for longer stays. Great dining room table and kitchen. It’s on the 4th floor and there’s no elevator so be prepared if you have any health challenges. We did have an issue with the heat— one room we couldn’t get the heat off (it was sweltering. In the other room it was cold and we couldn’t get the heat on. Communications

The apartment is set up like two separate spaces that are connected by a door. The stairs to get in the apartment are intense but I felt like I was in a traditional home when I walked in. This place has a ton of character! The rooms had separate air conditioning units. This place felt very close to some of the mean attractions and that a ton of restaurants and shopping nearby.

GREAT LOCATION! Clean apartment with room for the family (there were 10 of us travelling together). Only issue we had is that there were a lot of mosquitos (we did not expect that in February). Would stay there again for sure!

Beautiful place - some oddnesses though

The flat is gorgeous and has a lot of space to it. The style of the decor and furniture was nice as well. there were some challenges with details in the use of the space - such as: only having a single key for such a large space that accommodates 8, no towels for baths or the kitchen, beds were missing comforters, the stove needed some maintenance and pieces were not secured. Could improve some livability details.

Leoni Suite in Florence

We contacted our host within the hour of our arrival and she met us there with keys in hand. She showed us the apartment and collected the city tax. The apartment itself was conveniently located and easy to find. The beds were comfortable, the place was clean. It actually had an apartment within the apartment which worked great for us as we were a party of seven. We did not spend much time in the apartment as we were up early and returned late but I would definitely recommend it!

Amazing location and flat

The house is absolutely amazing. Beds are comfy, towels huge and fluffy. Location is close to everything. 6 beds- 4 bedrooms. 3 with double/queen beds, 1 with 2 twin beds and a loft with another bed. Two washing machines and 2 kitchens. We did have to wait a bit for checkin despite a couple text attempts to pinpoint our arrival time. There are quite a few steps up to the apartment. Makes for a great view, but a little tiring after a day of sightseeing. Would recommend and stay here again.

Holy moly there are a lot of stairs! By our count (as we kept losing count) there’s approximately 80 stairs to get into the apartment. There’s no landing just stairs to climb into the apartment, with the neighbor’s window into their bedroom right in the entrance. We arrived in florence prior to check in but was able to drop off our luggage. The cleaning crew helped us with our luggage which we were incredibly thankful for.The apartment is beautiful! Very old world charm with their decor, large open area for our group to hang out. There are only two bedrooms on the main level, a bed in the loft area, and then two bedrooms in the other half of the apartment with a small kitchen plus washer. There were another 20 steps to get to the two beds one bath. We did have to ask for more bedding as there didn’t seem to be enough for four beds. Glad was super responsive and helpful. As there was a marathon on the day we were leaving, he helped coordinate the taxis for us to arrive prior to the closing of the streets for the race as well as coordinate for a colleague to help us bring down the luggage! I’m not sure we would have made it otherwise. The location is great. Most of us have been to Florence before and the location of the apartment can’t be beat.

very disappointed

The only positive for this property is the location. The property manager was over 1/2 hour late for our check-in, which caused us a ton of frustration wondering if we had accommodations. Be aware this apartment is on the 5th floor, a ton of stairs with no elevator, so bringing luggage up is extremely difficult. We did not have enough towels for our group, NO hot water the entire stay and there was black mold on the ceiling in the main bedroom. the rooms are extremely small. Family members had to find other accommodations, they did not want to stay there. I sent 3 messages with pictures regarding our issues, when the property manager finally responded, we were already on our way out and my family was not comfortable having anyone enter the apartment when we were gone.The issues were never resolved. I messaged the host directly about our stay, their response was it was after check-in and nothing could be done.We were very disappointed in our stay. We wont be back to this poperty!

Communication Difficulties

First, the good stuff - it's a great location and the apartment was nice and clean (though a bit strangely laid out). The difficulties came with the communication. It was hard to get in touch with the person who was meeting us to check-in and once we did, she wasn't able to answer our questions about the apartment, but only do the basic check-in procedure. It turned out that neither of the two washing machines worked and we were counting on them, since we packed light. We communicated this multiple times and finally got word back that the handyman was going to come...and he never did (we stayed there for 6 nights). We ended up having to go to the laundromat. The air conditioners also didn't work in the upper rooms, which they also didn't do anything about. It wasn't too hot while we were there (April), but it was still quite stuffy and I can't imagine how bad those rooms would be in the summer with no air conditioning. These problems didn't ruin our stay, but it makes it difficult to recommend this place.

Unfortunately, we tried and could not stay in the suite and had to find different accommodations for several reasons. The air conditioners continual tripped the breaker even on higher temperature settings. The master bedroom had very potent cigarette smoke smell which we have allergy to. There was no warm water for the masterbath shower. The AC in the master bedroom leaked water when it was able to stay on. And finally there were locks for the main entrances to the living areas for which we did not have a key which we deemed a safety risk. It is an excellent location. Lots and lots of stairs both to the apartment and within the apartment to reach all spaces.
